What time is Manny Pacquiao vs. Mario Barrios? Walkouts for boxing title fight

USA Today19-07-2025
For the first time in nearly four years, fight fans will see Manny Pacquiao back in the ring. The Filipino legend's fight against WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios, scheduled for 12 rounds, takes place Saturday, July 19 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
This marks the first time Pacquiao, 46, has fought since August 2021 when he dropped a unanimous decision to Yordenis Ugas. Against Barrios, 30, Pacquiao will try to make history again as the oldest man to win a welterweight title. Pacquiao (62-8-2) already owns that distinction as, in July 2019, he defeated Keith Thurman by split decision to claim the WBA welterweight title at 40.
Barrios was a perfect 26-0 before losing two consecutive fights against Gervonta Davis (June 2021) and Thurman (February 2022). Since then, Barrios (29-2-1) is 3-0-1 with wins over Jovanie Santiago, Ugas, Fabian Maidana, and most recently a split draw with Abel Ramos last November on the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson undercard.
Will Pacquiao do the unthinkable and pull off the win as a +210 betting underdog (via FanDuel)? We'll find out Saturday night in "Sin City."
When does the Manny Pacquiao vs. Mario Barrios card start?
The Pacquiao vs. Barrios lineup consists of seven fights, with prelims beginning at 5:30 p.m. ET and the main card at 8 p.m. ET.
Manny Pacquiao vs. Mario Barrios walkout time
As the main event, Pacquiao and Barrios are expected to make their walks to the ring at approximately 11 p.m. ET.
The fight streams on PBC pay-per-view (available on Prime Video) for $79.95.

Top-10 contenders Duarte and Sims clash in an eliminator for the WBA super lightweight title currently held by Gary Antuanne Russell. Duarte (29-2-1, 23 KOs) has won three fights in a row since being knocked out by Ryan Garcia in December 2023 after a competitive effort. He defeated two-time title challenger Botirzhon Akhmedov this past November and became the first man to stop Miguel Madueno in February. Sims (22-2-1, 8 KOs) fell short twice on the SHOBox development series but has remained unbeaten since 2018. Sims stopped Jonathan Romero in his Golden Boy debut in August 2024. Duarte and Sims were supposed to clash this past November, but an injury forced Sims out, and Duarte fought Akhmedov instead. The pair shared a card in February before their 50-50 clash this Saturday, with Duarte stopping Madueno and Sims defeating Kendo Castaneda. Braves vs. Reds odds, picks: How to bet on Saturday's MLB game at Bristol Motor Speedway

The Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds will play under the bright lights of Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday night, becoming the first MLB teams to play a game at a NASCAR race track. Some handicappers will do their best to break down the dimensions and the weather to come up with some park factors to use in their handicapping, but the truth is that bettors should approach this game like any other in the long MLB season. It's not worth getting too deep in the weeds for one game. The Braves have been a disaster this season, but most of their malaise can be attributed to an unrelenting injury bug. Atlanta is not going to make the playoffs, so Saturday's game likely will be their biggest between now and next season. As for the Reds, they're hanging on by a thread in the NL wild card hunt, and getting out of Bristol with a win is all that matters. You'd think it would be tough sledding for the Reds with Spencer Strider getting the assignment for the Braves, but the former MLB strikeout king has not been himself since returning from Tommy John surgery. Cincinnati Reds pitcher Chase Burns throws during the second inning of a baseball game against the Los Angeles Dodgers, Monday, July 28, 2025, in Cincinnati. AP Learn all you need to know about MLB Betting Strider has essentially rotated between good, mediocre, and poor starts this season, but he will be priced as the favorite against a high-ceiling opponent. Chase Burns, the No. 2 overall pick in 2024, may boast an ugly 6.26 ERA, but he has struck out 36 percent of the batters he's faced. If he can stabilize even a little, the upside is incredible. Strider is getting too much respect for Saturday's contest. The Play: Reds (+114, FanDuel) Why Trust New York Post Betting Michael Leboff is a long-suffering Islanders fan, but a long-profiting sports bettor with 10 years of experience in the gambling industry. He loves using game theory to help punters win bracket pools, find long shots, and learn how to beat the market in mainstream and niche sports.
