A 31-ton tractor full of animal waste smashed through a row of terraced houses after a drug driver sped through a red light and collided with the farming vehicle.
Matthew Cumpsty had snorted cocaine before driving his Mercedes E-Class through the traffic lights on Green Lane, Chester, in April.
Footage then shows him hitting a JCB pulling a double axle agricultural tanker full of animal waste.
The tractor and trailer ploughed through a row of houses, taking away parts of the exterior.
One person had to flee his home in his pyjamas while his furniture spilled onto the garden during the crash.
It was sown to 'pure chance' no residents were injured – with only one property being deemed structurally unsafe after the crash.
Appearing at Chester Crown Court, Cumpsty plead guilty to drug driving and was handed a 12 month community order, including 200 hours community service. More Trending
The 52-year-old, of Oldfield Drive, Great Boughton, was also ordered to pay £85 costs and £114 surcharge.
Police Constable Richard Phillips, said: 'While Cumpsty has shown remorse for his actions, The impact of his actions that day were lifechanging and it was pure chance that nobody suffered any serious injuries.
'As a result of one bad decision to get behind the wheel while under the influence, several families were left homeless and commuters travelling into Chester were left with serious disruption for several weeks while repair work was undertaken.
'In addition, Cumpsty is facing a lengthy driving ban, I hope that this ban will give him time to reflect on his actions that day.'

Man guilty of murdering couple before dumping their remains in suitcases

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video A man who murdered two men and dumped their remains in suitcases near Clifton Suspension Bridge has been found guilty of murder. Yostin Andres Mosquera, 35, killed civil partners Albert Alfonso, 62, and Paul Longworth, 71, on July 8 last year in their flat in Scotts Road, Shepherd's Bush, west London. Mosquera, who was also staying with the couple, 'decapitated and dismembered' them, froze parts of their remains and brought the rest in suitcases to Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol. He repeatedly stabbed Alfonso, who suffered injuries to his torso, face and neck, while Longworth was attacked with a hammer to the back of his head and his skull shattered. Mosquera planned to hurl the suitcases over the bridge to dispose of the remains after the 'calculated and premeditated' killings, prosecutor Deanna Heer KC said. He admitted killing Alfonso but said he 'lost control'. He pleaded not guilty to murdering both men and insisted Alfonso killed Longworth. It took a jury five hours and three minutes to unanimously find Mosquera guilty. Justice Bennathan KC, said he would sentence Mosquera on October 24, saying: 'I am not going to pass sentence on you today, although the only one I can pass on you is one of life imprisonment. 'I am going to order a psychiatric report on you. It is in your interests to cooperate with the psychiatrist so that I can decide the minimum term you are going to serve.' Days after the murders, a cyclist on Clifton Suspension Bridge in Brighton spotted Mosquera around 11.30 pm next to a large red suitcase. The cyclist thought he was a tourist and stopped to ask if he was okay. He noticed a silver trunk a few metres away from Mosquera. The defendant told the cyclist he was from Colombia and that the suitcases contained car parts – but they contained the dismembered bodies of Longworth and Alfonso. Alfonso and Longworth's decapitated heads were found by police in a chest freezer in their flat, the court heard. Alfonso, a swimming instructor, and Longworth, a retired handyman, had been living together before their death. On July 8 last year, Alfonso worked an early shift at the gym, and it was while he was out, Mosquera killed Longworth, the court heard. More Trending Alfonso was killed at about 10.15 pm in his bedroom, before searching Facebook Marketplace to search for a freezer, and he searched 'where on the head is a knock fatal' on Google and YouTube. Footage shown in court showed Mosquera later having sex with Alfonso, before ending the sexual encounter by 'repeatedly stabbing' Alfonso and 'cutting his throat'. He then started using Alfonso's computer, and examination of the computer shows the defendant looking at banking information – before trying to send £4,000 to his account in Colombia. Mosquero was arrested on July 13 at about 2.15 am after being found sitting on a bench outside Bristol Temple Meads railway station, the jury was told. Hollyoaks 'confirms' more deaths in Summer Trailer as killer Jez is caught out

