The couple made their debut as a couple at the 2023 ACM Awards. The two sparked rumors shortly before that after Wilson, while in Pittsburgh on Luke Combs' world tour, wore a Hodges jersey. In an interview, Wilson said they had been dating long before that, waiting about two and a half years before going public.
"Duck" was briefly a fan favorite in 2019 when Ben Roethlisberger was injured. Hodges took over for a struggling Mason Rudolph, and Steelers fans rallied behind him. With his quirky nickname, Hodges inspired memes and plenty of Strip District t-shirts during his time in Pittsburgh.
The Steelers released Hodges in 2020 and he was later signed by the Los Angeles Rams in 2021. He went on to play for the Ottawa Redblacks in the Canadian Football League until his retirement in 2022.
Wilson was last in Pittsburgh for her Country's Cool Again Tour last fall. She recently announced her Whirlwind Tour, but a stop in Pittsburgh isn't on the schedule. "Whirlwind" was nominated for best country album at the 2025 Grammys, where she joined Jacob Collier for a tribute to the late Quincy Jones.

Steelers' Darnell Washington defeats T.J. Watt, three other defenders in backs-on-backers

Backs-on-backers, an iconic Steelers training camp tradition where the pass-blocking skills of running backs and tight ends are put to the test — and Darnell Washington just passed with flying colors. At Friday Night Lights Practice, there was arguably no greater performance during the backs-on-backers drill than Washington, who reportedly defeated Jack Sawyer, DeMarvin Leal, Alex Highsmith, and the NFL's highest-paid non-quarterback, T.J. Watt. Coming out of college, Washington was billed as the best pass-blocking tight end of the 2023 NFL Draft class — and the Steelers didn't think twice when he dropped all the way to the third round. Many predicted a Year 3 breakout for the huge Steelers tight end — but the acquisition of Pro Bowl TE Jonnu Smith put a damper on expectations. Clearly, Washington is ready for whatever challenges lie ahead — set out to prove that Smith and Pat Freiermuth aren't the only tight ends opposing defenses should worry about this season. Steelers' Mike Tomlin gives injury updates on Joey Porter Jr., Cory Trice, Calvin Anderson

CB Cory Trice sustained a hamstring injury and OL Calvin Anderson had a lower body injury in tonight's practice, Tomlin Porter Jr. is day-to-day with an unspecified ailment. Steelers HC Mike Tomlin has provided some injury updates following the Friday Night Lights practice in Latrobe. Following the annual tradition at Latrobe Memorial Stadium, Tomlin addressed three Steelers dealing with injuries — CB Joey Porter Jr., CB Cory Trice, and OL Calvin Anderson. According to the long-time Steelers head coach, Porter is dealing with an undisclosed injury but is day-to-day, Anderson's lower body is being evaluated after slipping, and Trice sustained a hamstring injury. Porter didn't participate in practice and was spotted by spectators and reporters alike wearing sweats — while both Anderson and Trice were hurt at Friday Night Lights. Anderson serves as the top backup offensive tackle, while Trice may need to compete for a roster spot in a loaded CB room — which makes the timing of his hamstring injury even more unfortunate. We at Steelers Wire will keep you all updated on the condition of these three Steelers, which will likely be cleared up in the next couple of training camp practices — hopefully with a positive injury update. Ex-NBA star Danilo Gallinari's pregnant wife bitten by shark in Puerto Rico

The pregnant wife of former NBA star Danilo Gallinari revealed on Friday that she had been attacked by a shark in Puerto Rico. Eleonora Boi posted a photo of herself in a hospital bed with her tongue sticking out on her Instagram page with an explanation of the terrifying event. She's expecting her third child with the former New York Knicks forward. She described it as the 'worst day of my life.' 'I never thought I could get attacked by a shark and I was near the shore and on a super crowded beach. Thankfully me and my baby are fine,' she wrote, according to a translation. 'I was rushed to the rescue and the surgery to fix my poor bruised leg went well. Now I just have to recover from the great scare. . . .' She joked that the shark would be hearing from her lawyer and thanked her husband for his 'courage' during the situation. She reportedly suffered a wound on her thigh. Department of Natural and Environmental Resources biologist Nilda Jiménez told El Nuevo Dia that officials were investigating the type of shark that bit Boi. 3 Eleonora Boi poses for a selfie from her hospital bed after the Puerto Rico shark attack. 'But to validate this, a series of analyses would be necessary. For this purpose, medical personnel were asked for samples, which, if available, would be analyzed promptly.' Gallinari didn't address the incident. The Italy native played in the NBA from 2008 to 2024 with eight different teams over his career. He averaged 14.9 points and 4.7 rebounds in 777 career games.
