Primark shoppers are 'obsessed' with the new summer accessories 'giving Anthropologie vibes'
Primark shoppers are "obsessed" with two "amazing" new bags that look "stunning" for summer. The retailer has long been popular with high-street fashion fans for its affordable takes on the season's hottest trends, and shoppers love Primark's new beaded bags.
As seen on social media, Primark has introduced two beaded bags priced at £16 each. One features a blue-and-white striped design with orange and white starfish accents, and the other has yellow lemons incorporated into the striped design, which is also blue and white, though it's a darker shade of blue.

One of viral videos that wowed shoppers was shared by Irish blogger @laurenarthurs_. The bags have also been spotted in stores in England and Wales.

In her video, Lauren said: "Guys, I was on a mission to find these bags in Primark, and they are absolutely stunning (...) I'm absolutely taking both of them." In her caption, she added: "Could not be more obsessed," and lots of viewers shared a similar reaction.
Someone else praised: "Omg those bags are stunning." A commenter added: "Omg I love the starfish one. My primark is broken." A keen shopper replied: "OMG I NEED." Another response read: "They're unreal," and a viewer thought: "AMAZINGG."
However, someone else replied: "Unfortunately a bit heavy," and a commenter wrote: "I think you can see they're cheap (and I'm not a snob)." It doesn't look like the bags are currently listed on Primark's website. However, it does list various bags shoppers love for their summer outfits.
For instance, fashion fans love Primark's £16 Paula Echevarría Metal Shell Clutch and £16 Paula Echevarría Straw Seashell Clutch Bag. Both bags draw inspiration from seashells, much to delight of shoppers searching for summer-themed accessories.

The product description for the Metal Shell Clutch says: "Add some shine to your look with this golden tone metal shell clutch from the Paula Echevarría collection.
"Designed in a sculptural shell shape with a glossy finish, it's fitted with a secure clasp fastening to keep your essentials tucked away. The detachable cross body strap lets you switch between handheld and hands-free styling with ease. Perfect for evenings out, special occasions, or when you just want a bit of sparkle."
Meanwhile, the product description for the Straw Seashell Clutch Bag says: "Say hello to summer with this charming Paula Echevarría straw clutch bag. Shaped like a seashell, this woven accessory brings a playful touch to your warm-weather wardrobe. The delicate pearl-like clasp closure adds a hint of elegance, while the detachable gold-toned chain strap gives you versatility to wear it your way.
"Take it from beach to dinner with ease – pair with a flowing maxi dress and sandals for daytime adventures, or match with your favourite white linen ensemble for sunset dinners. This shell bag is designed to hold your essentials while keeping your holiday style perfectly on point."

Coronation Street casts Hollywood actor to play returning character's husband

Catherine Tydlesley is set to reprise her role as Eva Price on Coronation Street and it's been claimed that a Hollywood star will join her as bosses aim to rival EastEnders Catherine Tydlesley is set to reprise her role as Eva Price on Coronation Street, and will arrive with a Hollywood star playing her new husband. The actress, 41, quit her role as Eva on the cobbles in 2018 but is now said to be making a comeback, and the former barmaid will now be installed as Rovers Return landlady. ‌ Reports surrounding the return of Leanne Battersby's sister emerged earlier this year, but then nothing was announced. Fresh reports just last week claimed the planned plot was now approaching. ‌ It's thought that the move has come about after EastEnders bosses revealed that Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) will be taking the reins of the Queen Victoria pub. Aaron McCusker, who starred as Freddie Mercury's boyfriend in the film Bohemian Rhapsody, is reportedly set to arrive alongside her as her new husband. ‌ A source told The Sun: "Corrie bosses were never going to take EastEnders shrewd decision to reinstate Kat and Alfie at the Vic lying down. So they took their time looking for the perfect actor to play her husband to Eva as she makes her return to Corrie as the new boss of the Rovers." The insider added that Corrie bosses knew they had found the 'perfect' actor as soon as the Irish-born star walked into the room. They added of his character: "Aaron's character is also someone not to be messed with, and the locals are going to be in for a shock if they think they can take advantage of his good nature and that cheeky Irish charm. ‌ "It's the start of an exciting new chapter in the pub's history." Aaron is also known for his role as Jamie Maguire in Shameless, whilst Catherine has appeared in shows such as Scarborough and The Good Ship Murder since her exit from the serial. She was also set to star in a cancelled touring production of Bonnie and Clyde: The Musical last year and went viral over a social media scandal known as Cakegate in late 2023. The actress first appeared on Coronation Street in 2011, and arrived as the daughter of Stella Price (Michelle Collins), who had arrived to take over the pub herself and reveal herself as the long-lost mother of Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson). ‌ Over the course of seven years, Catherine saw her alter-ego through numerous relationships with the likes of Jason Grimshaw (Ryan Thomas), Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) and Nick Tilsey (Ben Price). Her most notable relationship was with Aidan Connor (Shayne Ward), but that started to go awry when he began an affair with Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon). Instead of confronting Aidan head-on about his infidelity, she decided to take revenge by putting a bright pink Range Rover on his credit card and then decided to fake a pregnancy. Maria discovered Eva's lies and exposed them all at the wedding but Eva later discovered that she was in fact pregnant with Aidan's baby. In order to go through with the birth in secret, she went off to a remote cottage and had planned to give baby Susie away to Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor). However, Aidan later took his own life and Eva began to grow close to her daughter, eventually opting to leave in the back of a taxi with her for good. If Eva does return and take over the Rovers, she will be following in the footsteps of former characters such as Annie Walker (Doris Speed), Bet Lynch (Julie Goodyear) and Liz McDonald (Beverley Callard), all of whom have helmed the nation's most famous pub over the course of the show's history. One such landlady is Jenny Connor, who is confirmed to be leaving the ITV soap. On a random summer night, a bouncer perched outside Bar Snack called out to me and other passersby on the street, luring us with the promise of great drinks, great food and "the best bathroom in the East Village." Reader: I am here to tell you—he was right. But if a disco-fresh bathroom isn't enough to tempt you in, the convivial nature and solid list of tasty cocktails (and snacks!) found at Bar Snack certainly will. The vibe: After surveying the East Village and its many, many (expensive) cocktail bars, bartender Iain Griffiths and Brooklyn-based bar owner Oliver Cleary decided they wanted to create something—and so they did, serving "dressed-up classics for dressed-down people." The inside gives off '70s lounge—think wood paneling and a dark, walnut-wood bar lined with glittery orange bar stools. Snagging a seat during the nighttime hours can prove difficult as this bar certainly attracts a crowd, making standing room your best bet. But even the daytime can bring a rowdy good time, as rock and throwback hits (hello Spice Girls!) blare through the speakers. The food: Snack is in the name, isn't it? And snacks, they do so well. Fried cheese curds are tossed in pickle dust and hot dogs get a little fancy with onion jam and a hot pickle. Even the drinks come with a little something, take the chicken skin chicharron that tips on the side of the Boat Snack Martini ($18). But the snack of all snacks is the Spice Bag ($18). Leaning on Griffith's Irish roots, the bag comes to the table in a white paper bag labeled "Spice Bag" fashioned in the style of the Spice Girls logo. As much as you'll want to save it, you must rip it open to reveal buttermilk-fried tendies, fries and peppers. Drizzle on the orange-y curry sauce and get to eating while its still steaming hot. The drinks: The menu is split up into "Crushers" and "Shooters," plus a dedicated daiquiri section with pitchers and tiny sippers, such as the Snaquiri ($12). The bar improves upon the classics, as the whiskey sour riff, the Split Ends ($18), incorporates raspberry and a smooth topper of Guinness, and the Verte Drip ($117) drinks like a mojito but better, swapping out cloyingly sweet notes with a light coconut float and a bit of matcha for depth. Yet the frozens are most definitely a fave, whether it's beach weather outside or not. The Mama Tried ($16) drinks like a limeaid popsicle but with a touch of smoke, thanks to a blend of triple citrus sorbet, mezcal and St. Germain.

