This season of The White Lotus has delivered more than just must-watch entertainment, it's also serving up major holiday fashion and hair inspiration.
The new ensemble cast showcases easy breezy beachy, mermaid waves, as seen on Aimee Lou Wood's character, Chelsea, and Jaclyn, played by Michelle Monaghan.
We've also seen this look on fashion sweethearts Sienna Miller and Keira Knightley, both longtime fans of boho-inspired mermaid waves. Celebrity hairstylist Luke Hersheson, who frequently works with both actresses, has perfected this effortlessly chic style, as seen on Sienna at the Venice Film Festival last year.
Luke on why he loves the mermaid hair look, says, 'Mermaid waves are a chic way to style your hair in springtime and beyond. To create the mermaid look on shorter hair, like Kiera, prep the hair with Almost Everything Cream when it was wet – great for priming, moisturising and boosting shine, it's an essential in my kit. When blow-drying hair, work through the Zhoosh through roots and ends to give the hair more hold.'

He recommends starting with small sections, 'Take fairly small sections of the hair, using the mermaid waver attachment from our new Multi-Tasker tool to create undone bends. On Kiera's hair I worked from the bottom, upwards. When I got to the top of her hair, I started dragging it a little away from the root. I finished with a spritz of Air Dry Spray to give her hair some hold.'
A look that's as popular as ever and perfectly timed for holiday season, Dale Herne, expert stylist at Hershesons, shares, 'As we enter the summer holiday season, everyone is craving hair that feels looser and relaxed. It's easy to work and style at home. Take the mermaid waver attachment of the Multi-Tasker long set, and take big sections of the hair, about two inches from the root. Depending on the length of your hair, you may need to do this just once or, if you have longer hair, move down towards the end of the hair and clamp again.'

Sydney Sweeney just sent this American stock soaring
A US clothing brand has seen its share price surge in a 'memestock' frenzy after announcing an advertising campaign featuring actress Sydney Sweeney. Clothing brand American Eagle Outfitters saw its stock jump as much as 12pc in New York after it announced that the Euphoria and The White Lotus actress would star in a new advertising push. The surge added nearly $228m (£168m) to its market value. Ms Sweeney will appear in a campaign for its winter denim collection that includes a limited-edition jacket as well as 'The Sydney Jean'. While advertising campaigns can and do influence a company's performance and Ms Sweeney is one of the most recognisable actresses in the US, analysts said the scale of the share price jump was untethered from reality. The sharp upswing comes after the retailer gained attention on Reddit's WallStreetBets, a forum known for fuelling so-called extreme rallies in the share prices of so-called memestocks. Memestocks are companies where the share price is driven by social media hype and online communities, rather than the company's fundamental financial performance. The phenomenon emerged during the pandemic as people turned to trading as a way to entertain themselves during lockdowns. 'Gamblification' of stock markets The term memestock was coined after companies including GameStop and Blackberry saw their share prices surge in 2021 despite little in the way of updates about their underlying performance. The vertiginous rally triggered the collapse of a hedge fund that had bet against GameStop's stock and helped inspire the 2023 film Dumb Money starring Paul Dano. American Eagle's stock was down almost 50pc so far this year prior to this week's rally after it pulled its annual forecasts because of tariff uncertainty. The company primarily sources its products from China. Ross Mayfield, an analyst at Baird Private Wealth Management, said memestocks were a symbol of how stock markets had been 'gamblified'. He said: 'It says to me nothing about the level of interest rates or financial conditions. This is retail traders moving individual stocks that are heavily shorted. 'It reflects more the gambling culture permeating financial markets. These are not being bid up because of a good earnings report. It's because of a Sydney Sweeney ad campaign.' Ms Sweeney, who has 25.2m followers on Instagram, has fronted campaigns for the likes of Ford, Baskin-Robbins ice cream and luxury fashion brand Miu Miu. As well as being known for her screen roles, Ms Sweeney has become a prominent figure in popular culture and found herself wrapped up in North American culture wars. After her appearance hosting Saturday Night Live, in which she appeared in a sketch as a Hooters waitress, Canadian newspaper the National Post that declared the actress's breasts were the 'double-D harbingers of the death of woke', a claim that sparked a wave of commentary on both sides of the political spectrum centring on her physical appearance. Meanwhile, Ms Sweeney was criticised by commentators on the Left in 2023 after she attended a birthday party for her mother where guests were pictured wearing Maga-style caps. When is White Lotus season 4 releasing? Everything we know so far

