
Huawei Cloud Hosts Saudi Developer Conference 2025 in Riyadh
Huawei Cloud announced the successful hosting of the Saudi Arabia 2025 Huawei Cloud Developer Conference. The event took place at the Center for Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE) headquarters in Riyadh. It brought together developers and startup founders from across the Kingdom.
The conference highlighted Huawei Cloud's AI-powered cloud services and cloud-native development tools. It served as a platform for knowledge exchange and reinforced Huawei's commitment to building a strong digital ecosystem in Saudi Arabia. The event aligned with the country's digital transformation goals.
Huawei introduced specialized training programs, advanced development tools, and professional certifications for Saudi developers. Attendees gained access to initiatives such as the Huawei Cloud Developer Program (HCDP), Huawei Cloud Startup Program, and Huawei Cloud Certified Developer for AI (HCCDX). These initiatives support skill development and business growth within the cloud ecosystem.
The company revealed plans to expand its cloud services to over 200 through three Availability Zones in the Riyadh Region. Huawei Cloud holds 'Class C' certification from the Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST), reflecting compliance with local and international standards for security and reliability.
Huawei also showcased ModelArts, its AI development platform that accelerates AI solution deployment. The platform supports various foundation models and targets sectors like digital humans, smart cities, and universities. Additionally, Huawei demonstrated CodeArts, a DevSecOps platform supporting over 20 programming languages, which ensures secure and streamlined cloud development.
The event included success stories from partners such as Systems Arabia, FanRuan, Dyna.AI, and NAS Solutions. These companies shared how Huawei Cloud's AI-driven solutions helped scale their innovations.
Huawei's continued investment in infrastructure and developer enablement plays a key role in advancing Saudi Arabia's digital economy. The visit included a tour of the Huawei Lianqiu Lake R&D Centre, which showcases their latest innovations in media and smart education. Abdulla Al Hamed has noted that the BRIDGE Summit is a strategic incubator for responsible cooperation, and will serve as an open laboratory for developing new partnership models and joint investments that will shape the future of media, not only as a profession but as a driver of innovation and an effective tool for achieving sustainable development.
