Fact check: Social media channel of migrant's journey posts AI-generated videos
The videos on the channel appear to be AI-generated.
The facts
On four days between June 9 and June 13, the channel 'migrantvlog' uploaded 22 videos to the social media platform.
At the time of writing, the most-watched video had around 374,000 views on the platform. In total, five of the videos had more than 100,000 views. The channel had 1,647 followers and more than 11,000 likes.
Comments on the videos show some viewers realised that the videos are AI-generated. However, others seemed to be reacting as if they are real.
What evidence is there that the videos are AI?
There is clear evidence of AI generation in many of the videos. Most tellingly, several of the videos have watermarks for Veo – an AI video generation tool.
One video posted with the caption '5 star meorot we going' includes a section at around seven seconds where a man on the right of the frame seems to momentarily lose his arm. This video is one of several with a Veo watermark. The watermark appears in the bottom-right corner, where it might be obscured from some viewers by TikTok's display icons.
Between that video and another posted later the same day, the main protagonist's voice seems to change. The second video includes scrambled text on the front of a building, a hallmark sign of AI. At around five seconds, a man appears to pull a large camera out of his crotch, while at seven seconds a person sat in a chair appears to become translucent.
Another video shows a protest with men waving flags. The man behind the right shoulder of the person filming moves his arm in an unnatural way and the flag in his hand seems to appear and disappear.
A video shows a man running with a group while holding a burning Union flag. The flag is on fire, however the material does not appear to be blackening, and the way the men behind the protagonist interact seems almost ghost-like as they move through each other in unnatural ways.
In a video in which the man says 'thank you British taxpayers for feeding us this good food', a fork can be seen appearing seemingly out of thin air in the background while a man appears to pass a plate through his own hand.

'Bare feet should be banned' says disgusted flight attendant who found pile of toenail clippings under seat
A Connecticut flight attendant who shares her life on social media has revealed one of the most disgusting things she's seen during her service - a pile of toenail clippings. Photographing the unsightly mess underneath an aircraft seat, Leanna Coy wrote: 'On today's episode of Summer are toenails. A passenger clipped their toenails midflight and left them.' The TikToker (@leannacoy) added: 'If I become president one day I'm making bare feet illegal.' The upload attracted more than 10,000 views and many TikTok users chimed in to share their thoughts in the comments. One quipped: 'OH MY GOD NO YOURE JOKING.' 'Now why would you show me that??' another added, followed by crying face emojis. Someone else agreed with Leanna and joked: 'Straight to jail!' 'The poor people sitting next to them,' one person said. Another flight attendant shared two forms of common passenger behavior that 'send her over the edge.' Dallas-based air hostess Cher Killough, who has worked in the industry for six years, took to TikTo k to highlight disruptive in-flight habits that often leave her 'clenching' her jaw. Sharing a video to her page, @cherdallas, the cabin crew membert noted she becomes frustrated when a passenger ignores crucial safety instructions because a previous flight attendant either turned a blind eye or allowed them to do so. She added: 'Well, the last flight attendant wasn't doing her job. I have to subtly argue and just explain the reason - which normally I'm fine with doing - but if I'm already having a long day, this will have me in the galley begging God for some strength.' Cher then revealed her second in-flight gripe: passengers who continue to 'pop open' the bins after she informed them 'several times' they are full and cannot be used. She explained: 'When the bins are full and I've closed it, somebody pops it open after I've said: "If it's closed, it's full," like seven times... they pop it open and they leave it open.'

