There's been so much craze surrounding the movie, that there was a huge jump in the Sunday numbers.
As the film continues to woo the audience, it is expected that 'Saiyaara' will remain steady even on Monday and that will be a huge factor in deciding the upcoming week trend of the film.
While on Saturday, it made Rs 25 crore, the number on day 3 which is Sunday saw a growth further. The movie made Rs 35.75 crore on day 3. Now on Monday, up till afternoon, the movie has made Rs 5.62 crore.
Thus, the total collection now stands at Rs 88.87 crore, according to Sacnilk. This is a historic run for a movie with newcomers. If the film remains steady on Monday even in the night shows, it may end up crossing Rs 100 crore on day 4 which will be another feat.
There's just positive word of mouth surrounding the movie and as per Box Office India, it has done an unthinkable business in some mass centres of North, Bihar, West Bengal and Rajasthan and CI.
Usually, it's only movies which do well in multiplex and single screens both, which manage to get those numbers and shockingly, 'Saiyaara' isn't just appealing to the youth at multiplexes in big cities but also small centres.
That perhaps has got to do with the film's music and the '
' nostalgia which the film is bringing. Many are also feeling that this one could just be 'Aashiqui 3'.

Unfortunately, the film received mostly mixed reviews from the audiences. One of the major drawbacks were said to be the poor VFX works in this Pawan Kalyan starrer. An excerpt from ETimes review for the film reads, "MM Keeravaani's rousing background score is a clear highlight. The supporting cast is underutilised. Bobby Deol brings quiet menace as Aurangzeb but appears only briefly. Other actors, including Sathyaraj, Nassar, Sachin Khedekar, Subbaraju, Sunil, Raghu Babu, and Kota Srinivasa Rao (in his final appearance), are present but given little scope." Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda have become the talk of the town with their debut film Saiyaara, which is smashing records at the box office. According to the latest update by Sacnilk, the romantic drama has now crossed Rs 190 crore in just 8 days, making it one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. On its second Friday, Saiyaara added Rs 17.50 crore to its tally, pushing the total box office collection to Rs 190 crore. The film had a record-breaking opening with Rs 21.5 crore on day one and saw its highest single-day figure on Sunday at Rs 35.75 crore. Despite being a weekday release, Saiyaara managed to maintain a strong grip at the box office throughout the week, ending its first week at a massive Rs 172.75 crore. The Ahaan Panday-Aneet Padda starrer is now outperforming several Bollywood biggies. With its latest collection, Saiyaara has surpassed the lifetime business of Sikandar, Sitaare Zameen Par, and Akshay Kumar's Housefull 5, which ended its run at Rs 183.3 crore. With no major releases this Friday—Ajay Devgn's Son of Sardaar 2 has been postponed to August 1—Saiyaara is expected to continue its blockbuster run through its second weekend as well. Directed by Shiv Rawail and produced by Yash Raj Films' CEO Akshaye Widhani, Saiyaara revolves around the love story of Krish Kapoor, an aspiring musician played by Ahaan Panday, and Vaani Batra, portrayed by Aneet Padda. The film explores their romance and heartbreak, especially after a dramatic twist forces Vaani to walk away from Krish. Critics and audiences alike have praised the film's fresh storytelling, the sizzling chemistry between the leads, and its chartbuster music, which has become a viral sensation. With glowing word-of-mouth and no competition in theatres, Saiyaara is well on its way to entering the Rs 200 crore club soon.
