Speaking to Mashable India, Bhumi revealed how Akshay Kumar's no-nonsense mantra became a guiding principle. 'He told me, 'Beta, bas kaam karti jao. Don't overthink,'' Bhumi shared, acknowledging the senior actor's focus and discipline. The advice, she said, kept her grounded in an unpredictable industry.

Bhumi also recalled a cherished memory with Shah Rukh Khan after the success of her debut film 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha'.
'Shah Rukh sir invited me to his home. He came to receive me himself, stayed with us throughout, and even dropped us back. He didn't leave until we exited the compound. That's who he is—so gracious, so lovely,' she said, calling it a memory she'll always hold close.

Putting her casting director hat back on, Bhumi had some blunt advice for newcomers. 'It's not rosy,' she warned.
'If you want to do Hindi films, you need to know Hindi. That's the bare minimum. Practice your lines, watch films. Don't come unprepared.'

While Bhumi has played a variety of roles, Sandhya from Dum Laga Ke Haisha remains her most cherished. In a conversation with Harper's Bazaar India, she said, 'That girl changed me. She helped me deal with my insecurities and made me fall in love with myself a little more. It's an ongoing journey.'
