Ajay Devgn's first look from his upcoming film, Son of Sardaar 2, is finally out. In the first poster from the film unveiled today, the actor is seen proudly twirling his moustache and wearing a turban, taking you back to 2012 when the first part was released, starring Sonakshi Sinha.
Ajay Devgn looked mighty in his first-ever poster from Son of Sardaar 2. Wearing a leather jacket, the actor is seen standing atop two battle tanks, teasing at both larger-than-life action and comedy. 'The return of the sardaar" flashed proudly beside him on the poster. Taking to the comment section, fans hailed the poster. A user wrote, 'Ise bolte hai poster (This is called a poster)". '25th july , duniya bekar bina theatre mein son of sardar. You all will fall in love with this one!", wrote Vindu Dara Singh, who is a part of the film. A third user posted, 'Pehle bike Phir horse Phir car Ab ye (First bike, then horse and car and now this)."
While Son of Sardaar 2 evokes a sense of nostalgia, the film is signficant for another reason – It marks model-actor Mukul Dev's last film. His close friend, Vindu, spoke to ETimes about his performance in the film. He said, 'He has done such fantastic work in SOS 2. He was my Tony and I was his Tito. He had an amazing role and people are going to roll on the floor laughing after seeing his work in July when the film releases. But unfortunately, he will not be around to enjoy the success and see the love."
Son of Sardaar 2 began in 2024. This time, Sonakshi Sinha was replaced by Mrunal Thakur as the female lead. The star cast also features Chunky Panday and Deepak Dobriyal. The film is directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and comes nearly 13 years after the original.
