Proposed flyover set to improve city connectivity

Prayagraj: In a major infrastructural development under the Smart City initiative, a new flyover is set to be constructed on Stanley Road to streamline traffic movement in the city. Spanning approximately 1,700 metres, this four-lane flyover will be the longest in the Prayagraj division. The project, which will cost over Rs 125 crore, aims to decongest some of the city's busiest intersections and improve overall connectivity. As per the initial proposal, the flyover will start near Kalash crossing (the starting point of the six-lane bridge over the Ganga) and extend up to Lok Seva Aayog crossing. Its strategic alignment will connect directly to the six-lane bridge, providing a seamless route for vehicles arriving from Lucknow and Ayodhya to reach Maharshi Bharadwaj (Balson) crossing. Among other benefits for commuters, particularly the population residing in Talirganj and Phaphamau, along with those using the under-construction bridge over the river Ganga, this will significantly reduce pressure on Lala Lajpat Rai Road. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like "밤새 나던 종아리 쥐가 사라졌어요!', 막힌 혈관 찌꺼기 싹~ 청소한 "이것.' 대박이네!! 카이스트 건강비결 더 알아보기 Undo This is one of the city's major bottlenecks, where frequent traffic jams have been a persistent issue, especially near the blood bank, police reserved lines and Muir Hall. According to project director from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Mohammad Nusratullah Khan, the proposal is being finalised, and the process of preparing a Detailed Project Report (DPR) will commence shortly. The ministry has already conducted two on-ground inspections of the proposed route. The construction is expected to take between two to two and a half years. During this period, Stanley Road will also be widened to accommodate increased vehicular load. Officials earlier planned to begin the project ahead of the Maha Kumbh, but due to time constraints, it was postponed. Once completed, the flyover is expected to benefit over 50,000 daily commuters.

Ali arrived at the venue with his wife, Richa Chadha. The couple happily posed for the shutterbugs. Sara was spotted arriving at the screening with her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan. Sara looked elegant in a white ethnic suit. Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan, too, attended the screening. They both were happy to meet each. Look at their reunion after 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' promotions. Metro…In Dino | Song - Qayde Se The trailer for Dino was released last month. The trailer gave us a sneak peek into the love stories of the couples--Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur, Konkona Sen Sharma and Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta. It follows four different love stories of couples--young, old, and middle-aged--living in a metro and serves as the spiritual sequel to Anurag Basu's 2007 film Life in a... Metro. Recently, in an interview with ANI, Konkona opened up about her experience working in the film. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 5 Books Warren Buffett Wants You to Read In 2025 Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo She said, " Dino is quite different from Life in a Metro, because Life in a Metro was made 17-18 years ago. We were younger back then, so the story was different. And I feel lucky to work with Mr. Pankaj Tripathi." "It was a lot of fun. Actually, I wasn't sure what to expect because, even though both of us have been working for so long, we hadn't worked together before. But he is very popular, and I've seen his work--I like it a lot. So, I was happy to be working with him. On the first day, I think we were both a little shy and formal. Anurag always says this very funnily: 'On the first day, we were both a little shy, a little formal. Mr. Pankaj used to say "Namaste" and all that. I'm also a bit like that--kind of old-fashioned. But we quickly became comfortable with each other," she added. The movie will be released in theatres this Friday.

Criminal Justice season 4 ending leaves viewers stunned: The twist no one saw coming sparks storm of reactions online

If there's one thing the finale of Criminal Justice Season 4 proved, it's that no one really saw it coming. Released a day earlier than usual on July 3, the much-anticipated climax of the legal thriller took viewers on an emotional rollercoaster, leaving them stunned and, quite literally, speechless. What followed was a full-blown internet meltdown — from breathless praise to meme explosions, the finale became an instant sensation. Veteran lawyer Madhav Mishra, played with effortless gravitas by Pankaj Tripathi , returns to the courtroom battlefield in what is arguably his most morally complicated case yet. As the plot unfolds, viewers are drawn into the murky depths of a family's breakdown, where love, guilt, illness, and justice collide in heartbreaking ways. The show's gripping narrative, centred around the murder of nurse Roshni Saluja, reveals not just a legal puzzle but an emotional conundrum that tests every character involved. — kush1724 (@kush1724) A Finale That Left Everyone Guessing; and Guessing Wrong Social media has erupted in unison over the shocking final twist — a revelation that not only upended the murder mystery but challenged notions of justice and sacrifice. "Mind blown," "Did NOT see that coming," and "Best Indian thriller ever" were just some of the hundreds of reactions pouring in across Twitter (now X), Reddit, and Instagram. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Buy One, Get One Free, Up To 50% Discount, Expiring Soon Original Adidas Shop Now Undo — wakil_saheeba (@wakil_saheeba) — Shuk_law_ (@Shuk_law_) And then came the memes — thousands of them. From 'MIND BLOWN' GIFs to netizens captioning Madhav Mishra's moral dilemma with existential humour, the finale has given meme-makers enough content to last till the next season drops. — jaisantoshhhhh (@jaisantoshhhhh) — OfficialAayushi (@OfficialAayushi) A Legacy of Twists The Criminal Justice franchise has earned its stripes over the years with layered storytelling and rich performances. While previous seasons featured names like Vikrant Massey, Kirti Kulhari, and Jackie Shroff, this time it's the emotional depth of Surveen Chawla and Zeeshan Ayyub's performances that tugged at the audience's heartstrings. In conversation with India Today, Pankaj Tripathi had joked that the series changed his life — and for fans, this season changed their expectations. The creators pulled off a finale that dared to go beyond a whodunit, opting instead for a why-did-they-do-it and who-will-live-with-it narrative arc. While the show draws no hard conclusions on guilt, it does leave the viewer grappling with human fragility, love, and justice. The decision by Madhav Mishra in the closing moments not only redefines his character but adds philosophical weight to the entire season. It's less about courtroom wins and more about moral reckoning.
