Willie Mullins to finally unleash ‘stunning' £180,000 future superstar with Grand National-winning jockey in the saddle
Ryanair boss Michael O'Leary moved quickly to snap up the hugely promising Leader Des Bordes last June.

His half-brother Kopek Des Bordes is one of Mullins' top horses and won this year's Supreme Novices' Hurdle.
Kopek Des Bordes is unbeaten in four and will return at slim odds of 4-9 on the same day his sibling makes his debut.
Both horses are out of the dam Miss Berry, with Leader Des Bordes being by Tunis, who counts Group 3 winner Knoxville among his progeny.
Grand National-winning jockey and Willie's son Patrick will take the ride on Leader Des Bordes.
They will run in the prestigious Goffs Defender Bumper (5.25pm) on day one of the star-studded Punchestown Festival.
It will be no surprise to see all Mullins' bumper horses near the head of the market for next year's Supreme.
Champion Bumper winner Bambino Fever is the current 14-1 favourite and she will put her unbeaten record on the line on Wednesday.
But it's testament to the high regard in which Leader Des Bordes is held that he can be backed now at odds of 25-1 for the same race.
His pedigree suggests his future could lie over further, though.
Among Miss Berry's progeny is the Group 1-winning former Nicky Henderson mare Utopie Des Bordes.
She won the G1 2m6f Prix Maurice Gillois Grand Steeple-Chase by six lengths in 2012 when trained by Francis-Marie Cottin before moving to Seven Barrows.
There's also a Grade 2 and Listed winners in the impressive family.
Harold Kirk, who buys Mullins' horses, confirmed almost a year ago when they bought Leader Des Bordes the Goffs Defender Bumper would be the plan.
Eleven months on it looks like it could come to fruition, with Kirk saying at the time: "I always knew he was going to be very popular.
"He's a stunning horse with a huge pedigree. He's for an existing owner in the yard.
"We'll be hoping this one can win the Goffs Defender Bumper next year. That'll be the first plan anyway."

James Wade said the lifestyles of top darts and golf players cannot be compared as he brought up Scottie Scheffler's mode of transport after his latest win at the World Matchplay James Wade claimed darts players have it tougher than elite golfers as he brought up Scottie Scheffler's private jet and his use of budget airlines. Wade made the comments after continuing his pursuit of a second World Matchplay crown with a fine 11-5 win over Wessel Nijman. The 2007 champion showed in victories over Joe Cullen (10-3) and then Nijman why he is a genuine contender for glory at Blackpool's Winter Gardens. Wade is one of darts' most thoughtful players, and after his win over Nijman, he struck a similar tone to Scheffler. Before his recent Open Championship victory, he said about how there was more to life than his chosen profession. Sharing his own priorities in life away from darts, Wade said: "There's more important things outside of this. I want to go and eat fish and chips with my wife after this. This isn't that important. "I think people are too amplified on what you're achieving and what you're doing. I know I'm one of the best, probably top 10 in the world at the moment. Now I go home to see my wife, Arthur and Alfred [his children]. I'm winning. None of this is important. It's really not." When made aware of Scheffler's comments, Wade went on a tangent about top golfers' luxury lifestyles compared to that of leading darts players. He added: "I'm not really interested in what another golf player says because golf players aren't even close to being on the pressure or the pedestal that darts players are put upon. "You can't compare that. When he gets in his private jet... he doesn't have to get on an easyJet, he doesn't have to get on a happy bus, he doesn't have to do all those things. "So it's not comparable really. It's quite amazing that darts players achieve when they don't have that. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to be on a private jet and use a backward [private] entrance at an airport. But I'm a darts player. I will use easyJet, Ryanair, because I am what I am. "It's nothing about money, it's just how they travel. Would you travel 12 hours to get to a floor tournament?" Before The Open, Scheffler delivered a surprisingly candid press conference where he confessed that golfing success didn't fulfil him and that he valued being a devoted husband and father above everything else. However, after claiming the Claret Jug for the first time, he claimed his remarks had been misinterpreted and stressed he wasn't disrespecting the sport or diminishing his accomplishments. He said: "I think it really underestimates what I was trying to communicate. Maybe I didn't do as effective a job as I hoped to in communicating that. At the end of the day, I have a tremendous amount of gratitude towards moments like these. "I literally worked my entire life to become good at this game and play this game for a living. It's one of my greatest joys of my life to compete out here. "To be able to win The Open Championship here at Portrush is a feeling that's really hard to describe. This is amazing to win the Open Championship, but at the end of the day, having success in life, whether it be in golf, work, whatever it is, that's not what fulfils the deepest desires of your heart. "Am I grateful for it? Do I enjoy it? Oh, my gosh, yes, this is a cool feeling. It's just tough to describe when you haven't lived it." Wade is set to face Gian van Veen, who dumped out defending champion Luke Humphries in the first round, in the Matchplay quarter-finals on Thursday.

But Wade is keeping it real and used the analogy of golfer Scheffler as he spoke about what matters in Blackpool. Of course, he wants to win the title, but he said: 'There's more important things outside of this. I want to go and eat fish and chips with my wife after this. This isn't that important. I know I'll always be there or thereabouts in the rankings. 'Why do you play golf at a competitive level? To supply for your family. All I do is I take me hat off to them. They're all earning a bundle of money and no one really cares about what people think within reason. As long as you try your best when you're at that stage, at that pinnacle of the game. 'Golf players aren't even close to being on the pressure that dart players are put upon. When he gets in his private jet, he doesn't have to get on an Easy Jet, he doesn't have to get on a happy bus, he doesn't have to do all those things.' 'I think you should perhaps do what darts players do, because it's non-comparable. 'It's nothing about money, it's just how they travel. It's how they travel isn't it? Would you travel 12 hours to get to a floor tournament? 'So, this guy [Scheffler], if he wants to invite me on his private jet to go to a tournament, I'm your man and I will go there. I might even wash his car before it. 'It's quite amazing what dart players achieve when they don't have all that up their bottom, you know. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to get in a private jet. I'd love to be in a backwards entrance in an airport. But, you know, I'm a darts player. I will do EasyJet. I will do Ryanair. Because I am what I am. 'Sorry, I didn't mean that in a rude way. That's just how it really is. There's no PDC player that gets any special treatment. 'The most important thing for me is my family, my boys, Arthur and Alfred. If I can support them and give them something different that I didn't have, that's all I want. They're the best things in the world to me.' Wade didn't feel he was at his best in the success over Wessel Nijman, but smiled: 'It's like a duck. Calm on top,and then paddling underneath. I think there's a lot of players like that. Rock legend Sir Bob Geldof surprised passengers on a Ryanair flight from Venice to Bristol. Despite having a net worth of £111million ($150m), the Boomtown Rats singer, 73, showed that he was both an eco-warrior and a man of the people as he and his band travelled on a £47 flight to Bristol. The Irish singer was spotted at Venice's Marco Polo airport by a fellow passenger who said he spotted the millionaire looking incognito in sunglasses and having a coffee and a croissant in a cafe after security. They also noted that he was happy to join the long Ryanair check-in queue, and didn't pay for early boarding. 'He didn't even pay to fast-track security or anything, he didn't moan or anything – he was just with everybody else,' Jay Curtis, a travel content creator, told Bristol Post. The content creator got a selfie and asked Sir Bob what he was doing on a commercial flight, to which he replied: 'I don't spend money on luxury travel'. Sir Bob's travel journey took place on Friday, July 18, days after the Boomtown Rats performed in Italy at the Pordenone Blues Festival. The concert was a free event and took place 50 years after Live Aid, which was organised by Sir Bob, and was the largest charity concert in the history of music.
