Orlando Bloom's Complete Dating History: from Selena Gomez to Katy Perry
These two were in a super low key relationship for several years before eventually parting ways. Though, not so low key that their rep didn't issue a formal statement during their breakup! As they put it to People, "They did decide to take some time apart due to their upcoming work schedule, and they remain very close. It was a mutual decision."
Kate spoke about the relationship to Vogue (via the Daily Mail), saying "Orlando and I met when we were kids. Blue Crush hadn't come out. Lord of the Rings hadn't come out. He was the first big heartbreak. First love—you feel like it's the be-all and end-all. To put as little pressure on the relationship you're in is very important. I regret that it was too intense for both of us."
This was just a rumored hookup, but E! News did speak to a source who said they were spotted getting cozy at Orlando's 30th birthday party. Per an eye witness "He couldn't keep his hands off of her. He would just keep grabbing her and kissing her. It was very sweet."
Anyway, here's a pic of Orlando and Penélope in 2007 (with Leonardo DiCaprio, randomly).
Orlando and Miranda met in late 2007 and got engaged in June 2010. They married just one month later in July, and in August Miranda revealed that she was pregnant. The couple welcomed their son Flynn in January 2011 and parted ways two years later—in Fall 2013. Orlando's rep issued a statement at the time, saying "Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family."
For what it's worth, they seem to get along great as co-parents!
Katy and Orlando got flirty at the 2016 Golden Globes party and started dating shortly after. Proof:
But alas, they split a year later in February 2017 and their reps issued a joint statement to People, saying "Before rumors or falsifications get out of hand, we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time."
For what it's worth, Katy made it clear that things were amicable:
Gonna rewind real fast. Before Katy and Orlando split in 2017, multiple outlets reported that Selena and Orlando had hooked up to make Miranda Kerr and Justin Bieber jealous after they were spotted flirting at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. But Katy called the reports "conspiracy theories" and posted this:
Which Sel retweeted:
There were brief reports that Orlando was dating Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev in 2017, though a People source said "It's super casual." So casual, in fact, that things fully fizzled out and everyone forgot about it.
Here's a blurry pic of them out and about with friends that month, though!
Katy and Orly got back together in early 2018, and by March a source told People that "They are dating but not necessarily putting a label on it. They are not girlfriend and boyfriend. They do seem very happy together though."
The pair ended up getting engaged on Valentine's Day 2019...
...and then Katy announced that she was pregnant in March 2020. She and Orlando went on to welcome their daughter Daisy Dove!
Things kept trucking along until 2025, when Orlando and Katy hit a rough patch. Their last public appearance together was at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March:
After weeks of speculation, Us Weekly finally confirmed their split in June, speaking to a source who said "Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable. It's not contentious at the moment. Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life."
The insider added that the breakup was "a long time coming" since things "have been tense for months," and they've been "living apart since Katy has been on tour."
That brings us up to date, but stay tuned...

Orlando Bloom, Katy Perry breakup: Couple to focus on co-parenting daughter Daisy
Hollywood power couple Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, who'd been sparking speculation about their yearslong romance in recent weeks, has broken up. Representatives for Perry and Bloom, who have been engaged for six years, confirmed their separation in a statement to USA TODAY on July 3. "Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry's relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting," the statement read. "They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect," the statement from their representatives continued. Us Weekly was first to report. The announcement comes after previous reports and media speculation that Perry, 40, and Bloom, 48, who share 4-year-old daughter Daisy Dove, had ended their nine-year relationship. People and Us Weekly reported in June that the couple had allegedly ended their engagement. Perry and Bloom began dating in 2016, briefly split in 2017 and got engaged in February 2019. They welcomed daughter Daisy in 2020. Bloom raised eyebrows in late June when he attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding in Italy alone. The "Lord of the Rings" alum, donning a crisp white button-down and khaki slacks, flashed a peace sign to onlookers as he left the Gritti Palace Hotel in Venice via boat. Perry had a slate of four Lifetimes Tour concerts in Adelaide, Australia, during Bezos and Sánchez's wedding weekend. After the celebrity nuptials wrapped, Bloom posted some inspirational quotes on his Instagram Story on June 30. In the first slide, Bloom re-posted a translated quote from the Buddha that read, "Each day is a new beginning. What we do today is what matters most." In a follow-up post, Bloom typed up a "daily encouragement by Daisaku Ikeda," a prominent Japanese religious figure and Buddhist: "The important thing is to take that first step. Bravely overcoming one small fear gives you the courage to take on the next." Contributing: KiMi Robinson, USA TODAY

Emma Watson Seen on Painting in the Park Date With New Rumored Love Interest
THE RUNDOWN On Tuesday, July 1, Emma Watson was seen in an Oxford park sitting beside a rumored new love interest on what looked like a 'cute date,' according to onlookers speaking with the Daily Mail. It was an idyllic scene at Port Meadow country park and the pair sat by the side of a lake, working on small paintings. Watson was wearing a green summer dress with a floral white print and scalloped short sleeves. Her companion wore khaki shorts and a white T-shirt with a graphic blue-and-white flower print on the back. They both had sunglasses up on their heads and had bags with snacks and water surrounding them. A local student named Judie told the publication, 'I saw them for like 40 minutes. They were having a general chat and making each other laugh, which was cute,' adding, 'They were painting each other and eating together. It was just a really cute date. It looked successful as they were laughing a lot, which was nice to see.' Watson was most recently linked to Oxford student Kieran Brown in 2024, a year after splitting up from her previous boyfriend, Brandon Green. Watson most likely met Brown during her studies at Oxford, where she has been working part-time on a Master's degree. Green is the son of business mogul Sir Philip, and they broke up in 2023. There has been no report on the end of Watson's relationship with Brown, however. The Harry Potter star has been taking a hiatus from acting as she pursues her studies and takes on roles behind the camera, as a director. In 2023, she told British Vogue, 'Going into my 30s, I was in this moment of real change and [thinking] 'What is going on?' And it was someone else who said to me, 'Oh, this is normal. You're going through your Saturn return.' [I was] like, 'What is that and why has no one warned me?!' I've spoken to so many women and so many of my friends who said, 'Oh, yeah, between 28 and, like, 30, 31, 32, that kind of age, everything shifted.' ' She continued, 'Because I'm in a career that moves very quickly, the decision to take time to do these things felt like a very big decision. [Choosing] to go back and write and study and get behind the camera was terrifying for me because I'd never done it before. I had always been in front of the camera; I'd always been an actor.' Watson added, 'I'm just so glad that I did [step away from acting] because I have this feeling of having my own voice and creative space and sovereignty in some way that I don't think I did before–more autonomy.'
