Union Public Service Commission
(UPSC) has officially released the schedule for the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025 Mains, with the exam set to take place on Sunday, August 10, 2025.
The ESE 2025 recruitment aims to fill 457 vacancies across various engineering disciplines including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. The Mains exam will be descriptive in nature and is open only to candidates who qualified the Preliminary stage held earlier this year.

The online registration window for ESE 2025 will close on October 8, 2024, at upsc.gov.in.
Interested candidates are required to complete their One Time Registration (OTR) before accessing the application form. A correction window will be available from October 9 to 15, 2024, for applicants to make changes in their submitted forms.
The application fee is ₹200 for General/OBC/EWS candidates, while female candidates and those belonging to SC, ST, and PwBD categories are exempted from paying the fee. Candidates must be aged between 21 and 30 years as of January 1, 2025, i.e., born between January 2, 1995, and January 1, 2004, to be eligible.
