Roma in the mix for Echeverri, Fabio Silva and Guiu
Among the hottest names are Claudio Echeverri and Fabio Silva.
Echeverri, an attacking midfielder for Manchester City, is Roma's top target for midfield.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Argentine continues to negotiate with the Giallorossi, but the real obstacle is the option to buy.
Roma would like to include this clause in the loan deal, but Manchester City is hesitant, as they have no intention of granting an automatic option to buy.
A final decision could be made in the next few hours, if Manchester City is willing to negotiate this option. However, manager Pep Guardiola is reluctant to accept this option, preferring to sell the young striker to Girona, another City team.
Fabio Silva, a Wolverhampton striker whose contract expires in 2026, is another solid target. Roma are interested in bringing him to the capital in a cash deal worth around €15 million.
Echeverri e Silva isn't the only option. Roma are also monitoring Marc Guiu, a young Chelsea striker born in 2006.
In midfield, Roma have also set their sights on two targets: Fulham's João Palhinha, who continues to be a key target, and Racing Club's Nardoni, whose name is even further away but not ruled out.
