Princess Eugenie enjoys sun-soaked holiday with A-lister 'brother she never had'

Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda were hosted by their friends Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank at their home in Portugal While many royals are enjoying their summer holidays away from the UK, Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are hosting their A-list friends Robbie Williams and his wife, American actress Ayda Field, for a sun-soaked holiday at their second home in Portugal. ‌ Eugenie, the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, splits her time between her home in Kensington Palace home, Ivy Cottage, and the second holiday home the family own in Portugal. ‌ The celebrity couple and the princess shared a series of snaps on Instagram, as Ayda posted images of the friends bare-faced and smiling after a day in the sunshine. It comes after reports of William and Kate Middleton's fears over move with kids after Royal Family 'bad blood'. ‌ Ayda captioned her post: 'Obrigada', which means 'thank you' in Portuguese - again suggesting that Eugenie was playing hostess. The families were snapped seeing the sights of the Portuguese town, playing time at the beach and indulging in a spot of golf. Eugenie has been close with Robbie and Ayda for many years, with the couple's daughter Teddy even being picked as a flower girl at Eugenie's 2018 wedding to Jack. ‌ Eugenie and her husband are said to know the Williams family very well, with the princess reportedly viewing Robbie Williams as 'the brother she never had'. Robbie and Ayda were first introduced to Eugenie by her mother, Sarah Ferguson, in 2011 after Fergie and Ayda reportedly bonded during a shopping day in St. Barts. ‌ The two women got on well enough for the Williams clan to invite Fergie and her daughters to their house in Los Angeles, and by May of 2011 the family was on close enough terms with the Royals to watch the Eurovision Song Contest at Robbie's house in Wiltshire. Eugenie and Jack own a luxurious villa at the exclusive CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club in Comporta, located on the Alentejan coastal strip, where prices start from a staggering £3.6 million. The couple moved there when Jack began working as a marketing, sales and promotion expert for the super stunning resort. The princess, who has previously shared family photos from their time in Portugal, opened up about her sons' love of the ocean in an exclusive interview with HELLO! last year, as she spoke of August and Ernest, saying: "They love swimming." "The sea in Portugal's a little bit rougher. So we've got our feet in, but Augie is a fish. He literally loves it and we have whales and dolphins all across the walls."

'I've visited every country in world and one surprise nation was hardest to get visa for'

A YouTuber who says he has travelled to every country has revealed how he had to spend thousands going to one place after the task of getting a Visa proved exceptionally difficult A YouTuber who claims to have travelled to "all 197 countries in the world" has revealed which nation was the toughest to obtain a visa for. In recent years, American travel vlogger Drew Binsky has built up a following of over five millions subscribers and millions of views as he documents his travels across all corners of the globe. ‌ In one of his latest videos, he shared the five countries he has found hardest to be granted a visa for. As he reflected on some of his earlier trips, he revealed that four of the five most difficult countries to gain access too were Iran, Eritrea, Syria and Venezuela. ‌ He went on to disclose that it was Libya in North Africa that was the hardest to enter, he said that the "whole process was so confusing" and that it gave him "so much anxiety". ‌ Saying that they don't grant tourist visas, he said that if you do want to visit for a holiday then you will have to opt for a business visa. In order to get the business visa, he said that he had two options, either to go to the Libyan embassy in Washington, DC, USA or take a trip to Rome, Italy. Having opted for the latter, he chose to pay $500 (£375.72) to shorten his wait for the visa from a maximum of 14 days to a shorter period that ended up being five business days. ‌ After finally making it to Libya for a three-day break, he said that the entire expedition, with the visa and his flights to Rome included, set him back by nearly $5,000 (£3,756.97). While forking out the huge amount for the trip, he said: "That's just part of the process, if you want to visit every country that's what you have to do for Libya, all the land borders are closed you have to fly in and have to get it that way and it takes forever, and it's annoying." ‌ Despite the eye-watering cost for such a short visit, he said that he was "super happy" to have made the "awesome" trip. While there are four different types of visa available, the two that Drew referenced were a tourist/visitor and a business visa. Although the rules differ depending on which country you're travelling too, a visitor visa grants people to temporarily visit a country for tourism, visiting family and friends, and some other activities that are also allowed. However, a business visa differs somewhat in that foreign nationals must be visiting in order to carry out business activities including going to meetings or conferences. The exact rules on what constitutes as business activities can vary from country to country.

I quit my life in Scotland to become a US wrestling star

Luke Scouler, from Motherwell, left his job as a residential carer for young people to pursue his dream of being a pro wrestler. In just a few years, Luke, now known to fans as Crixus, has transitioned from sleeping in a gym car park to becoming a breakout star at Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), an American wrestling brand which propelled the careers of John Cena and Dave Batista. The Scottish War Machine, who featured in the hit Netflix documentary Wrestlers, was also crowned OVW's first-ever Scottish champion. He recalled his decision to leave his job and home almost instantly after watching wrestling on TV. Luke said: 'I really loved that job. "But it was tough emotionally. "I've always had a bit of a Batman complex – I thought I was going to save everybody. 'I was in a bad place with it. "I knew it wasn't for me, and I was burned out. "I remember sitting in my house in Newmains watching TV with my dog, Odin, when wrestling came on and I just thought: 'Screw it, let's go.' "Scots have made it big in this business – why couldn't I?" Luke drove to London that same night and enrolled in a wrestling academy run by former WWE star and current OVW head trainer Al Snow. He said: "I drove through the night with no plan and no place to stay. "Me and the dog slept in the car for a bit. "Eventually the guy who ran it asked if I was serious. "I told him I'd already quit my job and left my house. "That was it. "We moved into the gym and didn't go back." Luke joined OVW in 2019 after coming first in a 300-person wrestling combine. However, his career was halted due to Covid, forcing him to stay in the UK for two years. Now based in Kentucky, he is one of the biggest stars at the promotion, and believes his Scottish roots are what set him up for success. Luke said: "We've got thicker skin, especially in Glasgow. "You're battle-ready by the time you leave primary school, so wrestling comes naturally to us. "I'm a smartass cheeky b******, and the accent helps too. "Over here in the States, people already think we're mental which helps. "I just turned my personality up to 11. "I wasn't pretending to be someone else – just the version of me you probably wouldn't want to sit next to in a pub. "I get to act like an a**** and they still love me. "They boo you, but they're cheering underneath." Al Snow, his mentor, believes Luke could be the next big Scottish wrestling star. Read more: ITV viewers 'definitely watching' new David Tennant drama with 'fantastic cast' He said: "With the success of Joe Hendry and Drew McIntyre, Scotland is increasingly a potential source of talent. "With Crixus, we may have another superstar on our hands. "His dedication has been incredible. "To make it in this business, you have to sacrifice and do things out of the ordinary. "And that's why I think he's got what it takes."