Will there be more awkward breakfasts? Another mysterious death? A new batch of wealthy weirdos? Thankfully, yes—Season 4 is coming. But, like everything with this show, it's a bit of a wait. When is White Lotus Season 4 releasing? No official release date yet, and honestly, we might be in for a long pause. To give you an idea: Season 1 came out in July 2021, Season 2 followed about a year later in October 2022, but then Season 3 took its sweet time—landing in February 2025 after some major delays (thank you, writers' strike). So if history repeats itself, we probably won't see Season 4 until late 2026 or even early 2027. And that's being optimistic. Right now, creator Mike White is still brainstorming and scouting the next dreamy (or chaotic) location. Until filming actually starts, which probably won't be until sometime in 2026, we're kind of in the dark. Where will White Lotus Season 4 take us? Every season of The White Lotus has whisked us away to some lavish paradise—Hawaii, Sicily, Thailand. But for Season 4, Mike White's itching to change it up. He's hinted that we might finally get a break from all the beachy, wave-crashing vibes. Europe seems to be a strong frontrunner. Word is, HBO is already checking out locations, and it might not be another coastal escape—maybe a countryside estate or a high-end city spot? Think less resort, more Succession -meets- White Lotus . Mexico, Egypt, South Africa… all in the rumour mix too. As for that whole 'Norway' theory? Probably not happening. This show doesn't do ugly locations. Who's starring in White Lotus Season 4? The cast is still a mystery, as Mike White hasn't started writing or casting yet. The White Lotus always mixes new faces with a few returning players, so here's the scoop: Who Might Come Back? Only two characters have popped up in multiple seasons: Belinda (Natasha Rothwell), the spa manager turned entrepreneur, and Greg (Jon Gries), the schemer with a murky past. Both made it through Season 3, so they're prime candidates to return. Mike White's also teased a possible 'all-star season' with fan-favourite survivors like Portia (Haley Lu Richardson) or even Albie (Adam DiMarco). Nothing's confirmed, though. Fresh Blood : Expect a starry lineup. Past seasons nabbed big names like Sydney Sweeney, Murray Bartlett, and Carrie Coon. Fans on X are throwing out dream picks like Zendaya, Robert Downey Jr., or Sarah Paulson. Casting director Meredith Tucker said auditions haven't started, so we'll have to wait for updates. Music Shake-Up: One big change: composer Cristóbal Tapia de Veer, who gave us those unforgettable theme songs, won't be back for Season 4 due to creative differences. A new composer will take over, so the opening credits might feel different. What's the story for White Lotus Season 4 Season 4? Hard to say, because Mike White usually builds the story around the setting—but we know the formula by now. A glamorous location, a mismatched group of ultra-rich travellers, some resort staff caught in the middle, and at least one dead body. Chaos ensues. Each season also digs into a central theme. Season 1 was all about money. Season 2 focused on sex and desire. Season 3? Spirituality. Season 4 will bring something new—maybe something tied to culture or politics, depending on the setting. White has a knack for spinning drama out of privilege and moral decay, so expect more of that delicious discomfort. And yes, someone will probably die. It's The White Lotus , after all. Kelly Osbourne has addressed the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne, at age 76. Taking to her Instagram Stories on Thursday — just two days after saying goodbye to her dad — the host, 40, wrote, 'I feel unhappy I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had 💔.'
