We found a £35 lookalike for Lisa Snowdon's £1.3k colourful beaded necklace
Lisa Snowdon's colourful beaded necklace is the perfect summer accessory, and we've managed to find a great alternative to her £1.3k jewellery – that costs just £35 If there's one person we're always happy to take fashion advice from, it's Lisa Snowdon. As well as being the resident fashion expert on This Morning, Lisa also often shares her personal fashion finds on Instagram, which is where she gave followers the details of her summery jewellery. In a series of Instagram stories, Lisa can be seen wearing the Rainbow Beaded Necklace With ID Tag Pendant from Diane Kordas, which retails for £1295. Whilst we love the look, it's definitely a little out of budget for most of us, which is why we were thrilled to spot this much more affordable option from Peachy & Wild. The Rainbow Moonstone Smiley Face Necklace costs just £35 – considerably more affordable than Lisa's designer version. The price tag of Lisa's Diane Kordas necklace is justified thanks to its combination of 14k rose gold and white diamonds, however for something more everyday, the Peachy & Wild pendant is a perfect alternative. It's made from rainbow coloured moonstones which are slightly translucent, allowing them to catch the light beautifully. The necklace also features a delicate smiley face pendant in the middle, which is made from shell and makes the whole necklace just scream 'summer'. Although the necklace is perfect for bringing a little dopamine dressing to anyone's wardrobe, moonstone is also the birthstone for June, making it extra special for those with a June birthday. Whilst you can wear it on its own, it's also great for adding some colour and fun to a layered necklace stack. If you loved the sparkle and rectangular pendant dangling from Lisa's necklace, this Beaded Charm Cluster Necklace, £58, from Anthropologie is another gorgeous option. Its rainbow beads are grouped into colours along the chain, with a 14k gold-plated brass pendant, fish charm and small gemstone dangling from it. It also comes in three other colourways. 'Minimizes my stomach, defines my waist': Amazon shoppers are obsessed with this 'beautiful' dress, so I put it to the test
Recently, I was searching for the perfect summer dress for an upcoming event and having no luck with my go-to retailers. I started to feel defeated so decided to check out Amazon for a last-minute option. I wasn't hoping for much, but thought Prime delivery would ensure it got to me in time, and maybe I would stumble upon something flattering that will get me by. Luckily, I ended up hitting the jackpot. The PRETTYGARDEN Women's Eyelet Maxi Dress totally exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and cuteness. It immediately reminded me of the bestselling Somerset Dress from Anthropologie — but at a more affordable cost. This stunning dress is perfect for summer. I snagged it in this bright blue shade, which screams summer, and it scored me tons of compliments at said event. When I told people it was from Amazon Canada, they were visibly impressed. While $77 can be considered pricey for the retailer, in my review below I'll touch on why I think it's worth the price — as well as some areas that could use improvement. However, while we're on the topic of price tags, the shorter — and equally gorgeous — version of this dress is currently on sale for $50 ahead of Prime Day 2025. I'm tempted to add a couple of colours to my cart for summer. Let's dive into all the details of this frock, why I think it's great, as well as what I didn't like. Right off the bat, this dress is effortlessly stylish and comfortable. It's made from soft, lightweight fabric and features a flattering A-line shape, chic V-neckline and dainty eyelet details that add a feminine touch. The short sleeves and ruffled hem make it look elevated (and quite frankly, more expensive than it actually is). Plus, the flowy silhouette is flattering for all body types, making it a go-to for everything from special occasions to casual brunch. It's available in sizes S–XXL and in various vibrant and neutral colours. You can pair it with your favourite sandals, flats or heels to complement virtually any look you're going for. The airy eyelet material feels very comfy for all-day wear Its flowy A-line silhouette is flattering and makes me feel confident The V-neckline allows me to dress it up with necklaces It's versatile — great for travel, events or casual days Very stretchy and not constricting Super easy to take on and off (no buttons, zippers or anything to fuss with) It's on the pricier side for Amazon (however, still worth it, in my opinion) I spotted some threads that had to be cut off It's on the bigger side, so next time I'd size down The liner underneath isn't as long as the dress itself (just a personal pet peeve) No pockets! 👗 "Truly a great find." ⭐ 4.5/5 stars 🛍️ 500+ ratings Don't just take my word for it — let's see what other reviewers have to say about this dress. Do they love it as much as I do? Someone who is "very self-conscious" about their postpartum body said they're "in love with this dress." "This dress made me feel better," they stated. Another person called it a "fun, cheerful dress" that you can wear to "a range of occasions." A third reviewer echoed this sentiment, calling it a "beautiful dress." "This dress is so incredibly flattering," said one customer. They continued, "If it were $20 cheaper I would probably buy another colour." "Minimizes my stomach, defines my waist," wrote one person. However, they said, "If I could change one thing, it would be to lengthen the arms a tad." "The only 'eek' was the price… just a tad too rich for my blood but in the end, it was worth it!" shared another. If you've been struggling to find the perfect versatile dress for many different occasions, this PRETTYGARDEN Women's Eyelet Maxi Dress might be just what you're looking for. As a shopping editor, I come across (and try on) a lot of pieces, and I can honestly say the quality on this one passes the test. After wearing it to an all-day event, I can confirm it's comfortable, lightweight and very flattering. However, is it worth $77? I'm going to say yes, while simultaneously agreeing it's kind of pricey for Amazon. But hey, when you find something good, sometimes you've gotta splurge. Not interested in paying more than $50? Birkenstock's western-inspired studded sandals are perfect for summer, and we've spotted the perfect alternative pair that'll get you the same look for over £100 less If there's one pair of sandals that are a must-have for summer, it's a pair of double strap mules. The style is timeless and easy to style, and one of the most iconic designs for this kind of sandal is, of course, a pair of Birkenstock Arizonas. With the western aesthetic still trending (thanks in no small part to Beyonce 's Cowboy Carter tour), the Birkenstock Arizona Rivet Sandals in Dark Rust are the ideal way to bring the cowboycore look to your summer wardrobe on the days when it's too hot to don your cowboy boots. However with Birkenstock's pair costing £135 they're not always the most budget friendly pick, which is why we couldn't wait to snap up H&M's much more affordable alternative. Priced at £32.99, the H&M Studded Sandals are not only £102 cheaper than the Birkenstock pair, but they have a very similar look that lets you nail the western vibe without spending too much. They come in both black and brown shades, with the brown pair featuring silver studs, whilst the black pair have gold stud details. The double straps both have adjustable buckle fastenings, and the H&M sandals feature a comfortable moulded footbed that means you can wear them for hours at a time with no issues. The soles are also lined with satin, which helps absorb any moisture without creating friction or rubbing on your feet. Although they're made from 100% polyester, the straps have a very convincing suede-look finish, which makes them look much more expensive than they actually are. The hardware details also contribute to their luxe look, making them a great way to save money whilst still looking stylish. If you do want to snap up the real deal, Anthropologie currently has the Birkenstock Arizona Studded Sandals on sale for a limited time, reduced to £108. Meanwhile New Look has an ultra affordable pair on offer, with the Light Brown Faux Suede Studded Sandals on sale for £19.79, down from £32.99. However H&M shoppers have so far been thrilled with their Studded Sandals, giving them a solid five star rating. One wrote: 'Slightly awkward sizing, a little on the wide side but can be adjusted. Look fab.' Whilst another agreed: 'Comfy and stylish. Great value for money.' The sandals come in sizes two to nine. The brown colourway are currently out of stock in sizes seven and eight, whilst the black and gold pair currently only have size twos available due to how popular they are.
