This new feature at INDYCAR.com will show special, one-off liveries that teams will race at NTT INDYCAR SERIES events this season.
The first installment focuses on The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio Presented by the All-New 2026 Passport on Sunday, July 6 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course (1 p.m. ET, FOX, FOX Sports app, INDYCAR Radio Network).
Kyle Kirkwood – Andretti Global
Andretti Global will run a special Honda-inspired livery for Kirkwood, who has won three races this season in his Honda-powered No. 27 car.
The Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course holds special meaning for Honda, with the manufacturer's Marysville Auto Plant under an hour away from the track. With more than 12,000 employee tickets distributed, the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio is a centerpiece in Honda's impressive motorsports calendar. The Fourth of July race weekend also marks a major milestone for the Honda organization and the NTT INDYCAR SERIES – the one-year anniversary of the debut of the hybrid unit, a movement Honda has helped lead both on and off the track.
Honda has won all nine races so far this season, with Alex Palou claiming six wins and Kirkwood three.
Alex Palou – Chip Ganassi Racing
OpenAI, one of the world's leading artificial intelligence organizations, is expanding its partnership with Chip Ganassi Racing to become the primary partner at this event.
Palou has won six races this season and leads the NTT INDYCAR SERIES championship.
Felix Rosenqvist – Meyer Shank Racing w/Curb-Agajanian
Rosenqvist's livery will pay tribute to legendary hard rock front man Ozzy Osbourne and his band, Black Sabbath.
The No. 60 Honda will sport a striking purple livery inspired by primary sponsor SiriusXM's Ozzy's Boneyard (channel 38) channel, which features hard rock and heavy metal classics curated under the influence of Ozzy.
The special livery also celebrates a monumental moment in music history: Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath's upcoming 'Final Show at the Back to the Beginning' concert on July 5 in Birmingham, England. The concert will feature icons like Metallica, Slayer, Alice in Chains and more.

2026 NFL Draft Summer Scouting Report: James Brockermeyer, C, Miami (FL)

Summer is here, and it is everyone's favorite time of the year, scouting time. Every year, we do Summer Scouting to preview college football for Bucs fans, but also give them an idea of names to follow and watch in the fall as needs pop up for Tampa Bay. Are we going to write about quarterbacks? You know it, but why? Because other NFL teams will draft them, just as they will draft every other position. It all matters whether these players end up on the Bucs, the Bears, or the Steelers. We write these so Bucs fans can be the most informed fans. So if you are still with us, enjoy our latest Summer Scouting report as we prepare you for the Fall. Player Information Player: James Brockermeyer School: Miami (FL) Height/Weight: 6-3/295 lbs. Player Background - 4-Star Recruit - Under Armour All-American - Transferred from Alabama to TCU to Miami (FL) - All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in 2024 Career Stats Heading into the 2025 Season - 28 Career Games - 26 Career Starts Notable PFF Numbers Heading into the 2025 Season - 67.7 PFF Run Blocking Grade - 81.1 PFF Pass Blocking Grade - 343 Run Blocking Snaps - 506 Pass Blocking Snaps Player Traits - Will finish blocks and take defenders out of plays - Can be lean-looking but uses his weight and leverage well - Good initial punch into defenders - Good anchor ability - Can recover well if beaten by defenders Player Summary James Brockermeyer has been in the college ranks for years now, but he has yet to build up a strong resume. Last year at TCU, he finally showed some promise with some meaningful reps. He demonstrated good power and punch ability into defenders, as well as a good base to handle pass rushers. He looks lean on film but he has some good leverage skills, and it allows him to not get beaten as often as you would think when watching him. At this point, Brockermeyer needs more reps, plain and simple. Once he gets that, we could be looking at a reliable interior offensive lineman in the NFL.

(AP Photo/Mike Stewart) NEW YORK (AP) — New York Mets reliever José Buttó was put on the 15-day injured list Friday with an unspecified illness. 'We're not going to get into the details of it out of respect of Buttó, but we don't anticipate this being a long term,' Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said. 'We expect him to be back right after the All-Star break.' Advertisement Mendoza said he didn't anticipate that Buttó will need to go on a minor league injury rehabilitation assignment. A 27-year-old right-hander, Buttó is 2-1 with a 2.47 ERA in 31 relief appearances, the last a two-inning outing at Pittsburgh last Saturday. New York recalled right-hander Chris Devenski from Triple-A Syracuse. Brought up for the fourth time this season, the 34-year-old right-hander has made four appearances for the Mets. Right-hander Kodai Senga, sidelined since June 12 by a strained right hamstring, is to start a rehab assignment Saturday with Double-A Binghamton. He is to throw 60-65 pitches, according to Mendoza, and soon could return to New York's injury-ravaged rotation. 'We'll see how it goes tomorrow and then see how he responds and we'll have a decision after that,' Mendoza said. Advertisement New York didn't have an update on reliever Dedniel Núñez, who was put on the IL on Thursday because of a sprained right elbow sprain and could require Tommy John surgery for the second time. 'He's going to to visit a doctor next week because of a holiday weekend,' Mendoza said. ___ AP MLB:

Phillies demote rookie pitcher Mick Abel to Triple-A two months after MLB debut

PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Phillies demoted rookie right-hander Mick Abel, who has struggled since he struck out nine in his major league debut, to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. The Phillies also recalled reliever Seth Johnson from Lehigh Valley ahead of Friday's game against Cincinnati. The 23-year-old Abel made six starts for the Phillies and went 2-2 with 5.04 ERA with 21 strikeouts and nine walks. 'Mick needed to go down and breathe a little bit,' manager Rob Thomson said. 'Just get a little reset. It's not uncommon.' A 6-foot-5 right-hander selected 15th overall by the Phillies in the 2020 amateur draft, Abel dazzled against Pittsburgh in May when his nine strikeouts tied a Phillies high for a debut, set by Curt Simmons against the New York Giants on Sept. 28, 1947. He hasn't pitched beyond the fifth inning in any of his last four starts and was rocked for five runs in 1 2/3 innings on Wednesday against San Diego. Abel was 3-12 with a 6.46 ERA last year for Lehigh Valley, walking 78 in 108 2/3 innings. He improved to 5-2 with a 2.53 ERA in eight minor league starts this year, walking 19 in 46 1/3 innings. 'This guy's had a really good year,' Thomson said. 'His poise, his composure is outstanding. He's really grown. We just need to get back to that. Just attack the zone and get through adversity.' The Phillies will give Taijuan Walker another start in Abel's place against San Francisco. Walker has bounced between the rotation and the bullpen over the last two seasons. He has made eight starts with 11 relief appearances this season and is 3-5 with one save and a 3.64 ERA. Thomson said he had not made a final decision on who will be the fifth starter after the All-Star break. Top prospect Andrew Painter has two more scheduled starts in Triple-A before the MLB All-Star break and could earn a spot in the rotation.
