To qualify for the permit, businesses must meet several criteria, including: Obtaining health certification for all home delivery personnel
Securing approval from the authority responsible for the relevant commercial activity
Displaying the establishment's name or brand on delivery vehicles
Ensuring that vehicles meet technical and health standards for safe transport of goods
The ministry will carry out field inspections to ensure compliance and take regulatory action against violators.
Business owners can apply for the home delivery permit through the Balady platform.

Backed by vision Speaking about the significance of the event, His Excellency Majed bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipalities and Housing, said Cityscape Global supports efforts to 'develop integrated urban communities, improve the quality of life, and drive sustainable economic growth' in alignment with Vision 2030. Faisal Al-Khamissi, Chairman of the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, added that last year's edition saw transactions exceed $61 billion with participation from 121 countries, reinforcing Cityscape's rising global stature. He expressed confidence that 2025 would deliver even greater outcomes for developers and investors worldwide. A global cast This year's speaker lineup includes former Melbourne mayor Sally Capp, global ConTech investor Darren Bechtel, architect Stefano Boeri, former New York Parks Commissioner Mitchell Silver, and Anil Erdem of BentallGreenOak. Their participation reflects the event's global positioning and thought leadership profile. Participating countries include the USA, China, India, the UK, Italy, the UAE, Qatar, and Jordan, underscoring the breadth of international engagement. Global project management experts set for major Saudi forum
Leading global players in project management sector and other industry leaders will be in Riyadh next month for the Global Project Management Forum (GPMF), where they will explore how emerging technologies, agile practices, and human capital are reshaping the future of project delivery across sectors. One of the region's largest industry events, GPMF 2025, will run from May 17 to 19 under the theme 'Next-Gen Project Management: The Power of People, Processes and Technology.' Held under the patronage of Housing and Municipal Affairs Minister Majid bin Abdullah Al Hogail, the three-day show will draw over 13,000 participants including project management professionals, government officials and industry leaders. It is organized in partnership with the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, Roads General Authority, and the Project Development Company.
