‘John Wick Experience' Opens Doors In Las Vegas; First Photos Unveiled
John Wick filmmaker Chad Stahelski and his team at 87Eleven Entertainment were creative collaborators on the experience, from design to special stunt work. The fun spot is based on the billion-dollar Lionsgate franchise and counts more than a dozen themed rooms from the pics, as well as live interactions and interactive game play.

Each group of guests passing through the John Wick Experience are tasked with completing a mission that plays out in unique ways with characters, mythology, and iconography inspired by the feature film universe. Visitors may rub elbows or grab a drink with John Wick Continental Las Vegas staff, assassins, crime bosses, or other curious guests like themselves The roughly 12,000-square-foot ticketed attraction includes two themed bars and a retail shop.
To bring audiences into the world of Wick, Lionsgate and Stahelski worked closely with Egan Productions, the producer of the experience. Egan is also Lionsgate's collaborator on two other Las Vegas attractions based on the studio's beloved IP: The Official SAW Escape, which opened in 2018 and was named Best Escape Room by USA Today, and Escape Blair Witch, which opened in 2021.
'In the films, Chad Stahelski has created a complex, alternate reality with exquisite design, deep mythological influence and meticulous action,' said Jenefer Brown, EVP & Head of Global Products and Experiences at Lionsgate. 'The most important part of creating this experience was honoring that and making sure that our guests truly feel like they are part of the world of the films. The John Wick Experience is opening just months before the first John Wick spinoff movie, Ballerina, hits theaters June 6. There's also a second spinoff movie starring Donnie Yen in the works. In addition, Lionsgate is developing the series John Wick: Under the High Table, which Stahelski and Keanu Reeves are executive producing, and the studio has a John Wick AAA video game in the works. John Wick Hex will be delisted from all platforms on July 17
John Wick Hex , a stylish and well-received game based on the John Wick movies, will soon no longer be available to purchase. In a statement on the title's Steam page, publisher Big Fan Games says it will be delisted from all platforms on July 17. After that date, the publisher said, those who have already acquired the tactical action game from a digital storefront will still be able to download it. Physical console copies will still work too. Big Fan didn't provide an explanation as to why John Wick Hex is being removed from storefronts, though licensing issues may be at play. Mike Bithell, creative director at developer Bithell Games, said on BlueSky he was "unable to shed any light" on the reason for the delisting. "This one was a weird journey. [It] initially polarized folks, but now it's one of the consistent favourites people wanna chat with me about when I'm doing public stuff," wrote Bithell , who came to prominence with Thomas Was Alone and whose most recently released game was Tron Catalyst . "My first disappeared game, a weird feeling." It's always a shame to see a game vanish from storefronts. It's terrible for game preservation, and it means those who made the game will never be able to find a larger audience for it. You still have a couple of days to pick up John Wick Hex , however. M&A News: 'A Pure-Play Studio' Lionsgate Studios (NYSE:LION) an Acquisition Target
There was once a time, back when video stores dotted the landscape and buying a DVD at an electronics retailer was a thing of charming simplicity, that movie producer Lionsgate Studios (LION) ruled the landscape in the field of direct-to-video releasing. But those days are gone, perhaps forever, and Lionsgate now finds itself a potential acquisition target. The news did little good for Lionsgate stock, however, as investors sent shares down over 2.5% in the closing minutes of Monday's trading. Backed by Apollo Global Management (APO), Legendary is the studio behind, among other things, the recent hit remake of Dune. After Lionsgate separated itself from the Starz Entertainment Group, which runs the Starz line of cable movie channels as well as a streaming service, Lionsgate proved more attractive to Legendary, reports noted. As a 'pure-play studio,' noted Geetha Ranganathan of Bloomberg Intelligence, the deal makes sense, and reports suggest that the two are already looking into producing some movies together to see how they might work together. Vice chairman Michael Burns described how AI allows Lionsgate to '…make movies and television shows we'd otherwise never make.' The judicious use of AI, reports noted, can cut production costs in half and, just like magic, make a property viable. Is Lionsgate a Good Stock to Buy? Turning to Wall Street, analysts have a Moderate Buy consensus rating on LION stock based on five Buys and two Holds assigned in the past three months, as indicated by the graphic below.
