GMA Network20 hours ago
The Big Four of 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' offered their duo partners heartwarming messages and promises ahead of the announcement of the Big Winner Duo.
River Joseph admitted that it was 'super unexpected' that he'd be best friends with AZ Martinez.
'I'm so proud of you, how much you've grown, you kept pushing 'til the end and always had faith in God. And me, I'm super proud that I was part of that journey also. I promise that I'll always be a big brother to you, even outside of this house. I'll always be there,' he said.
AZ said that she cannot imagine her PBB journey without River.
'You always want to be there for other people. You want to fill their cups. I'll always be here to fill yours. I promise to always be there when you need someone. I'll always be there to listen to you, like how you listen to me. I'll always be there to have faith in you,' she said.
Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo expressed their gratitude for each other.
'I would say you became my best friend in the house. We were honest with each other and we really protected each other even when we weren't duos,' Brent said. 'Thank you, Mika. Thank you for keeping me in check.'
'I'm always going to be proud of you. I'm always going to love you, proud of you, kung sino ka, kung sino pa 'yung magiging ikaw,' Mika replied.
Meanwhile, Charlie Fleming told Esnyr that he allowed her to be "more comfortable in her story.'
She called Esnyr 'someone I can relate to, someone I can share stories to, someone who can really understand me.'
Esnyr likewise said that he felt validated when Charlie chose him as her final duo.
'Pangako, I will be your ate-kuys dito sa bahay o sa outside world man,' he said.
Will Ashley and River Joseph vowed that they will always be there for each other, even outside the house.
''Yung ma-pa-promise ko lang talaga bro, pagiging magkapatid, hanggang paglabas 'yan bro. Hindi mababago 'yung nabuo natin dito,' Will said.
Ralph in turn told him, 'Lahat ng mga plano natin, hindi lang drawing yan. Isang tawag lang talaga, andun ako. It's the least I could do for someone who supported me throughout this whole 100 plus days. Let me do the same.'
Mika and Brent were named the big winners of the season during the Big Night held at New Frontier Theater on Saturday.
Will Ashley and Ralph De Leon placed second, Charlie Fleming and Esnyr placed third, and AZ Martinez and River Joseph placed fourth. —JCB, GMA Integrated News

Charlie Fleming finally meets Donny Pangilinan

Charlie Fleming has finally met Donny Pangilinan! On TikTok, the former PBB housemate shared some snaps of herself with the Kapamilya actor during the Big Night of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition." To make things funnier, Charlie used the audio of her reaction when Donny entered Bahay ni Kuya as a house guest after she got evicted. "Kuya pinasok mo si Donny na wala na ako?! Bruhhh! I wanted to see him. Tapos parinig ako nang parinig Kuya, 'Donny lang po, ipasok niyo na.' Pinalabas ako tapos pinasok siya?!" she can be heard saying in the audio. Charlie got evicted in the show's second eviction night with her duo Kira Balinger. Charlie then made a big comeback to the show after winning one of the two wildcard slots alongside Ralph De Leon. Charlie and her final duo Esnyr (CharEs) were hailed as the third big placers of the season with the pair of Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca (BreKa) winning the big winner title. Meanwhile, Ralph and his duo partner Will Ashley (RaWi) were named the Second Big Placers, while the duo of AZ Martinez and River Joseph (AZVer) took the title of Fourth Big Placers. —Jade Veronique Yap/MGP, GMA Integrated News

Shuvee Etrata says Anthony Constantino made the first move on her

Shuvee Etrata revealed how she met her fellow Sparkle actor Anthony Constantino, who is currently courting her. On "Your Honor," the former PBB housemate said that although she already had a crush on Anthony, it was the Los Angeles-born model who made the first move. "Si Anthony naman, naging crush ko siya sa series ni Esnyr. Nakita ko lang siya sa TikTok FYP ko. Nakita ko siya sa FYP, then ni-repost ko lang," Shuvee said. "Ang type ko kasi taga TDH [tall, dark and handsome], like Donny Pangilinan is my crush. So, nung nakita ko siya, hala, same, gano'n. So, naging crush ko rin siya," she said of Anthony. Shortly after, Anthony followed her on all her social media platforms and even slid on her DMs. "Pero nung nag-chat siya, malakas loob ko kasi akala ko nasa LA [siya]," she recalled. Looking back on their first conversation, Anthony's opening message was, "Hi, ganda," to which she playfully replied, "Hi, pogi." As things began to blossom between them, Anthony brought Shuvee to church and started learning how to court her the traditional Filipino way. "He's a church guy. Pero kasi liberated siya. So, he needs to learn how to court sa Filipino," she said. "Pero he's pure Filipino. So, the core values are like really Filipino. So, nanligaw siya agad. We've been seeing each other. Tapos, 'yun na 'yung nanligaw na siya." Shuvee said that their courtship began before she entered Bahay ni Kuya. The Island Ate ng Cebu also shared that Anthony has already met her parents. When asked if she had taught Anthony how to court in the traditional Filipino way, the Kapuso actress said she didn't. "Ayan ang ayaw kong gawin. I can never teach a man how to become a man," she said. Shuvee and her duo Klarisse de Guzman were the last housemates to get evicted by public voting. When she returned to the outside world, Anthony was among those who welcomed her and even gave her a bouquet of flowers. Shuvee also took to Instagram to proudly show off Anthony, playfully using her signature "TDH" line—short for "tall, dark, and handsome"—a phrase she used to describe house guest Donny Pangilinan. —Jade Veronique Yap/MGP, GMA Integrated News

Will Ashley bids emotional farewell to 'Pinoy Big Brother': 'I'm grateful for y'all!'

After more than four months of challenges, growth, and heartfelt moments inside the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition," Will Ashley has officially stepped back into the outside world as the second Big Placer, alongside his duo, Ralph De Leon. In his first Instagram post back into the outside world, the Sparkle star thanked everyone who stood by him during his journey inside the PBB house. "My journey inside the house was rough. I went through a lot of ups and downs. But thank God, I managed to get through everything," he wrote. Will said he owes much of his strength to the other 19 housemates with whom he shared the experience. "Sobrang pasasalamat sa mga housemates na talagang minahal at sinuportahan ako. I'm grateful for y'all!" he said. He also expressed his deep gratitude to the PBB fans who supported him throughout, even though he couldn't see or hear them while inside the house. "Napakalaking parte ninyo sa aking journey. Kayo ang dahilan bakit nilaban ko ang hamon na ito," he said. "Maraming salamat din po sa pagmamahal n'yo sa amin ni [Ralph], ang laban po na ito ay para sa inyo," he added. Though his PBB journey has ended, Will made it clear that this is just the beginning of a new chapter. "Umpisa pa lang po ito. Lalaban tayo," he concluded. Meanwhile, Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo emerged as the big winner of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition," the first duo to share the title in the show's history. "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" is getting a second season later this year. The 20 housemates of the first edition are also set to reunite at an event titled "The Big ColLOVE" happening on August 10, 8 p.m., at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. More details, including ticket prices, will be revealed soon. —Hermes Joy Tunac/MGP, GMA Integrated News
