The primetime quiz Puzzling is set to return to 5 for a second series, nearly two years after its first outing.
The problem-saving gameshow, hosted by Lucy Worsley, was shelved for 2024 before being revived by 5 for a second run this year.
Production listings suggest the new run of episodes - yet to be announced by 5 - will include at least one celebrity special reports TV Zone.
At the time some fans were sad to hear the show had been axed, with one person saying: "Noo we liked watching this!"
However, the game show did receive a lot of complaints for having Lucy at the helm, as several viewers complained she didn't have the charisma for the role.
One critic said: "I adore Lucy Worsley when she's allowed to be Lucy Worsley. But this quiz thing is painful."
Another added: "Lucy Worsley is an interesting enough history presenter but utterly lacking charisma as a quiz host.
" C5 's Puzzling is a bad HoG/OC rip-off with a migraine-inducing set design. Anaemic and unengaging."
Lucy had previously revealed she was under "huge pressure".
She told the Sun TV mag: "I'm a wreck, an utter heap of nerves. This is all new to me, and the pressure of it is extraordinary.
Channel 5 in major U-turn over quiz show as it returns - a year after it was shelved by bosses
"There are so many things that could go wrong, for the contestants but also for me.
"I'm under huge pressure to get the question out quickly but correctly. It's been a real joy, but also terrifying.
"Normally I'm out with a very small crew stuck on a rainy street corner in Edinburgh. I'm not used to working with such a large, complex team in such a big TV studio."
Before taking on the new role as game show host, Lucy was known for presenting historical documentaries on the BBC.
Puzzling seeks to challenge Britain's brightest minds as they do battle to be hailed Britain's ultimate puzzler.
At the start of each episode, six super smart strangers are split into two teams of three.
The two teams try to accrue the most points through their powers of puzzling deduction.
Every area of our player's mind will be tested across five puzzling rounds – In Other Words (language), Pressure Points (calculation), Rule Breakers (lateral thinking), Picture This (visual intelligence) and Memory Bank (memory).
Then, in a dramatic plot twist, the winning team turn on each other to be named the 'Best of the Best' and earn a place in the series Grand Final where the ultimate puzzler will be crowned.

Lioness star Lucy Bronze's mysterious 'split' from teammate before baby bombshell
The self-styled 'bossy mum' of the Lionesses squad, Lucy Bronze, has opened up about the one wish she has for her future. It comes as she has been romantically linked with some very famous players Lioness legend Lucy Bronze keeps her life away from the pitch largely under wraps, but she has been linked to some very famous sportswomen in her love life. The footaller, known as one of the best in the world, was once reportedly dating her teammate Keira Walsh but she's since found a new flame, according to reports. Despite their romance seemingly fizzling out, Lucy and Keira appear to remain amicable and are both part of the Lioness squad. It comes as Lucy dropped a major bombshell about her huge wish for the future. Lucy, 33, is known as one of the world's top female footballers - boasting over 120 international appearances and a collection of silverware, including five Champions League crowns. She transferred to Chelsea in 2024 following her time at Barcelona, and her adaptability as a right-back or wing-back continues to prove invaluable for both club and nation. Away from the football field, she was rumoured to be in a relationship with England's vice-captain and Chelsea player Keira Walsh, 28. In the summer of 2022, Bronze and Walsh both made the switch from Man City to Barcelona and competed in the World Cup as part of the Lionesses squad the following year. The pair kept their rumoured romance relatively low-key and never publicly confirmed their relationship, but shared several cosy photos together on social media over the years. Some of which included sun-soaked getaways together, including a break to Lyon, France, in 2019 and a trip to LA in May 2022, where they struck a pose on the beach. They've even spent time together with both their families, as a sweet Instagram snap showed Lucy and Keira beaming alongside their loved ones. While they never confirmed their relationship together or a split, things seemed to suddenly come to an end. Lucy is now said to be romantically linked with Spanish footballer Ona Batlle, 26. While neither of the pair has gone official, they have shared a series of sweet snaps together. One saw them on holiday together last month before the Euros kicked off in Switzerland. In the post, Lucy wrote: "Few days of sun," while Ona commented with a heart-eyed emoji. They even took a trip to Disneyland Paris together in December last year. Meanwhile, Lucy recently opened up about her future and about starting a family of her own one day. In an interview with Women's Health, she shared: "I could get a corporate job. I could try to be part of the Federation or Fifa. I could help someone like Chelsea develop the women's team." The player added: "I wouldn't say there's something I'm dying to do, apart from have a family. My brother's got two kids and that's what I'm most jealous of, seeing my niece and nephew. But there's plenty of time for that – and what that looks like, I don't know." While Lucy and Ona are major rivals during the Euros, with England and Spain competing against each other in the final on Sunday, 27 July, it doesn't seem to impact their relationship off the pitch. After Spain took victory against England during the 2023 World Cup, Ona was spotted comforting Lucy on the sidelines.

