Stephon Gilmore names five players to create dream all-time secondary
The unit would include himself, two safeties and two other cornerbacks from any generation. Gilmore chose Deion Sanders and Ronde Barber as the other two corners on the roster. At safety, he went with Ed Reed and Rod Woodson to complete the Hall of Fame secondary.
"I got to go with Deion on the other side, Primetime. I gotta go with Ed Reed at free. Let me see, strong safety—I could go Rod Woodson," said Gilmore. "Nickel, who was a nice nickel? I need somebody that's smart in there, that's physical. It's only one nickel that's in the Hall of Fame—from Tampa, Ronde Barber."
That secondary would have 39 Pro Bowl nominations between them all. It would be any quarterback's worst nightmare to throw against.
Imagine that group going against Tom Brady and the greatest collection of receiving talent throughout NFL history. Gilmore recently named the toughest receivers he's faced in his NFL career. It would be a dream matchup for the ages.
