I end up with me time when it rains: Twinkle Arora
actress Twinkle Arora has an emotional connection with the
monsoon
. 'I love the rains,' she says, adding, 'My idea of enjoying the rains is- a warm cup of coffee in one hand, a book in the other, and a scenic view in front.
If I have company, wonderful, but even if I'm alone, I enjoy being by myself in a cozy café, immersed in a book while the rain taps on the windows.
'
The actress who is doing the OTT show Jhanak with Arjit Taneja, has also debuted into Punjabi films. 'Being from North India, the concept of geri, is close to our hearts. And I love going on a geri in the rain. I usually end up having a me-time when it's raining.'
Reflecting on her breakthrough in
Udaariyaan
, Twinkle acknowledges how the show became more than just a career milestone.
'The show didn't just put me on the map, it also initiated a spiritual transformation. I evolved and I'm truly grateful for it to my character, Nehmat. But yes, it also brings the pressure of choosing the right next step.'
Commenting on the difference between films and TV as mediums, Twinkle says, 'Films are way different than TV. In TV you work every day and give short bursts of emotions during the whole day and learn to handle pressure. Movies are detailed and take longer. I love both mediums and I want to test my craft in every medium, OTT, Hindi, and Hollywood.'

Tanishk Bagchi denies Saiyaara track being copied from One Direction, Jubin Nautiyal
The title track of 'Saiyaara' is bringing joy not just to audiences with its melody and lyrics, but also to the makers, as it climbs the global charts. The Tanishk Bagchi-composed song currently sits at #4 on Spotify's Top Global chart, and recently topped the Viral Top 50 the growing adulation, the team has also faced criticism for parts of the tune sounding similar to One Direction's 'Night Changes' and Jubin Nautiyal's 'Humnava Mere'. In an exclusive chat with India Today, Tanishk denied these I do, people will have something to say because they don't have [anything better to do]. They keep on looking for opportunities to put me down. But ultimately, the song will go wherever it's destined to, and that's what's happening with Saiyaara too. As for the comparisons, if you look at the melody, the chords are the same. The A minor scale has just about 3-4 chords but every melody has a different soul. That doesn't mean that anything was stolen. Even if you can do that, it's really difficult to make it a hit," he shared. Bagchi further shared, "All said and done, we didn't steal anything. The similarities are fine, it can happen, but it's not like we did it on purpose. Idhar se utha ke udhar nahi kiya (we didn't pick and add anything). We worked on the emotion of the song, and that worked. That's the magic of the track 'Saiyaara'."The music composer discussed the song's global popularity, sharing that while this was something he had always dreamt about, he didn't know it would surpass his expectations."The best thing is that it's an original Hindi song, a pure Hindi song. There is no collaboration with foreign artists; everyone associated is home-grown, so that's a big achievement for me. I did have an intuition that this could go viral, but I never expected it to top global charts. I think it's purely the hard work on the song and the pure intention that worked in its favour," he added that his team and even his family, including his mother and sister, are following the charts continuously and keeping him updated about the song's Bagchi further shared that he's always looked at as someone who only does recreation, and hence 'Saiyaara's' success will also help me break out of that mould. "People do come to me saying only I can do the recreation, and I know I will have to indulge it. I can't say no to everything, even though it only gets me abused. But this song has proved that I can also give an original superhit too. The issue is that these opportunities don't come every day. If I get enough songs like Saiyaara, then there would be no need to do recreation. But till then, I have to also survive," he shared.'Saiyaara' is currently running in theatres. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film features Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday in the lead roles.- EndsYou May Also Like

'War 2': Writer Shridhar Raghavan delves into how spy oath will carry forward across YRF spy movies
'War 2' features a patriotic spy oath linking characters across the YRF Spy Universe. The oath, shown in the trailer, sets a serious tone without spoilers. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani, the film releases August 14, 2025, in multiple languages. 'War 2' is coming out in a few weeks, and its new trailer has excited fans with amazing action scenes and a fierce battle between Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR . Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the movie is part of the YRF Spy Universe and looks like it will be an exciting addition to the series. But besides the action, the trailer's beginning shows something deeper and more meaningful. Creation and purpose of spy oath in 'War 2' Writer Shridhar Raghavan said that the first 50 seconds of the trailer were made on purpose to show a special and emotional promise by the two main characters. The promise looks like a swearing-in ceremony and was meant to give the trailer a serious and patriotic feeling without revealing the story. Raghavan said this part helps viewers emotionally connect to the world of 'War 2' while keeping the plot a secret. He also said this promise won't be just for this film. It will be in all YRF spy movies, linking characters like 'Pathaan', 'Tiger', 'Kabir', and new agents. 'War 2' narrative As reported in Bizasialive, Shridhar reveals, 'Adi was very clear that he did not want a single plot point of War 2 to be given out in the trailer. So, we created a fictional oath that the agents take during their induction into the deadly covert task forces as they prepare to sacrifice everything to protect our motherland at any cost. This oath in a way mirrors the dramatic, intense story of this film. With War 2, and with every film, we are giving people more glimpses into the shadowy world of the YRF Spy Universe — who really are these agents, what links them, what are their origin stories?' Continuity and thematic role in 'War 2' Raghavan About 'War 2' In 'War 2', Kiara Advani plays the female lead. The film has been carrying high expectations from fans and the industry alike. It will be released on August 14, 2025 in numerous languages such as Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
