Boy, 6, has genitals cut off and left for dead in ditch after 'Satanic ritual'
A six year old boy was left for dead, covered in blood and with his genitals mutilated in what is feared to be a barbaric act of voodoo or Satanism.
The young boy was discovered in a ditch, pepper-sprayed, castrated, and crying out in agony amidst the South African bush. Locals were drawn to his desperate screams and found him smeared in his own blood, initially thinking he had been stabbed, only to uncover the gruesome truth of his castration.
He was found near a gold mine in the Blue Skye informal settlement, barely alive from the severe blood loss, as reported by The Mail Online. The community of Boksburg in Gauteng Province has been left reeling from the attack, with parents gripped by fear for their own children's safety.
One terrified resident, who remained anonymous due to fear of retaliation, expressed their horror: "Who would do such a thing to such a little boy – it really is the cruellest of the cruel. To pepper spray the little boy is bad enough but to cut off his genitals is just barbaric and that kid will have mental issues for the rest of his life."
Another local voiced fears over the motive: "The rumours are it is Satanism or taking body parts for a voodoo ritual but this little boy will now not be able to have children ever.", reports the Mirror US.
Local resident Chantel Naude expressed her fears, saying: "I am considering moving out of the area as we feel unsafe as I have boys as well and don't want them attacked as well. I know the boy and he is often around looking for a bit of food or a bit of loose change and he gets by and is always smiling and is always polite.
"He was found out in an overgrown field with his genitals missing and unable to see properly due to the pepper spray which is dreadfully painful on its own."
Despite inquiries, the emergency service did not confirm if both his penis and testes were removed. Meanwhile, Colonel Matshedeso Mbele from Boksburg South African Police Station confirmed an investigation into attempted murder is underway.
Colonel Mbele opted not to comment on the ghastly injuries due to their sensitive nature and stated it is still unknown whether adults or older children are responsible for the attack.
She further mentioned the assault took place on March 1, with paramedics swiftly attending the scene to take the victim to hospital; thankfully, he is now reported to be in a stable condition.

What happened to Amy Bradley's former dance partner Alister 'Yellow' Douglas?
A new Netflix documentary explores the disappearance of Amy Bradley from a cruise ship in 1998 and her last known dance partner Alister 'Yellow' Douglas Almost three decades ago, a young woman vanished without a trace from a cruise ship while on holiday with her family, and the search for her continues to this day. A new Netflix documentary delves into the mysterious disappearance of 23 year old Amy Bradley from Royal Caribbean's Rhapsody of the Seas in 1998, exploring various theories about her fate, ranging from falling overboard to being trafficked. The three-part documentary reveals that she was last seen with cruise ship entertainer Alister Douglas - nicknamed 'Yellow' due to his dyed hair - on the night she went missing. The pair were spotted dancing together late into the night at the onboard nightclub. Her father last saw her resting on the balcony of their shared cabin, reports the Mirror US. The documentary synopsis states: "On March 23, 1998, 23-year-old Amy Bradley disappears without a trace from the cruise ship she and her family were vacationing on. "Despite extensive searches of the ship, Amy is nowhere to be found and the cruise has already docked in their next port, Curaçao, allowing 2,400 passengers to disembark and explore the island, potentially enabling Amy to blend into the crowd. "As the years roll by, possible sightings of Amy emerge from various locations and multiple sources. Is it really her? Was this a tragic accident or a crime? - anything is conceivable. But for Amy's family - only one thing matters: bringing their daughter home alive." What became of Alister Douglas? Alister was interrogated by the FBI following Amy's disappearance and willingly took a lie detector test. He was let go without any charges, as there was no evidence to suggest he was involved in her disappearance. Despite being absolved of any blame, his name is frequently mentioned on online forums discussing the Amy Bradley case, as he was one of the last people to see her on the ship. The musician's daughter even features in the documentary, calling him on camera to question him about what he knew about the missing holidaymaker. He maintains that he has no idea what happened to her. Where is Alister Douglas now? Since being questioned about Amy's disappearance, Alister has kept a low profile. However, in October 2024, true crime investigator James Renner located Alister in Grenada and uploaded an interview with him on his YouTube channel True Crime This Week. He posted on Facebook: "This trip to Grenada was a long shot, hail-Mary play, but sometimes things work out. I have the first interview in 20 years with Alister Douglas aka 'Yellow'." Alister reportedly now works as an exorcist on the island while continuing his music career. He insists he had nothing to do with Amy Bradley's disappearance.

Netflix air heartbreaking call about Amy Bradley's final moments before she disappeared
Amy Bradley went missing without a trace in 1998 while on a Caribbean cruise with her family, and her disappearance is the subject of a new Netflix documentary In 1998, a young woman's disappearance on a cruise ship sparked an enduring mystery, now the focus of a gripping new Netflix documentary aiming to rekindle public intrigue. Amy Bradley Is Missing launched on Netflix delving into the perplexing circumstances surrounding the 23 year old's enigmatic disappearance. The documentary features footage of her last known moments, dancing in the ship's nightclub with a cruise entertainer before returning to her cabin. Her final sighting was by her father on their cabin's balcony in the early morning; he later woke to find her missing, and she has not been found since. Alister 'Yellow' Douglas, a member of the cruise band who was one of the last to see her that night and shared a dance with her, was interviewed by the FBI. Despite no evidence implicating him in Amy's vanishing, and voluntarily taking a lie detector test to prove his innocence, the mystery remains unsolved. His daughter Amica expressed the frustration of the case being a "puzzle you can't put together" and sought clarity on the events. She recounted a significant argument between her parents post-cruise and, in a dramatic moment in the Netflix series, she confronts her father on camera, reports the Mirror US. During the call, she implores, "I would wish that you put yourself in my shoe and understand how I feel about this," seeking empathy for her quest for answers. Alister responds: "Amica, they brought the FBI on immediately. And then he said to me that they're trying to find this girl that I was seen dancing with her. Everybody that had anything to do with cleaning her room, serving her drinks, we were grounded. "When they realised nothing was involved, we continued to work. And I continued to work on the cruise ship until two years later." Following Amy's disappearance, numerous unverified sightings emerged, including allegations she was spotted with someone matching Alister's description. Probing deeper, Amica questioned: "Why am I hearing that you were seen on the beach with her like months later?" Alister replied: "Which beach they saw me on? Because I don't like beaches. Amica, we danced at the club, like I danced with many people at the club. I did nothing... I'm sitting there, my name was called, I'm being questioned about something I don't know." Amica then confessed: "It's hard to hold this conversation with you because you get upset," before putting the question to her father: "If this happened to me, how would you feel?" Alister revealed: "If you were missing I'd do everything in my power to find out where you are. I understand that her family is trying to find her all these years and I'm in sympathy with that but I had nothing to do with that, nothing at all," before ending the call.
