After $50,000 birthday bonus at UFC Nashville, Fatima Kline sets sights on MSG
Kline (8-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) was the biggest favorite on the card against Martinez (8-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) and kept after the finish until she ended things midway through the final round at UFC on ESPN 70 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., with a massive head kick.

To top things off, the finish came on the strawweight's 25th birthday – and came with a pretty solid present, too, in the form of her first $50,000 performance bonus. Kline said she wasn't content just riding out a decision win.
"I think I heard two and a half minutes (left in the fight) – I knew that the round was coming to a close," Kline told UFC.com after the win. "I knew I was better than that, to let it go to a decision. I don't want to be a decisioner. I want to be a finisher.
"I felt like she was hesitating a lot and she was worried about my jab. … I knew if I faked the jab enough and set up that kick, that it was going to land – and that's exactly what happened."
Kline, a 25-year-old former CFFC strawweight champion, said she wants to continue to take on stiff tests to climb into the rankings. Her win over Martinez had her as upwards of a 10-1 betting favorite heading into the fight.

After a loss to Jasmine Jasudavicius in her promotional debut a year ago to the weekend of her win over Martinez, she knocked out Victoria Dudakova earlier this year. With two wins and two finishes in a row, she's shooting her shot.
"I want a top 15 (opponent). That's two dominant finishes in a row, so anybody in the top 15, I'll take," Kline said. "(Madison Square Garden in New York) is in November. That's my home state. I'm a New York native. I've always been there and I'll always stay. So I want MSG, I want top 15, and I want $50 grand for my birthday."
Check out Kline's post-fight interview in the video below.

Conor McGregor nude scandal as rapper claims he sent 'unsolicited' pictures
A rapper has claimed that MMA fighter Conor McGregor has sent her nude pictures online. Azealia Banks took to X, where she made the shocking admission and shared alleged screenshots from McGregor. The 34-year-old musician is known for her outlandish comments on social media. She wrote on the platform formerly known as Twitter: "How you gonna send a b**** a some crooked pics then threaten her not to tell. "@TheNotoriousMMA do you know who I am?" READ MORE: 'I went from being a block soldier robbing stores to a cage-fighting champion' She added: "Honey...... ain't u trying to be the president of Ireland what is it giving fam?" She shared another screenshot where she claimed that McGregor woke up early and deleted his pictures from her chat. McGregor seemingly said: "Don't be a rat cos all rats get caught." In another tweet, she said: "Conor McGregor 4 President". A spokesman for McGregor has been contacted by our sister site, DublinLive, for comment. The post against McGregor coincides with the UFC lightweight champion's 37th birthday, which saw tributes from his fiancée and mother of four, Dee Devlin. This follows another scandal which saw McGregor allegedly pictured kissing a mystery woman - who was not his partner - on a beach in Florida. In the images, McGregor put his hand on her thigh, had his arm slung over her shoulder, and seemingly planted a kiss on her lips. Dee has not addressed the images publicly, but did wish her beau a happy birthday. She said: "Happy Birthday to the person who always keeps Dee entertained and makes her smile." The post included a montage of the couple in their joyous moments. The pair have been an item for 16 years and got engaged in 2020. They share sons Conor Jr, eight, Rian, four, Mack, one, and daughter Croia, six. Banks has previously said she has been diagnosed with premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) as well as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and in the past has been accused of homophobia, transphobia, and xenophobia. The rapper has also criticised Birmingham's Market for being 'dirty'.

UFC announces return to Perth
The UFC is headed back to Perth, Western Australia. For the first time, Perth will host a UFC Fight Night rather than a pay-per-view. The event takes place Sept. 27 (Sept. 28 locally) at RAC Arena. The card will be the fourth the city has hosted in UFC history. The other three were UFC 221 (February 2018), UFC 284 (February 2023) and UFC 305 (August 2024). The promotion announced the event officially Monday, though no bouts were revealed. The Oceanic region is home to numerous UFC fighters, including featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski and welterweight champion Jack Della Maddalena. With a title unlikely to be on the line, ranked fighters from the region who do not have a fight on the books who could headline the event include Israel Adesanya, Dan Hooker, and Kai Kara-France.
