Lidl by Lidl: Supermarket launches Oasis jacket ahead of tour
The limited edition coat – named in homage to the 2002 single Little By Little – was unveiled on a 30ft wall outside Manchester City's Etihad Stadium on Wednesday morning.
The design is a tongue-in-cheek reference to Liam Gallagher's ICONS campaign last year, which saw the iconic frontman wear a Berghaus jacket, which fans joked were similar to Lidl's brand colours.
Featuring drink-cooling pockets, a bottle opener for a zipper, a 'Lidl By Lidl' badge, and even a tambourine 'for spontaneous jam sessions' – the coat will be available to buy for £30 from next Wednesday, July 9.
Those who miss out, will be able to get a branded bucket hat or a pair of Lidl aviators, available on their website for free.
Joanna Gomer, marketing director at Lidl GB says of the campaign: 'In celebration of one of the biggest reunion tours for music & culture, we wanted to give consumers 'everything they ever dreamed of' and create something iconic.'

Pop-up shops selling official Oasis merchandise are opening across the UK and Ireland to mark the occasion, with the first one already opened in their hometown of Manchester.
An official Oasis pop-up shop is set to open in Edinburgh ahead of the bands' Murrayfield concerts, launching on Monday, August 4, before the band play three sold-out nights in the capital.

Oasis set list 'revealed' as band shares first look at reunion tour stage

And perhaps more importantly, the set list has been 'revealed.' Noel Gallagher, 58, and younger brother Liam Gallagher, 52, haven't performed together since 2009 when they announced their split, meaning the world was, quite literally, sent into a frenzy last August when they confirmed the guns had 'fallen silent'. Tomorrow night, after a lengthy wait, the siblings will kick off their string of sold-out reunion shows at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Noel was pictured arriving in the city yesterday, with rehearsals underway as they prepare to perform some of their biggest tunes to thousands of adoring fans who will scream every word back. With a mere 24 hours to go, the Oasis brothers took to social media with a teaser video that offered a glimpse of the stage design thanks to an epic drone light show. The footage was captured by a drone flying over the stadium, with the sky lit up in a bright 'OASIS' logo. What's more, reports suggest the full set list has been leaked, with MailOnline claiming Oasis will kick off their set with Acquiesce, which originally appeared as the B-side to Oasis' first number-one single, Some Might Say, in 1995. After the fan-favourite tune will come Morning Glory, with the first half also including tunes Cigarettes & Alcohol, Supersonic, Roll With It, and Half the World Away. As per the publication, Oasis will sing 23 songs in total, the latter part of the concert including Rock and Roll Star, The Masterplan, Don't Look Back in Anger, and, of course, Wonderwall. Ending on a high, the brothers will close with Champagne Supernova, also the closing track on the band's second studio album, having saved their most popular tunes til the end. Speaking ahead of the first show, a source hinted that Noel and Lim are still keeping some distance. Doors will open at 5pm before support acts Cast and Richard Ashcroft perform at 6pm and 7pm, respectively. Oasis will take to the stage at 8:15pm with a 10:30pm curfew, promising over two hours of music. The group will play 19 shows in the UK and Ireland this year before heading across Europe, with tickets sold to 900,000 fans. However, to say it's been smooth sailing getting here would be false. At the end of May, it was claimed that Noel and Liam still hadn't rehearsed together, with Liam also avoiding studio time with fellow performers Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell, and Mikey Rowe. 'Chingchong' (believed to have originated in the 19th century) is understood as an offensive or derogatory phrase that's used to mock or denigrate East Asian languages. While usually intended to insult people who speak Chinese languages, it has also been applied towards languages and speakers from Japan and South Korea. Liam deleted the post shortly after and responded nonchalantly with 'Whatever' when one user warned he might get cancelled. It's believed Oasis will generate a whopping £400million in ticket sales and add-ons, just from their initial dates. As for their take-home pay, Noel and Liam are thought to be getting £50million each.
