Who do you have more faith in reviving a really bad offensive ecosystem?

Ben Johnson in Chicago, or Liam Cohen in Jacksonville this season?
Even though I'm in love with Thomas, and Hunter's going to be a great pro.
I, I don't know how much will happen right away, because I think Hunter needs to be the alpha initially, and Hunter will play some on defense.
But the overall pieces in Chicago are so much deeper, right?
I mean, they have this, they have five really good, probably pass catchers and they've upgraded the offensive line.
I mean, every team, what team says, Oh, you know, we kind of let the offensive line slip.
I guess the Lions, because they had a retirement, you can point to them, but every team says, we've upgraded the offensive line.

Right?
It's like 28 teams are claiming that right now, and we know that won't prove to be true, but Ben Johnson has a longer track record and he's just got more to work with.
So I, I have to feel better about the situation in Chicago.
I wish they were an indoor team, maybe, because the weather could be a factor in the second half of the year.
But Caleb Williams just set up to fail last year with Waldron.
We talked about it, even though he did have that moment in Seattle.
He's not a coordinator that we trust a lot, with Levitan and Silva always calling him Shane Froudron, I think it's what they call Shane Waldron Waldron.

So, um, not, not bad as a compliment, of course, but, um, they gave, I, I, I make the joke that Caleb Williams got everything he wanted for Christmas, right?
Cause what does every quarterback want?
Hey, uh, a better line would be nice.
How about another receiver?
How about an impact tight end?
Yeah, check, check, check.
We got all those guys and everybody on the team who was good last year came back.
DJ Moore's back, A Donze is back.
You know, I don't know what they're going to do in the running back room, but maybe that means they'll throw the ball a little bit more.
Uh, the Bears are a fascinating team to watch because, again, again, you talk about, you know, sometimes these coordinators, when they become head coaches.

I mentioned Josh McDaniels earlier, great coordinator.
Horrible head coach; a lot of that had to do with his people skills.
But, you know, Ben Johnson and Liam Cohen are now responsible for the entire roster and responsible for all the media demands, and they're the face of the franchise now.
And for every Andy Reid or Sean McVay who can handle that, there are a lot of guys who can't.
You know, Sean Payton, obviously another hit there.
You know, we'll see what Kellen Moore does with the Saints, you know, who's a well-thought of designer and all that, but, um, some guys are meant to be coordinators; so we're gonna learn a lot about who Cohen and Johnson really are this season.

Former Dodgers Champion Gavin Lux Linked to Move to Mets
Former Dodgers Champion Gavin Lux Linked to Move to Mets originally appeared on Athlon Sports. There have been a few things the Los Angeles Dodgers have shown in recent years. To start, the Dodgers are willing to spend money with any team in the league. Advertisement In addition, the Dodgers aren't afraid to make business decisions, and that was the case with Gavin Lux this past offseason. They moved on from Lux, a decision that was the right one. While the former first-round pick of the Dodgers in the 2016 MLB draft was a big part in Los Angeles at times, he's hitting .272 with four home runs and a 103 OPS+ for the Cincinnati Reds. Simply put, he isn't exactly missed. But with the Reds playing the type of baseball they are, Yahoo Sports recently linked him to a trade to the New York Mets. The Reds are currently in fourth place in the National League Central with a record of 44-41, which isn't bad, but it wouldn't be surprising to see them make a trade or two. Advertisement Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts provided updates on Mookie Betts and the latest roster Heitman-Imagn Images If so, the Mets could make sense for the former Dodgers second baseman. 'The Mets could use a lot of help right now, and while starting pitching is the primary concern at this point, when you lose 13 of 16 games, there are many areas to improve. Despite a huge month from Juan Soto, the Mets' offense has been pretty average thus far, and one of the most significant holes in their lineup is at second base. 'While Ronnie Mauricio and Luisangel Acuña are talented, neither has been able to take hold of the position. And with Jeff McNeil playing multiple places around the diamond, having someone who can play second on days McNeil is in the outfield or at third would be helpful... Gavin Lux (Reds),' they wrote. Advertisement The Mets, two games behind the first-place Philadelphia Phillies in the National League East, are expected to be heavily involved during the trade deadline. Adding Lux doesn't put them over the top, but he'd be better than what they currently have.
