Lori Vallow Daybell found guilty in 3rd trial
The jury concluded Vallow Daybell conspired to kill Brandon Boudreaux, her niece's ex-husband.
Vallow Daybell, who represented herself, pleaded not guilty.
This marks her third trial in recent years. Earlier in spring, she was found guilty of conspiring to murder her estranged husband, Charles Vallow, in Arizona. She awaits sentencing for this trial.
Vallow Daybell was also convicted in Idaho for killing her children — Tylee and JJ — and Tammy Daybell, her husband Chad Daybell's first wife in Idaho. She is serving several life sentences without the possibility of parole.
Despite a shaky start to the trial last Friday, when Vallow Daybell appeared in court in a wheelchair and asked the judge for more time, the proceedings ended this week.
She ran into a confrontation with Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Justin Beresky in court on Friday.
Vallow Daybell wanted the judge to allow the inclusion of character evidence but the judge told her that could leave the door open for the prosecution to include evidence of her prior convictions.
The judge advised her to consult her advisory council during the lunch break.
'You don't need to yell at me,' Vallow Daybell responded. After a brief back and forth, where the judge stressed he didn't raise his voice, he ordered Vallow Daybell to be escorted out of the courtroom.
She argued she'd been 'very courteous' to Beresky. The judge didn't take to her remark too kindly, saying, 'No, you have been nothing near courteous to me during the course of these proceedings.'
She apologized to Beresky 15 minutes later. The judge offered her a warning: another slip up and he could revoke her right to represent herself.
In addition to juggling the Arizona trial, Vallow Daybell is also attempting to file an appeal in Idaho, where she is serving several life sentences.
'Lori Daybell respectfully asks this Court to reverse her judgment of conviction and remand for an order dismissing all charges against her based on a violation of her statutory and constitutional right to a speedy trial,' the brief, filed May 30, states, according to KTVB 7.
Her attorney argued the court disqualified her chosen attorney, violating her Sixth Amendment.

The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday (June 23), alleges that Justin Combs used his father Diddy's celebrity and position to lure the victim (referred to as Jane Doe in the filing) to California with the promise of a job in television. But Jane Doe claims that she was 'held prisoner for a weekend' after being plied with drugs and alcohol, and subjected to a 'brutal gang rape' enacted by Diddy and two other 'masked men.' According to the lawsuit, the woman connected with Justin Combs in April 2017 via the Snapchat social media platform. He asked her for explicit photographs of herself, and she consented to send them to him. Shortly afterward, Combs invited her to California for a weekend, promising that he could help her get a job using his father's connections. After a time at the home in Beverly Hills known as 'The Glass House,' Jane Doe said that she was given pills, alcohol, and marijuana she believed was laced. It was shortly after that when three masked men arrived at the home, one who she alleged was Diddy due to his mannerisms and the fact that Justin was calling that person 'Pops.' Jane Doe then said that she was guided to a bedroom and told, 'You better let this happen. Or else.' She claimed that she was then raped repeatedly by the men taking turns from that Saturday evening into the following afternoon. She was allegedly then taken to the airport on Monday, but not before Combs, now 31, reminded her of the explicit photos she sent 'which he had saved and could release at his pleasure,' according to documents. 'No matter how many lawsuits are filed it won't change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor,' a statement from Combs' media team said, adding: 'We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court.' The lawsuit comes as the sex trafficking case against Diddy in New York City was set to have closing arguments take place on Friday (June 27) before jury deliberations. Citing the 'divisive' interest the high-profile case has received, Cannone said she believes 'there is a risk of immediate and irreparable injury should the list be made available to the public at this time.' Quincy man arrested in Weymouth bank heist, has history of robbery convictions, authorities say
The suspect, who was wearing a face covering and gloves, pointed the firearm at the teller several times and ran to other teller windows demanding more money, authorities said.
