'Culture acts as a catalyst for innovation and a wellspring of inspiration,' he stated.
Marshood also pointed to the Saudi-Chinese Cultural Year as a significant opportunity for fostering joint initiatives and creative collaboration. He noted that the initiative has paved the way for greater integration and knowledge sharing between the two nations.
Moreover, highlighting the strategic importance of Saudi-Chinese ties, he described the relationship as one of the world's most dynamic partnerships—fueled by Saudi Vision 2030, which prioritizes cultural and economic diversification and investment beyond the oil sector.

UK condemns Hong Kong's reward offers for suspects living in Britain
The UK on Friday condemned Hong Kong authorities for offering payment in exchange for assisting in the arrest of pro-democracy activists living in Britain. Around 150,000 Hong Kong nationals migrated to the UK under a special visa scheme introduced in 2021. But a recent proposal by the British government to reform extradition rules has sparked serious concerns, with some fearing it could pave the way for a resumption of extraditions to Hong Kong, which have been suspended since the 2020 national security law was enacted. Fitch affirms Saudi Arabia's A+ credit rating with stable outlook
Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — Fitch Ratings has affirmed Saudi Arabia's long-term foreign currency issuer default rating at A+ with a stable outlook, highlighting the Kingdom's strong fiscal position and continued reform momentum. In its latest report, the international rating agency said Saudi Arabia's credit rating reflects the robustness of its financial fundamentals. It noted that key indicators —such as the sovereign net foreign asset position and the debt-to-GDP ratio— are significantly stronger than the averages for countries in the "A" and even "AA" rating categories. Fitch emphasized that the Kingdom holds substantial financial reserves in the form of public sector deposits and other assets, supporting its macroeconomic stability.
