Sarah Jessica Parker confirms she dated Nicolas Cage before meeting husband Matthew Broderick
The 60-year-old And Just Like That star - who has James, 22, and 16-year-old twins Tabitha and Marion with husband Matthew Broderick - co-starred alongside the 61-year-old actor in the 1992 rom-com Honeymoon in Vegas.
And Sarah Jessica has revealed the pair did have a brief romance during filming before she met her spouse in 1991.
Appearing on Watch What Happens Live, host and close friend Andy Cohen asked her on Sunday's (13.07.25) episode if the gossip was true, to which she replied: 'Um, yes I did [date him]."
Cohen reacted: 'Oh wow. We've got some talking to do!'
During the chat, the Sex and the City actress also revealed she was the first to say "I love you" to 63-year-old Lion King star Matthew.
Meanwhile, Sarah Jessica recently admitted she thinks not being a 'Hollywood couple' has helped her marriage.
The couple tied the knot in 1997, and she believes not speaking much about her personal life and being under the radar in New York has been key to their long-lasting romance.
Asked the secret to her happy marriage, she told Britain's HELLO! magazine: 'Probably that I don't talk about it! It really is a secret.
'But maybe it's because we're not a Hollywood couple. We live in New York – maybe that's good.'
Sarah Jessica has also dated Michael J. Fox, Chris Penn, and Robert Downey Jr.

Olivia Dean's new album is inspired by Sex And The City character Carrie Bradshaw. The 26-year-old singer has revealed that the fictional character, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, served as a big inspiration for The Art Of Loving. She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper's Bizarre column: "I'd never seen Sex And The City before, and started watching it from the beginning. I have been living my Carrie moment – her influence will be there." Olivia also revealed that one particular song on the new album focuses on relationship struggles. She shared: "Something In Between is about when you are between being with somebody and not, and you are like, 'I don't want to just have you in my life, like now we are not supposed to talk?'" Olivia released her debut album, Messy, back in 2023. The singer previously explained that the record explored the experience of falling in love again after a break-up. She told TimeOut: "It's a messy road and I've become quite hardened. My heart has got a hard case." The album featured the single Ladies Room, which was inspired by a drunk conversation that she overheard in the toilets on a night out. Olivia explained: "I was just in the cubicle peeing and I overheard this lady talking. "She was like, 'Girls, if I could give you any advice, never go out with a man who's 20 years your senior.' I recorded her because I thought it was hilarious. "The song originally had her voice at the beginning, but it's illegal to record people. I was in the toilet queue before, so I don't know how to find her. Wherever you are out there, you're my inspiration!" Meanwhile, Olivia also revealed that therapy has helped her to overcome her self-doubts. The singer shared: "There was a big chunk of time where I was in a pattern of being very self-critical – to the point where you just feel so s*** about yourself, comparing your beginning point to everyone else's finished product. "That is just the thief of joy. I was honestly in quite a depressive state. I got out of it: I've been doing therapy and learning how I function and what environment I function best in. Therapy is awesome."

Rihanna feels she identifies with Smurfette "a lot". The 37-year-old singer voiced the blonde-haired blue cartoon character in the 2025 musical-fantasy-comedy film Smurfs, and Rihanna admits she shares her alter-ego's tough, fearless and determined character traits. She told the new issue of Britain's HELLO! magazine: "She's still a girl's girl but she is also tough, which I love. "She's not afraid of anything, or anyone. She's a leader, determined, and she never gives up. I really feel like I identify with her a lot." And with the help from new pals, they "must discover what defines their destiny to save the universe". Rihanna - who contributed music to the film's soundtrack - hopes the movie will make audiences realise that they can achieve anything in life, as well as the importance of teamwork. She said: "I hope they have fun watching it and come away with the positive message that, to achieve anything in life, [it] takes a team. "We all need a strong team around us. I know I do."
