Wisconsin football key 2026 target announces commitment date
Duncum released that decision date on Monday afternoon. The three-star lineman is currently choosing between Wisconsin, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, and Kentucky.
247Sports currently ranks the Austin, Texas, native as the No. 91 defensive lineman in the class of 2026 and the No. 107 recruit from his home state. The recruiting service has yet to log a crystal ball prediction for his commitment decision. It does note that he took official visits to Oklahoma State on June 5, Wisconsin on June 13, Kansas State on June 16 and Kentucky on June 20. For what it's worth, On3 lists Kentucky as the prohibitive favorite at 89.6%.
Wisconsin's class of 2026 currently ranks No. 40 in the nation with 13 commitments. That group has two defensive linemen committed: Djidjou Bah and Arthur Scott. Duncum's potential addition would further bolster the position, plus give the class its first commitment since June 15.
However, as of June 24, Wisconsin would need to pull a last-minute shocker to lure the three-star defensive lineman away from the Wildcats.

Jase Summy adds Western Amateur, the 'biggest win of my life,' to Walker Cup resumé
Few players, if any, have had better summers than Ethan Fang. The Oklahoma State standout helped the Cowboys to an NCAA Championship in late May before flying across the pond and becoming the first American to win the British Amateur in nearly 20 years. After narrowly missing the cut at The Open, Fang co-medaled at this week's Western Amateur before storming through to the final with convincing wins over Huge Le Goff and Jacob Modleski, plus a hard-fought 3-and-1 result against Ben James. Like James, Fang is already on the U.S. Walker Cup team that will compete at Cypress Point this September. So, too, are Jackson Koivun, Michael La Sasso and Preston Stout, which leaves five spots still up for grabs. But on Saturday afternoon at Skokie Country Club, Jase Summy entered the chat. Summy, a rising senior at Oklahoma, dominated Fang, 6 and 5, to win the 123rd edition of the Western Amateur and tie the championship record for largest margin of victory in a final, equaling 6-and-5 marks by Phelps B. Hoyt (1901 over Bruce D. Smith) and John Klauk (2002 over Adam Rubinson). 'This is the biggest win of my life – by far,' Summy said. 'I knew my game was there, but I hadn't quite broken through. Today, I did.' Fang, ranked third in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, took just one hole against Summy, whom he grew up playing junior golf against in Texas. Fresh off a 19-hole victory over Florida's Zack Swanwick, Summy won five of the last six to end things before the 14th hole. 'It was a good week,' Fang said. 'Stroke play went great, and I was proud to co-medal. I did my best to stay focused, but I got a little tired and a little loose near the end. It didn't go my way, but that's golf.' Summy is projected to rise to seventh in the world, and with a T-3 at the Southern Amateur and T-12 at the Northeast Amateur this summer following a junior season that included a win and six other top-10s, he should feel confident about getting the call for Cypress. The final five Walker Cuppers are named after the U.S. Amateur, which begins a week from Monday at Olympic Club in San Francisco. With his win, Summy also received a sponsor exemption into next summer's NV5 Invitational, the Korn Ferry Tour stop outside of Chicago. 'This was a long, tough week,' Summy added. 'I prepared the right way, mentally and physically. I know I'm on the right path.'

Oregon Ducks land commitment from 5-star DB Davon Benjamin
Dand Lanning and the Oregon Ducks filled the summer offseason months with a lot of recruiting wins, and it doesn't appear that they are slowing down now that we're getting into fall, either. 5-star cornerback Davon Benjamin picked Oregon over the likes of the Texas Longhorns and Michigan Wolverines on Saturday afternoon. The 247Sports Composite rates Benjamin as the No. 35 overall player in the 2026 class, and the No. 4 safety. He stands at 6-foot, 170 pounds. While he is listed at safety, there is an expectation that he will move around in the secondary for Oregon. Benjamin is the Ducks' 17th member of the 2026 class, and the fifth 5-star player, which is the most in the nation. Ahead of Saturday, Oregon had the No. 8 class in the nation, but with the addition of Benjamin, they move up to No. 7. The commitment doesn't come as a major surprise, seeing as there was a crystal ball prediction from the 247Sports recruiting staff for Benjamin to pick the Ducks. With Benjamin now in the mix, Oregon wrapped up the remaining major targets left on its board. Over the next several months throughout the season, there are some players out there who the Ducks will likely work on trying to flip from other schools, and new prospects could pop onto the radar, but Oregon's class in 2026 has shaped up nicely. Colorado football's 2026 offer letters are out of this world
Deion Sanders is quite possibly college football's leader when it comes to swag, and he has brought every ounce of his bravado to the Colorado Buffaloes football team. He has brought in refreshed uniforms, new gear and a superior culture that was severely lacking before his arrival. That swag is, of course, a significant presence in recruiting, and it put the program's 2026 offer letters over the top. The official offers were sent out to Colorado's class of 2026 verbal commits, and as of Friday evening, there are ten. Colorado's top-rated commit, defensive back Preston Ashley, showed off the letter in a social media post. The offer letter includes trading cards of each coach on Colorado's staff, with each emphasizing the NFL experience that is so abundant. Each card features a picture of the coach with their former NFL team, along with a couple of seemingly exclusive cards of Deion Sanders himself. It truly is a unique and creative way to showcase the coaching talent currently in Boulder to recruits. Each letter also comes with a personalized trading card that resembles a one-of-one collectible card.
