The Colombia international has 71 senior caps for his country and has been playing in Europe since 2016.
After a spell at Ajax, he was sold to Tottenham Hotspur for €42m in 2017, then switched to Galatasaray in September 2023 for €9.5m.
Last season, Sanchez made 44 official matches for Galatasaray, also contributing five goals and two assists from defence.
Como have been one of the biggest spenders in the Serie A window so far this summer, as they wish to consolidate their top flight status and give coach Cesc Fabregas a stronger squad.

The iconic head coach stepped down after 17 seasons at Alabama, and he quickly found a new gig on "College GameDay." Yet Finebaum is already conjuring scenarios in which Saban returns to a football sideline. The ESPN analyst instead pitched a shift to the NFL, calling the Miami Dolphins the "perfect job" for the Florida resident.