Lucy Bronze and Ona Batlle will go head-to-head in Sunday's Euro 2025 final, with the two full-backs believed to be in a relationship after striking up a bond at Barcelona While Lioness Lucy Bronze often opens up about her close-knit family, she tends to keep her romantic life private. However, it's widely believed that the England star is in a relationship with Spanish footballer Ona Batlle. The pair met when Lucy, 33, joined Barcelona FC, and though she and Ona, 26, had previously played on opposite sides of the Manchester rivalry - Lucy with City and Ona with United - it was evident a close bond had already begun to blossom. During a dazzling 2023-24 season with Barcelona -where they secured the domestic league title, two Spanish cups, and the Champions League - Lucy and Ona became inseparable off the pitch. That bond only grew after Lucy's return to the Women's Super League with Chelsea last summer. Though the pair haven't officially confirmed their romance, they've shared several affectionate photos together - most recently from a holiday just before the tournament. Ahead of the tournament in Switzerland, the pair shared snapshots from a joint holiday, which appeared to coincide with Ona's birthday. "Bday week," the Spanish defender captioned on Instagram, alongside photos of them enjoying ice cream, floating in the sea on a lilo, and lounging in a private pool during a boat trip. It wasn't their first getaway together either. The previous winter, six months after Lucy joined Chelsea, Ona posted pictures of the two at Disneyland Paris with the caption: "What a magical place." But the pair will have to set their relationship - romantic or not - aside on Sunday. Spain booked their place in the final with a dramatic 1-0 extra-time win over Germany, while England battled past Italy 2-1, also in extra time, with Bronze playing all 120 minutes and previously netting a crucial penalty in a quarter-final shootout against Sweden. In the aftermath of Spain's 1-0 triumph over the Lionesses in the 2023 Women's World Cup final, Ona was even seen taking time out of her celebrations to console Lucy, kneeling beside her to offer comfort. Last month, Lucy opened up about her hopes of one day starting a family, saying it's the one thing she's "dying" to do. "My brother's got two kids and that's what I'm most jealous of, seeing my niece and nephew. But there's plenty of time for that – and what that looks like, I don't know," she told Women's Health.

Inside Lionesses teammates Lucy Bronze and Keira Walsh's ‘romance'
England footballers Lucy Bronze and Keira Walsh have had fans in a frenzy both on and off the pitch for a number of years. FC Barcelona defender Lucy, 33, and her midfield teammate, 28, will take on Spain in Sunday's Euro 2025 final. After losing their opening group stage against France, England roared back with wins over the Netherlands and Wales, before being taken to the brink by Sweden and Italy in the knockout rounds. It could be an extra sweet victory for the Lionesses after being beaten by Spain in the World Cup two years ago. Away from the pitch, Lucy was rumoured to be in a relationship with her England and Barcelona teammate Keira.
