Can Jaguars' HC Liam Coen get Anton Harrison back on track?
Over the course of the season, Harrison allowed just 27 pressures and five sacks on 701 pass-block attempts. His pressure rate allowed of just 3.9% ranked ninth among NFL tackles, according to Pro Football Focus.

Unfortunately, as did much of the Jaguars' team, Harrison's numbers regressed in 2024. Last season, Harrison's pressure rate allowed rose to 5.3%, 36th among 75 qualifying NFL tackles, more or less league average.
Harrison's season got off to an ugly start, allowing two sacks and four pressures in week one against the Miami Dolphins. The very next week, Harrison allowed three more to the Cleveland Browns.
His struggles would continue until week seven. From weeks one to six, Harrison allowed a 7.0% pressure rate, an undoubtedly ugly figure. He found himself near the bottom of the league.

Harrison did begin to find himself towards the middle of the season. From week seven on, Harrison had a much more respectable 4.4% pressure allowed, not great but certainly an improvement upon his ugly start to the season.

If he would've kept tha pace the entire season, Harrison would have ranked near 22nd among offensive tackles. His run-blocking also needs work as he's graded near the bottom of the league in that department.
There are not many reliable run-blocking metrics yet, however, his run-blocking grade from PFF ranked 58th. His run-blocking did noticeably improve this season, however, so there is hope for continued improvement.

Liam Coen was able to immediately turn Tampa Bay's offensive line and rushing attack into one of the best in the NFL in just a single season. Harrison has all the talent in the world to become one of the league's premier tackles and has shown excellence in pass-protection already.
If Coen can get Harrison back on track, the Jaguars offense will immediately become that much scarier. This is the opportunity for the Jaguars to draft one of the top tackles in the draft and create competition for Walker Little or Harrison as well.
With a fresh start to next season and a new offensive system, Harrison has the ability to reconstitute himself as the team's right tackle of the future. He might just have to fend off a top shelf rookie to do so, but the presence of Coen may help Harrison more than any other player on this roster.

It showed in Jalen Hurts' passing numbers and in Brown's receiving production as well. Dealing with injuries at times, Brown appeared in just 13 games for Philadelphia last year. He caught just 67 passes, which was by far his lowest since joining the Eagles. The star wide receiver still cracked the 1,000-yard mark, but not by much. He reached the endzone for seven touchdowns. Despite a lack of regular-season production, Brown would shine throughout the playoffs. In four games, he produced a playoff career-high 163 yards and scored twice. Former Panthers draft pick retires on Sunday
A hog molly has called it quits on his football career. As announced by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday morning, offensive lineman Dennis Daley has been placed on the reserve/retired list. The soon-to-be 29-year-old played his first three NFL seasons with the Carolina Panthers. Daley, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla. native, was drafted by the Panthers in the sixth round of the 2019 draft. The University of South Carolina product went on to start nine games at left tackle as a rookie. The 2020 and 2021 campaigns saw Daley start in 12 of his 20 outings for Carolina. In addition to left tackle, where he recorded 924 total snaps as a Panther, he also lined up at left guard (336 snaps) and right guard (124). Carolina, in August of 2022, traded Daley and a 2024 seventh-round pick to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for a 2024 fifth-rounder. That fifth-round selection was eventually traded by the Panthers to the Indianapolis Colts in their move up for second-round running back Jonathon Brooks. Former star Alabama cornerback reportedly signs with NFL team
According to a report Saturday from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, former Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback Levi Wallace is signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a free agent. Wallace, a seven-year NFL veteran, had yet to sign with a team this offseason, and was among the list of former Alabama players still remaining in free agency. The former Alabama cornerback most recently played with the Denver Broncos during the 2024 season, starting 2-of-13 games played. During that span, Wallace had 28 tackles, which was the lowest total of his career, along with two passes defensed. Over his seven previous seasons in the league, Wallace has compiled 333 career tackles with seven TFL and 12 interceptions across 96 career games, 72 of which he started. Undrafted out of Alabama back in 2018, Jacksonville will also be Wallace's fourth NFL team, joining the Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Broncos.