Shoppers cry ‘prayers have been answered' as Primark finally adds £20 item to rails & they're great for petite gals

FINDING the perfect pair of jeans can be a nightmare - especially if you're a shorter gal. But a petite Primark worker has insisted a new store arrival is the answer to any denim problems. 4 4 4 4 And with autumn on the way, it's the perfect time to stock up on transitional buys that can be styled with jumpers just as easily as cropped camis. The baggy low rise jeans, available in mid blue, come in sizes four to 18. Primark bosses say the loose fit jeans give "plenty of room to move" and have a cute detail for an "extra twist". In their online description, they add: "These jeans mix throwback utility style with a fresh, modern feel. "Made in a medium wash denim, they come in a loose, wide leg fit that gives plenty of room to move. "The front and back patch pockets are big and bold, with a utility style loop on the leg adding an extra twist. "Easy to throw on with a tee or crop top, these jeans bring a workwear vibe into your weekend wardrobe." The jeans are only £20 too, making them a purse-friendly addition to your wardrobe. With such a cheap price tag, it's no surprise that the new arrival has proved popular with fashion fans and staff alike. A 5ft 2in worker at Primark's Lincoln store modelled the jeans in a TikTok clip last week, showing they're the perfect length for shorter gals. I'm a size 18 & looked everywhere for the perfect grey jeans - I was stunned when I found them in a VERY surprising shop Alongside the video, the caption read: "We're rise jeans are here. "Who else has been waiting for low rise Primark jeans??" And shoppers seem just as excited by the addition to the denim rails, as one gushed: "My prayers have been answered." "Wait they are so cute", a second added. A third simply wrote: "Super." Meanwhile, a fourth chimed in: "These are cute!!!" Changes in store Primark is making some important changes to its kids' clothing lines following months of feedback from parents and carers. The high-street giant has announced it's making its clothing more inclusive, specifically for children who struggle with sensory issues. In a move to increase comfort, Primark is removing neck labels from its core kids' clothing and nightwear. This change means that t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, and pyjamas will now feature printed labels instead. Additionally, the retailer is introducing seamless sock options. With the back-to-school season approaching, more than 50% of Primark's kids' clothing will now be neck label-free, including nearly 70% of its pyjamas. The brand has stated its ambition is to continue increasing this number in the future, ensuring more comfortable options for all children. Top Primark summer buys IF you're looking for more Primark summer buys, then you've come to the right place. Shoppers have recently been raving about the new Miffy PJs from Primark. Others were desperate to nab the new leopard print nightwear. If animal print is your thing, you'll want to check out the new maxi skirts. The haltnerneck tops are perfect for summer. If you're on a budget, these trousers are identical to a pair from Zara, but without the hefty price tag. There's brilliant travel essentials for less than £10. And if you plan on heading to the beach, you won't want to miss these crochet bags.