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video The moment Hollyoaks fans have longed for is almost upon us, as confirmed in the show's brand new Summer Trailer, with the truth about Jez Blake (Jeremy Sheffield) finally set to be revealed. Jez, as viewers know, has been claiming lives in abundance, having started killing from a young age, with mum Martha (Sherrie Hewson) covering up his crimes. Since arriving in the village last year (two years in-universe following the time jump), he has murdered Dilly Harcourt (Emma Johnsey-Smith), Abe Fielding (Tyler Conti) and social worker Ian Stone. He's also claimed the life of Dennis Savage (Joe Tracini) and started an affair with Liberty (Jessamy Stoddart), all the while preparing to tie the knot with John Paul McQueen (James Sutton). Fans have waited eagerly to see the killer get his comeuppance and while we've yet to find out if he does, in fact, pay for his crimes, the brand new Summer Trailer confirms that Sienna (Anna Passey) finally sees him for who he truly is, which leaves her in serious danger. Buckle up fans, you're in for one dramatic summer! With so much to digest in the preview as Hollyoaks brings back its six weeks of summer theme, Metro thought it fitting to take a deeper dive into the new trailer to look closely at what's to come. With Jez imminently set to tie the knot on-screen, Hollyoaks has teased the outcome of the wedding, with John Paul left in tears in upcoming scenes as Jez talks about embracing his true killer nature. Meanwhile, Sienna -who is aware of some of his crimes after she helped him cover up Dilly's death earlier this year – comes to discover that Jez has been harbouring many murderous secrets as she breaks down at the allotment before demanding the truth. The much-loved character is left in danger as she speeds across the city walls, presumably from her murderous father, but will she manage to get to safety and expose Jez for who he truly is? The trailer also appears to imply that Jez commits another murder as he's seen seemingly strangling someone at the shed. But who is it? And hostage Robbie is also freed, with the short preview teasing him in the village – but will he manage to evade Jez's evil grip and perhaps assist Sienna in exposing the dastardly patriarch's murderous ways? There will be heartbreak this Summer for HayRay fans, with Dillon set to confess his feelings for boyfriend Lucas' dad Ste in a very unexpected turn of events. The scales fall from Ste's eyes in the wake of Dillon's admission, but is this the beginning of a love triangle? Or is Lucas still the one for Dillon? Either way, Lucas won't be too happy when he learns what's happened given all that he and Dillon have been through – with the couple deciding to give things another go just a matter of weeks ago. After giving it some thought, Rex decides to blow the whistle on human trafficking sisters Clare and Grace, landing the pair of them behind bars. But it seems they might have some help from estranged grandfather Froggy – whether they want it or not! – as she makes quite a debut, claiming that he wants to reconnect with the siblings. Clare, however, makes it quite clear that she wants nothing less, urging the baddie to stay away from her and Grace. More Trending The question is: Just how bad is Froggy if even the almighty villain that is Clare Devine wants nothing to do with him? With The Dog finally set to reopen its doors and a romance on the cards for he and Diane, Tony is on cloud nine. But Bobby's escape from prison threatens to destroy everything as he struggles with the fact the teen killed Verity. Mercedes, meanwhile, harbours Bobby at the McQueen residence and Tony finds himself heading down a dark and dangerous path – one that Diane is determined to save her one true love from. A party hotel in Ibiza has suspended its events after a third British tourist died at the venue. The 19-year-old, who has not been named died in a fall from the third floor of Ibiza Rocks Hotel in San Antonio in the early hours of this morning, according to police. It comes after Evan Thomson, 26, from Aberdeen, fell and died at the same four-star hotel at a belated birthday celebration last week, on July 7. And on April 30, a 33-year-old British woman collapsed and died in her room there. Spanish media reported at the time that the unnamed woman was suffering health problems. In the latest incident, two ambulances rushed to the hotel after reports the teenager had fallen around 12.30am today. A spokesperson for the local police said this morning: 'We are investigating the death of a 19-year-old British man at a hotel in San Antonio in Ibiza. 'The fall was from from the third floor of the hotel to an outside part of the complex. 'Court officials authorised the removal of his body at 2.40am this morning. 'The fall could be accidental based on the early information obtained from cameras but as part of the investigation possible witnesses will need to be located and interviewed.' 'The results of the post-mortem will also be important to the investigation.' The hotel posted on its social media that they were 'deeply shocked' by the recent incidents at the hotel. More Trending It added: 'Given the seriousness of the situation and out of respect for those involved, we believe it is right to pause our advertised events programme at this time. All customers will be informed directly via email.' It said the safety and wellbeing of its guests has and always will remain their highest priority. 'Our priority is to support those affected and their loved ones during this incredibly difficult time and to fully assist the authorities with their investigations,' it wrote. More to come.
