
Salameh receives invitation from Serbian Ambassador to participate in youth cultural exhibition
NNA - Minister of Culture, Dr. Ghassan Salaméh, on Wednesday received in his office at the National Library in Sanayeh, Serbian Ambassador to Lebanon, Milan Trojanović, accompanied by the Minister-Consultant at the Embassy, Sasa Ojdani, who came on a protocol visit to congratulate Minister Salameh on assuming his ministerial duties.
Discussions reportedly touched on the general situation, bilateral relations between the two countries, and the possibility of Lebanon's participation in the 2027 Expo in the capital, Belgrade.
On emerging, Ambassador Trojanović described the meeting with the Minister as fruitful, wishing him success in his ministerial duties.
The Serbian Ambassador added: "I handed the Minister an invitation for Lebanon's participation in a cultural exhibition on youth and artificial intelligence, which will host cultural, folkloric, and sports events and numerous activities for participating countries. We look forward to further cooperation between our two countries."

Israeli interception missile lands in south Lebanon

Israeli Enemy Kidnaps Lebanese Fisherman
The Israeli occupation army renewed on Wednesday its violation of Lebanese sovereignty and the ceasefire agreement, including UN Resolution 1701. Israeli naval forces kidnapped a Lebanese fisherman in Lebanon's territorial waters on Wednesday, local media said. Israeli gunboats breached Lebanon's maritime boundaries and surrounded a fishing vessel carrying two individuals near Naqoura, the Lebanese state news agency NNA reported. One of the fishermen was held by Israeli occupation forces and transported to 'Israel', while the second was let free, NNA said. According to NNA, the second fisherman was questioned by the Lebanese military intelligence before being released. National News Agency also reported that Israeli enemy forces fired machine gun bursts towards the outskirts of the town of Shebaa. An Israeli glider dropped bombs on a bulldozer in Yaroun town, South Lebanon. A Zionist drone, furthermore, flew intensively over Beirut's Dahieh.