Woman left mortified as she's forced to get off Alton Towers rollercoaster after failing to get the safety bar over her 'big bust'
A woman has claimed that she was unable to ride on a popular rollercoaster at Alton Towers because she is 'big busted'. UK-based Nya visited the theme park in Staffordshire earlier this month but said the seat sizes quickly 'humbled' her. Taking to TikTok, she explained that the first ride she queued up for was Nemesis, a rollercoaster that travels at high speeds. However, when she got to her seat, after queuing for over an hour, she found that the bar wouldn't go over her breasts. She said, 'Guys, the embarrassment that I've just felt sitting on Nemesis and not being able to get on because I'm big. 'If you want to go on Nemesis and you've got breasts, if you're big busted, don't even think about it. 'I sat in, but it would not go over my boobs, like he was pushing, he was pushing, I said, 'It's not going to go over my t***'. So, the first ride, I didn't go on, and I waited. 'I was in that queue for an hour and half, can you imagine, but anyway,' she concluded. MailOnline has contacted Alton Towers for comment. Nya isn't the only one, and others took to the comment section to share similar experiences. One wrote, 'I've lost 12 stone and still refuse to go on the specific fair ride that this happened to me on.' A second added, 'They need to put a test seat at the front before people get in the queue, to avoid waiting in the line unknowingly of what the situation might be. 'I remember something similar happened to my friend when we went on a college trip too.' 'I went Alton Towers last year after years and knew there would be rides I wouldn't get on, [I] was gutted but it is what it is,' said another. A fourth added, 'Oh girlie, nothing humbles you more than the staff at Alton towers! They did the same to me!' It comes after a woman revealed her outrage at being told to 'cover up' after she visited her local Wetherspoons pub in gym wear. Georgia Toomey went to meet her boyfriend at The Tollemache Inn in Grantham, Lincolnshire, after finishing a workout at the gym. However, the 23-year-old said she was 'looked up and down' by a female staff member and told to zip up her top to conceal her blue sports bra because it was 'a family friendly pub.' The cleaner said she and her partner then went to the beer garden planning to order from the app - but left after they claimed the same worker kept coming outside to look at them. Georgia, who was wearing Gymshark cycling shorts and a matching sports bra, which cost £38 each, said, 'We walked in and I was wearing a gym set, I thought, 'We're only going to Spoons, I don't have to change'.' 'But this woman looked me up and down and said I had to zip my top up. She said it was a family-friendly pub. 'I think it's ridiculous. It's only sports wear and you shouldn't feel like you can't wear it. 'I can wear it in the gym, so why can't I wear it in Wetherspoons? She just wanted me to do it up, which I think is stupid. 'If it was somewhere in London, I would get it - but it's not, it's Spoons in Grantham,' she added. Viewers took to the comment section to share their thoughts on Nya's experience - and revealed that she wasn't alone 'You should be able to wear what you want and shouldn't be sexualised in gym wear. 'I would get it if it was a lacy bra or something, but it's not. She looked me up and down like a piece of dirt. It makes me feel like I should be covering up, but I shouldn't be. 'It's not like I'm big-chested, either - I was showing a bit of cleavage, but that's it. I'm sure girls have worn much more revealing stuff in there. She added: 'It's other people's problem if they are getting affected by a bit of cleavage.' After being told to cover up, Georgia said she and her boyfriend went out to the beer garden, where nobody else was sitting. However, they eventually opted to leave the pub after growing frustrated when, they say, the staff member kept coming out to 'check she was covered up.' Georgia complained to the pub but said they 'lied' by telling her she had been 'refused service and asked to leave', which she claimed did not happen. She added, 'We were sat outside and were going to order on the app, but the woman from the bar, who was about 40 or 50, kept coming outside and looking. 'It made me feel really embarrassed and insecure. We didn't feel comfortable, so we left. But the woman wrote and said she threw us out and wasn't going to serve us, which never happened. 'When I looked online it said you're allowed sports wear.' Georgia took to social media to share her experience and said a man replied saying he and his friends had been in the same pub topless with no issues before. In an email reply to her, the pub chain said, 'Most of our pubs are family environments, so we ask our customers to dress appropriately and in a way which would not cause offence. 'All customers must be fully clothed throughout their visit. The company does not permit the removal of shirts or footwear. 'In addition, some pubs operate specific dress codes at all or certain times. I appreciate that you were not satisfied by the way in which the incident was handled. 'Having discussed your feedback with the pub's manager, I understand that you were refused service and were asked to leave.' However in a statement, the pub backtracked and agreed that Georgia had not been asked to leave and she was 'very welcome to return'. Wetherspoon spokesman Eddie Gershon said, 'It's always a matter of fine judgement for pub managers where sportswear is concerned. 'In this case, the customer was asked if she would mind zipping up her gym top, to which she kindly agreed. She was not asked to leave and is very welcome to return to the pub in the future.'

Bishop in dressing gown tells choir to stop 'terrible racket' and leave church
A grumpy bishop in a dressing gown and bare feet told a choir in London to stop their 'terrible racket' and get out of his church. Jonathan Baker, the Bishop of Fulham, turned up as City Academy Voices were nearing the end of their concert, grabbed a microphone and demanded the performers and 300-strong audience leave. The bishop, who had also switched the lights off, told those gathered at St Andrew's Church in Holborn: 'You are in my house. It's gone past 10pm and this is a terrible racket.' As murmurs of disbelief were heard, he repeated: 'Goodnight. You are in my house – can you leave it now please. Thank you, it's over.' The incident was filmed and shared on social media, and has now had more than 400,000 views. After the bishop moved away from the stage, a church employee took themicrophone and asked the crowd to leave quietly because 'this is a residential home'. She was met with boos and jeers. According to a post under the video on TikTok, the concert was supposed to finish at 10pm and overran slightly due to technical issues. However the space was booked till 11pm. @Katiegeek wrote: 'We've sang here as a choir numerous times before with no problem! 'We had the space booked until 11pm – there was no earlier curfew of any kind. The concert should have finished by 10 (given our running order) but tech issues meant we were a little later. 'BUT we had every contractual right to still be there AND still be singing!! 'He interrupted in the middle of our last number – turning the lights off and getting on the stage in his dressing gown and barefoot! 'There were numerous people trying to talk to him offstage so he will have been made aware that we only had a few minutes left – and that we had every right to still be there.' She said there were 300 people in the audience who had all paid £20 each to be there. In the end, choir, who sing classical, choral, musical theatre and pop, walked out while singing Abba's 'Dancing Queen'. '(It) was supposed to be our encore so we started singing that on the way out – to try and leave the concert on a better note after the utterly BIZARRE behaviour of the interrupting bishop!!!' Benedict Collins, who was in the audience with his ten-year-old daughter, said he initially thought the interruption was a staged joke. 'The church willingly rents out the premises for performances, for money,' he told Sky News. 'They can hardly be surprised if they take bookings for concerts and there is music in the hall.' The choir's director, Leigh Stanford Thompson, described the incident as 'bizarre' and said the choir also thought at first it was a 'comedy act'. 'We all went out to the pub afterwards and took it all in. Everyone was in astonishment really,' he told the Guardian. More Trending 'I do find it funny. I'm not particularly upset. We had a really good concert but I think it's a real shame that we didn't get a chance to finish. 'But now looking back, what a way to go out.' One member of the choir said the bishop's comment about the singing being a 'racket' did not sit well because 'I think we produce a beautiful sound'. A diocese of London spokesman told the Guardian: 'Bishop Jonathan reached out to the organisers on Saturday to apologise for his late-night appearance at the concert, which he now understands had overrun due to earlier technical difficulties.'
