) has announced the release of the CAPF Assistant Commandant Admit Card 2025 on July 25, 2025, available via the official portal

. This latest development is a crucial milestone for candidates preparing for the CAPF written examination scheduled for August 3, 2025.
With approximately 357 vacancies across forces like BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, and SSB, aspirants must now download and verify their hall tickets using their Registration ID (or Roll Number) and Date of Birth.
The admit card contains important details including exam centre, shift timings, candidate photograph, and exam-day instructions. Candidates are advised to download early, verify accuracy, and carry a printed copy along with valid photo ID to the exam hall.

Here is how candidates can download their UPSC hall tickets online:
Visit the UPSC official website: upsconline.gov.in or upsc.gov.in.
Navigate to
'E‑Admit Cards for Various UPSC Examinations'
.
Select 'Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination 2025'.
Read instructions, click Yes, and proceed.
Log in using Registration ID or Roll Number, Date of Birth, and Captcha.
Click Submit to view and download your admit card.
Take multiple printouts for safety.

Check and verify admit card details
After downloading the UPSC admit card, candidates are advised to cross check all the details mentioned in it carefully. Ensure that the following elements are accurate:
Candidate's Name, Roll Number, Registration ID
Photograph and Signature
Exam Date, Time, Venue and Reporting Time
Exam Centre Code and Instructions for the exam day
In case of discrepancies, immediately contact UPSC via their facilitation counter or helpdesk.
UPSC CAPF 2025 exam day guidelines
Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid government-issued photo ID, such as Aadhaar, Voter ID, PAN, Passport, or Driving Licence.
They must not bring mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, electronic gadgets, books, notes, or food items (unless medically necessary) to the exam centre.
Candidates are advised to arrive at the exam venue at least 60 minutes before the scheduled time to complete security checks and formalities without delay.
Latecomers may be denied entry even if they have a valid admit card and ID.

The Indian Army organised a solemn Naming Ceremony of the newly constructed Kargil Bypass Bridge, which has been officially named as 'Captain Anuj Nayyar, Maha Vir Chakra Setu' as a tribute to the sacrifices of Captain Anuj Nayyar and soldiers of 17 JAT Battalion and the unwavering support by the citizens of Kargil. Captain Anuj Nayyar made the ultimate sacrifice while capturing Pimple Complex on the Western Slopes of Point 4875 in the Mushkoh Valley during Operation Vijay in 1999 and was posthumously awarded the Maha Vir Chakra, India's second-highest military decoration for the brave act. ​The naming ceremony was attended by Captain Anuj Nayyar's mother, Meena Nayyar, and her younger son, Karan Nayyar, apart from a few family guests, apart from dignitaries as well and representatives of the 17 JAT Battalion. Meena Nayyar and Karan Nayyar unveiled a commemorative plaque. In her address, she remembered her son and expressed gratitude that Captain Anuj's name will be etched forever in golden words in the history of Kargil. '​Captain Anuj Nayyar, Maha Vir Chakra Setu' will provide an alternate route bypassing the Kargil town, thus significantly improving traffic flow and regional connectivity along the strategic National Highway 1-D. The bridge, which stands as a beacon of patriotism and sacrifice, will continue to inspire the younger generations. The Indian Army remains committed to honouring its heroes and keeping their memories alive for generations to come. Mega Cycle Rally In Srinagar Earlier, the Border Security Force (BSF) Kashmir Frontier on Sunday organised a mega cycle rally in Srinagar to mark Kargil Vijay Diwas and promote the Fit India campaign. The event, held in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, saw enthusiastic participation from BSF personnel, local officials. As part of the broader 'Fit India Sundays on Cycle' initiative, the rally aimed to encourage cycling for health and unify communities in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a fit and active India.

Success Story: UPSC exam is one of the biggest and toughest exams of our time. It is very difficult to pass this exam. But some smart people pass this exam in the first attempt itself. Donuru Ananya Reddy of Ponnekal village of Addakal Mandal in Mahbubnagar district of Telangana, at the age of 22, secured third place in the country in CSE-2023 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Coming from a middle-class family, Ananya's father Donuru Suresh Reddy is a small businessman, and her mother Manjula is a housewife. She did her schooling in Mahbubnagar city before moving to Hyderabad for higher education. With the intention of getting success in the Civil Services Examination, Ananya moved to New Delhi to pursue BA (Hons) in Geography from Miranda House College, University of Delhi. Within a year of graduation, she appeared for the civil services exam and secured the top rank in her first attempt. After achieving success in UPSC, Ananya said in an interview that 'I performed well in the interview and I was hopeful that I would make it to the final list. But I never thought that I would come third in the list.' She said, 'I am the first person in my family to join the civil services and become an IAS officer. Since my school days, my wish was to serve the society by becoming a civil servant.' Ananya told that she had prepared for the exam according to her planning and did not follow any particular pattern. She said, 'I studied for 12-14 hours daily.' IAS officer Ananya Reddy's story is a source of inspiration for the youth that with true dedication and hard work, success is definitely achieved.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) will close the online application process for Class 6 admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) on July 29. Applications for the JNV Selection Test or JNVST 2025 can be submitted at JNVST 2025: Registration for the Navodaya Class 6 admission test ends on July 29 (Getty Images/iStockphoto/ Representational image) A candidate seeking admission to JNVs must not have been born before May 1, 2014 and after July 31 (both dates inclusive). They must also fulfil other eligibility conditions given on the prospectus. Question paper of JNVST 2025 will have 3 sections with 80 objective-type questions for 100 marks.
