Nando's fans rush to try new menu items from returning burger to 'girl dinner'
Nando's has launched a fresh batch of new menu items for fans to enjoy this summer. Peri-peri enthusiasts can tuck into these new treats in Nando's restaurants around the UK or order them for delivery now after they were released last week – and people have already been rushing out to try them.
There is nothing like treating yourself to a nice meal out or a takeaway when you have been super busy, or while hanging out with friends or loved ones. Many people opt for Nando's – either eating in the restaurant, or ordering it to their homes. The Nando's team are always changing up the menu. Back in March, the chicken chain has announced its new Extra Saucy Wings, while in May a burger named The Big Cheese was launched.
Switching things up again, the restaurant is now delighting fans with a wrap inspired by one of the most popular summer meals going – the Super Caesar Wrap. Nando's says it is perfect for "girl dinner" and is "everything you love about Nando's' Caesar Salad but extra."
It includes pulled chicken, crunchy croutons, crisp lettuce, Herby Pickles, Creamy Salad Dressing and a drizzle of the recently launched PERi-honey. It's sweet, spicy and crunchy, all wrapped up. On its own, the wrap is priced at £10.25. If you make it a meal with one regular side you will be charged £14.50, and two sides totals £16.50.
On Instagram, popular food page New Foods UK shared a post, and said: "The new Super Caesar Wrap is a must try! 10/10!" Many people tagged their friends in the comments and shared plans to try it out for themselves.
On TikTok, Yaz Moore shared her review of the new wrap, and said: "I really like that. You know what, the Caesar dressing isn't too strong either. I'm very picky with Caesar dressing, I can't stand the ones that come in like pre made salad. I only like one type of Caesar dressing and this one isn't bad at all."
She added: "I'm so happy, I think I have found my new favourite wrap."
Also now added to the menu is a returning item for little ones -the Nandino Burger priced at £6.25.
This much-loved burger is making a long-awaited comeback and has been improved, insists Nando's. The burger includes a grilled chicken breast with lettuce, Lemon & Herb mayo and Heinz ketchup in Nando's new soft roll. The new burger can be ordered as part of the Nandino menu.
It comes after garlic BBQ has been crowned the nation's sauce of the summer. Thousands of fans voted for their favourite sauce to return, but the sweet and smoky spice took an early lead in the race and maintained pole position for the PERi-ometer prize.
In a close second place was Mango & Lime, and Smoky Churrasco came in third. Fans can now order their meals with Garlic BBQ sauce.

Asda shoppers furious after spotting unlikely chocolate bar on shelves
Cadbury is a phenomenally popular confectionery company with a number of instantly recognisable products, but one chocolate bar caused quite a stir after it was spotted in Asda Asda shoppers are scratching their heads after spotting an unlikely Cadbury chocolate bar on the shelves. Legendary British chocolatier Cadbury is a firm favourite among many people, with an enduring legacy spanning generations. Founded in 1824, the company went on to become one of the most famous confectionery brands in the world with many of its products instantly recognisable. The classic Dairy Milk is a staple and now boasts a number of spin-off flavour combinations, adding to its allure. Like many companies, Cadbury often releases themed products around certain major calendar events like Christmas and Easter. Asda shoppers were stunned, however, after spotting a festive favourite already on the shelves, despite Christmas still being 155 days away. The supermarket - which sells necessities including food, cleaning products, baby care items and more, as well as its on-trend homeware, clothing, and limited edition releases - is already stocking Cadbury's beloved Mini Snowballs bar. The bar is a festive iteration of the Dairy Milk, made of smooth milk chocolate and packed with mini 'snowball' pieces. Popular food and snack account New Foods UK took to Instagram to share an image of the chocolate bar after it was seen in Asda stores. The account, which boasts 373K followers, is a go-to resource for food fans thanks to its regular photo and video postings showcasing the newest food items spotted in supermarkets and other stores up and down the country. Its posts often prompt a flurry of comments from people keen to share their thoughts and opinions on featured items - and the arrival of a Christmas-themed product for sale in July has caused quite a stir. In the caption, New Foods UK penned: 'Giant Cadbury Snowball Bars spotted today at [Asda] [laughing emoji] Happy Christmas!' In the comments section, one person said: 'These are my favourites although it's a little bit early even for me.' Another simply observed: 'Christmas in July for chocolate now.' A third expressed their disdain for Christmas in general: 'Christmas every year is ridiculous. It should be like the Olympics, where we celebrate every 4 years.' Another commented: 'This? In the middle of July?' Another chocolate fan, happy to see the festive sweet treat up for sale, simply added: 'Yes yes yes'. Cadbury is operational in 50 countries across the globe, with some of its most beloved products including the Dairy Milk, its festive Roses selection tins which come out every winter and the iconic Creme Egg, which typically appears in January and is sold until Easter. If you're eager to snap up a bar of Cadbury Mini Snowballs, visit your nearest Asda store.
