Rubina Dilaik talks about marriage, conflict, and fun

Popular television star Rubina Dilaik is all set to share screen space with her husband Abhinav Shukla in the much-anticipated reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga. Known for her candid nature, Rubina opened up about the nuances of her relationship and why they chose to take part in the show post-parenthood. In a candid interaction, Rubina was asked whether she believes in discussing everything with her partner. 'Avoid is a strong word, and I've never done that,' she said. 'Avoiding is a no-no, but discussing absolutely everything is also not wise in a relationship. Sometimes it's better to leave certain things as they are after understanding them.' Touching on how they handle disagreements, Rubina said she and Abhinav have learned to 'pick their battles.' She elaborated, 'Ignoring is not the way. Some fights need to be resolved thoughtfully, while others are too trivial to give importance to.' Abhinav echoed the sentiment and added, 'Some issues can be solved in a few hours, some in a few days, and some take more time. We decide how much energy a problem deserves depending on its nature.' He jokingly added, 'In our case, like I always say—'Whatever you say, baby.' That line has now become famous.' The couple, who welcomed twin daughters Jeeva and Edhaa on November 27, 2024, revealed that parenting played a role in their decision to join the show. 'Ever since becoming a mother, I wanted to spend more time with my husband. I wanted to have some fun, so I took up this show,' Rubina shared. Hosted by Sonali Bendre and Munawar Faruqui, Pati Patni Aur Panga also features Gurmeet Choudhary–Debina Bonnerjee, Avika Gor–Milind Chandwani, Sudesh Lehri–Mamta Lehri, Geeta Phogat–Pawan Kumar, and Swara Bhasker–Fahad Ahmed.

She Got The Wrong Parcel In 2015, Opened It In 2025. Wrapped Inside Was Nostalgia

Last Updated: A woman opened a parcel she'd left unopened for 10 years after receiving the wrong order. What she found inside has captivated millions on social media In a world where next-day delivery is the norm, most of us would struggle to leave a parcel unopened for more than a few hours, let alone 10 years. But that's exactly what one woman did after receiving the wrong order from an online fashion retailer. Told to keep the package, she tucked it away and forgot about it. Now, nearly a decade later, her decision to finally open it sparked curiosity and amusement across social media, offering a nostalgic glimpse into mid-2010s fashion and raising a few unexpected questions. A peculiar story has captured the attention of social media users: a woman recently opened a parcel that had been delivered back in 2015 or 2016, which she had kept unopened for nearly a decade. Instagram user Jess, known online as @sideofsequins, posted a video revealing the long-forgotten delivery. The clip has since racked up millions of views. [ Watch the video here ] The Wrong Parcel, But No Need To Return It! In the video, Jess explains that she originally ordered clothes from the fashion brand Missguided in 2015. However, she received the wrong items. When she contacted the company, they responded, 'We don't want the parcel back; you can keep it." Rather than opening it at the time, Jess simply stored it away. Now, almost 10 years later, she finally decided to see what was inside. The first item she discovered was a voucher that had expired in 2016, confirming the year of the delivery. Next was a cream-coloured bodysuit with a tie detail. Jess laughed, saying, 'I don't know how to wear this. Now that I'm pregnant, I definitely can't wear it!" A Fashion Time Capsule As the video continues, Jess unveils more items from the mystery parcel. She reveals a pencil skirt, likely intended to be part of a coordinated outfit, followed by another pencil skirt featuring a lace-up design. Other pieces included a white button-down top, a black shirt with lace accents, and a basic crop top. With amusement, Jess commented, 'Back in the mid-2010s, we were all dressing like we worked in an office by day and went clubbing by night. This is a snapshot of that era." The video has received 3.4 million views, drawing a wave of reactions. Many viewers were shocked that she hadn't opened the parcel sooner. One user remarked, 'As soon as they told you to keep it, why didn't you open it right away?" A Moment Of Reflection Jess closed the video with some poignant thoughts: 'I wonder who these clothes were actually meant for. Where was that woman planning to wear them? Did I ever get my original order? And did she get hers?" view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Please keep discussions respectful and constructive. Son Of Sardaar 2 Box Office Day 3: Ajay Devgn Film Closes Opening Weekend With Rs 24 Crore

Son of Sardaar 2, starring Ajay Devgn, opened with Rs 7.25 crore and wrapped up its first weekend with Rs 24.75 crore. Son Of Sardaar 2 Box Office Collection Day 3: Ajay Devgn has once again brought his pagdi and punchlines to the big screen and audiences are loving it. Son of Sardaar 2, which released in theatres on August 1, 2025, may have received mixed reviews from critics, but the box office numbers are telling a cheerier tale. The comedy-drama opened with Rs 7.25 crore on Day 1 and has now wrapped up its first weekend with a solid Rs 24 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. According to trade estimates, Son of Sardaar 2 kicked off its run with Rs 7.5 crore on Day 1. The film picked up pace on its second day with a 13.79 per cent jump, earning Rs 8.25 crore. The momentum continued into Sunday, with the film adding another Rs 9.25 crore to its total. With this, Son of Sardaar 2 wrapped up its opening weekend with a collection of Rs 24.75 crore. Son of Sardaar 2 may not be roaring like Ajay Devgn's earlier hit Raid 2, but it's still managing to make its presence felt. The film has already raced past Dhadak 2, which stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri and released on the same day. While Son of Sardaar 2 closed its first weekend with Rs 24.75 crore, Dhadak 2 wrapped up at a modest Rs 11.50 crore. The Ajay Devgn-starrer is also contending with strong competition from Mohit Suri's emotional drama Saiyaara, which continues to attract steady footfalls. News18 Showsha rated the film with 3 out of 5 stars. A part of our review reads: 'With all said and done, Son of Sardar 2 is a decent watch that you can think of watching at the theatres near you with your family. Though the film tries to give a message at the end, go with a mindset to watch some pure slapstick comedy that doesn't require you to apply your mind and logic. Lastly, be ready to be surprised for a small announcement in the end, and no, it's not Son of Sardar 3." The film also stars late Mukul Dev, marking his posthumous release. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film features a powerhouse cast including Ajay Devgn, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Neeru Bajwa, Chunky Panday, Kubbra Sait, Deepak Dobriyal, Vindu Dara Singh, Roshni Walia, Sharat Saxena, and Sahil Mehta. Presented by Jio Studios and Devgn Films, A Devgn Films and SOS 2 Limited production, Son of Sardaar 2 is produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande. Produced by N R Pachisia and Pravin Talreja, and co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Son of Sardaar 2 was previously slated for release on July 25, 2025. It's release date was later pushed to August 1. First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Please keep discussions respectful and constructive.
