Norwell finally breaks through vs. Cohasset with victory in Division 4 boys' lacrosse final

Advertisement 'It's been a really tough, competitive matchup every time we've played them,' Panttila said. 'It really feels good to come back and beat them.' Sophomore Wyatt Franssen excelled at the faceoff-X for Norwell, winning his final seven attempts en route to helping the Clippers control 13 of 19 draws in all. Cohasset, with only three seniors on the roster, was denied a chance at its second title in the last three seasons and seventh overall. The Skippers have made 11 appearances in a championship game in all dating back to their inaugural appearance in 2001. With bat and glove, freshman Alyana DeJesus seals a Division 4 three-peat for Joseph Case softball
Then, with two outs and the tying run on second in the top of the seventh, DeJesus secured the final out at shortstop to seal Case's 7-6 win in the Division 4 softball championship game at Worcester State. For a third-straight season, Joseph Case was hoisting a trophy. But each time the Tigers punched, the Case offense answered against Hogan, a junior committed to Boston University.
