Glastonbury Organizers 'Appalled' by Bob Vylan Chants: 'There Is No Place for Antisemitism'
The rap duo has come under fire for encouraging audiences at the event in Somerset, England, to join in on shouting 'death to the IDF' [the Israel Defense Forces] during their set on the West Holts stage on Saturday.

Eavis, the youngest daughter of Glastonbury Festival co-founder Michael Eavis, posted to Instagram on Sunday to say that the team is 'appalled' by the band's behavior.
'Their chants very much crossed a line and we are urgently reminding everyone involved in the production of the Festival that there is no place at Glastonbury for antisemitism, hate speech, or incitement to violence,' she wrote.
Eavis continued: 'As a festival, we stand against all forms of war and terrorism — we will always believe in — and actively campaign for — hope, unity, peace and love', adding a performer's comments 'should never be seen as a tacit endorsement of their opinions and beliefs… With almost 4,000 performances at Glastonbury 2025, there will inevitably be artists and speakers appearing on our stages whose views we do not share.'
Bob Vylan isn't the only act to draw attention to the war in Gaza. At the same stage on Saturday, Irish rap trio Kneecap voiced their pro-Palestine views and used the platform to criticize the U.K. and U.S. governments, as well as the U.S. media.
They thanked the Eavis family for allowing them to play despite pushback from U.K. politicians, including Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy. 'A big thank you to the Eavis family,' Kneecap said. 'The pressure that that family was under and they stood strong. Fair play to them.'
In May, the Met Police said it would investigate after online videos showed the band calling for the death of British parliament ministers, as well as chanting 'up Hamas, up Hezbollah.' It is illegal in the U.K. to express support for Hezbollah, a Shia Muslim political and military group in Lebanon, as it is considered a terrorist organization in Britain.
Glastonbury Festival runs June 25-29.

Foo Fighters Share Punk Cover They Recorded Across Three Decades
Foo Fighters Share Punk Cover They Recorded Across Three Decades originally appeared on Parade. Thirty years ago, changed his life forever, releasing the self-titled album for his new, post-Nirvana band: Foo Fighters. Although the album arrived in the UK a week earlier, Grohl declared his independence from his grunge past with an album that incorporated elements of melodic hardcore, indie, and alternative rock. While the Foo Fighters were Grohl's first musical outing following Nirvana's dissolution in the wake of Kurt Cobain's death in 1994, it wasn't his first band. Grohl got his start in Washington D.C.'s hardcore punk scene of the mid-'80s as part of the band Scream, and Foo Fighters celebrated that history by covering one of the biggest bands of the area: Minor Threat. On June 30, Foo Fighters released a cover of Minor Threat's 'I Don't Wanna Hear It' in support of their 30th anniversary. The song, posted on YouTube with the #FF30 hashtag, was actually put together across the decades. 'Instrumentals recorded in 1995. Vocals recorded in 2025,' reads the video description. The video itself is a collage of photos taken over the band's lifetime. We see many pics of bassist Nate Mendel, guitarist (and punk icon) Pat Smear, and the late drummer Taylor Hawkins. There are also glimpses of all the other players who have joined the Foos throughout their tenure. It's very touching, despite being soundtracked by one of hardcore punk's most abrasive bursts of teenage rebellion. Ultimately, 'I Don't Want To Hear It' is less of a stroll down memory lane and more of an 80-second rush through a band's incredible history. In addition, the band is celebrating its anniversary with a Substack detailing the behind-the-scenes of each of their 11 albums. The Foo Fighters only have a handful of international dates scheduled for 2025. They'll play Carnaval Ancol in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Oct. 2 and the Singapore Grand Prix on Oct. 4. They'll finish the month with a pair of shows in Japan before playing Corona Capital in Mexico City in November. The band's latest album is 2023's But Here We Are. Earlier in 2025, the Foo Fighters underwent an unexpected lineup change when they fired drummer Josh Freese without explanation. Grohl, who retreated from the public eye after admitting he fathered a child outside of his marriage, recently made a surprise appearance in London on June 20 to cover a Pixies song with Kim Fighters Share Punk Cover They Recorded Across Three Decades first appeared on Parade on Jul 1, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jul 1, 2025, where it first appeared.

Dave Grohl Makes Surprise Appearance To Perform With ‘80s Rock Legend
Dave Grohl Makes Surprise Appearance To Perform With '80s Rock Legend originally appeared on Parade. Someone get Rockapella to record 'Where In The World Is Dave Grohl,' because the Foo Fighters frontman is putting Carmen Sandiego to shame. And his latest random appearance occurred thanks to indie rock icon Kim Deal. Since Grohl, 56, admitted in September 2024 that he fathered a child outside of his marriage to Jordyn Blum, he's made some surprise appearances here and there. He played with Post Malone at the SNL 50th Anniversary concert in March. Dave showed up at Coachella in April, joining the Los Angeles Philharmonic to perform two Foo Fighters songs. Also that month, he played at Oakwood Live, a school benefit in Los Angeles. His latest appearance took place in London when Grohl joined the former Pixies bassist during her show at the Roundhouse on June 20. Deal, 64, brought out Grohl, who told her, 'I'll sing whatever you ask me to sing. I'll do whatever you ask me to do.' They then launched into 'Gigantic,' a song that the two have played together a handful of times over the year, per Consequence. Deal is touring in support of her debut solo album, Nobody Loves You More. Grohl's appearance at Deal's London show adds fuel to an ongoing fan theory: he is going to be a 'surprise' performer at this year's Glastonbury festival. Fans began to speculate about Grohl's involvement on Jun 18 when controversial singer Amanda Palmer posted a photo of her alongside him. 'Well I'll be damned. Not who I expected to run into backstage at the [Yeah Yeah Yeahs] show at @royalalberthall in London tonight,' she wrote. Fans on Reddit speculated that Grohl may make an appearance during Alanis Morissette's set as a tribute to the late Taylor Hawkins. Before he joined the Foos in 1997, Hawkins was Morissette's drummer, appearing in videos for 'You Oughta Know,' 'All I Really Want,' and 'You Learn.' As of June, the Foo Fighters only have a handful of shows scheduled for 2025. In May, the band fired drummerJosh Freese, who says 'no reason was given' for his dismissal. The band hasn't announced Freese's Grohl Makes Surprise Appearance To Perform With '80s Rock Legend first appeared on Parade on Jun 23, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jun 23, 2025, where it first appeared.

Rock Legend, 56, Makes First Public Appearance With Wife Since Bombshell News
Rock Legend, 56, Makes First Public Appearance With Wife Since Bombshell News originally appeared on Parade. Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and his wife, Jordyn Blum, made their first public appearance together since news that Grohl fathered a secret child broke last year. According to the Daily Mail, Grohl and Blum were together on day three of Wimbledon in London on July 2. Grohl looked dapper in a navy blue suit with a matching tie as he walked alongside Blum, who looked lovely in a light peach colored blazer and matching slacks. In September 2024, Grohl shared a candid message on social media, letting the world know that he'd fathered a child outside of his marriage. "I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage," he wrote in a statement at the time. "I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We're grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together." At the time, fans were unsure if Grohl and Blum would be able to work through the surprising news and some fans suspected that the two — who tied the knot in 2003 — would split. 🎬 SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬 "She was shocked when she found out about the baby. Her friends are like family, and they rallied around her," a source previously told People magazine. Grohl and Blum seem to be working through things, however, and appear to be doing well despite sources confirming it was a "rough" time.
