AN R&B group that was previously signed to Sean "Diddy" Combs' record label noticed hints when they were just teenagers of the music mogul's aggressive behavior years before his indictment on five federal charges.
The first week of Combs' sex trafficking trial has wrapped up at the federal courthouse in Lower Manhattan with Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura's blockbuster testimony reaching its emotional conclusion on Friday.

Ventura, the disgraced music executive's ex-girlfriend of over a decade, underwent two punishing days of direct examination by the prosecution and another two days of cross-examination by the defense.
The Me & U singer, 38, told jurors of the decades-long domestic violence abuse she suffered at the hands of Combs and went into graphic, disturbing detail about the alleged sex marathons he forced her to participate in with male escorts.
Ventura testified in detail about instances when Combs would get upset and become a "scary and violent" person before his "eyes grew black."
Patrick Breeding, one of the members of the R&B group B5 that was previously signed to Bad Boy Records in the early 2000s, recalled a chilling moment when Combs became aggressive with him over the phone when he was just 14.

"We were making adjustments to it, and [Combs] was like, I don't like that, let's change this. So, when we left rehearsal, he had called.
"I think management was like, let me speak to Patrick. So, I was on the phone talking with [Combs].
"I'm like, 'What's going on?' He's like, 'How's it looking? Have you guys made the changes?'

"And then he kind of just like switched," Patrick said as he snapped his fingers.
"Just switched out of nowhere and started raising his voice. Like, 'No, it ain't. It ain't better.'
"I'm just like, you asked me though, and I'm telling you that it is. Like, it's dope. But he just went off."

ALARMING AGGRESSION
Patrick described how he was shocked by Combs' aggression towards a child.
"I was surprised and shocked because I haven't experienced that," Patrick, one of the group's lead vocalists, added.
"We met him multiple times. We did showcases. So, I was very surprised, and I was kind of like confused like where it was coming from.
"Because we're very professional, and I'm just answering your questions. If it looked bad, I'd be like, yeah bro, we got some work to do, but it looked good."
Another of the brothers in the group, Dustin Breeding, added, "He just didn't like the answer, I guess, it set him off."
Dustin said he was also startled by Combs' hostility over the phone in one conversation.
"For me, I just had an experience with him just kind of jumping on the phone with me. I guess I said something to my mom, which I don't know how he got that information," he said.
"He was yelling at me. I was taken aback a little bit, like, where's this animosity coming from?"
'WILD BOY'
The B5 members, who are all siblings, told The U.S. Sun they were not surprised by the salacious "freak off" details testified by both Ventura and Daniel Phillips, a male stripper who was paid thousands to have sex with Ventura at Combs' request.
"I knew Diddy was a wild boy, I just didn't know he was like that," Dustin said.
"Everybody knew. He was always throwing parties. He was here, there, music, clothing, and also he was the CEO, so he was always all over the place," Patrick added.
Bryan Breeding, one of B5's vocalists, chimed in, saying, "There's traces of it on TV shows. He was on reality shows. So, you can see traces.
"Looking back now, you can see the traces."
Dustin told The U.S. Sun that despite being a young teen at the time, he noticed hints of Combs' wild side.
"There was this unforgivable party we went to, and [there] wasn't anything illegal or anything going on, but you could definitely just tell," he said.
"With the unforgivable party, I could just imagine what others would be like."
Representatives for Combs did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Jury begins deliberating in Sean ‘Diddy' Combs sex trafficking trial

After receiving legal instructions from federal Judge Arun Subramanian, the jury of eight men and four women headed behind closed doors to deliberate on Monday. They will sift through seven weeks of sometimes graphic and emotional testimony about the rap, fashion and reality TV impresario, including drug-fuelled sex marathons dubbed 'freak-offs' or 'hotel nights'. Jurors are being provided with a laptop loaded with all of the exhibits shown in court, including text messages, photographs and videos of the sexual encounters at the heart of the case. As he sent the jury to deliberate, Judge Subramanian told the five alternate jurors to remain on standby in case they are needed to fill in on the main jury. About 10 minutes into deliberations, the jury sent a note indicating they had completed their first order of business: electing a foreperson. Combs, 55, faced his family and supporters, who are in the courtroom gallery, all who were bowing their heads in prayer — his family members holding hands with each other. Combs has pleaded not guilty to charges of racketeering conspiracy, two counts of sex trafficking — relating to two of his ex-girlfriends — and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution for allegedly arranging to fly sex workers across state lines. In closing arguments last week, prosecutors and Combs's defence team took their last shots at convincing jurors to convict or acquit the Grammy Award-winning founder of Bad Boy Records. 'The defendant used power, violence and fear to get what he wanted,' assistant US attorney Christy Slavik said. 'He thought that his fame, wealth and power put him above the law.' Defence lawyer Marc Agnifilo countered: 'This isn't about crime. It's about money.' He noted that one of Combs's accusers in the criminal case also sued him in civil court. In all, 34 witnesses gave evidence, headlined by Combs's former girlfriends Cassie — the R&B singer born Casandra Ventura — and 'Jane' who gave evidence under a pseudonym. Both women said he often was violent towards them and forced them into hundreds of sexual encounters with paid male sex workers. Jurors also saw now-infamous security camera video of Combs beating, kicking and dragging Cassie at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016 and clips from videos of sexual encounters. Combs chose not to give evidence, and his lawyers did not call any witnesses in their defence case. His lawyers elected instead to challenge the accusers' credibility during lengthy cross-examination questioning. The defence has acknowledged that Combs veered into violence, but his lawyers maintain that the sex acts were consensual. They contend that prosecutors are intruding in Combs's personal life and that he has done nothing to warrant the charges against him.

P Diddy trial verdict chaos as jury hands judge two notes before deliberations

Deliberations in Sean "Diddy" Combs' federal sex trafficking trial hit a snag almost as soon as they started on Monday, leaving Judge Arun Subramanian to remind jurors of his instructions on the law Jury deliberations in Sean "Diddy" Combs' federal sex trafficking trial quickly hit a snag yesterday - as two notes were handed to the judge. One message highlighted a juror was concerned they were unable to follow the 61 pages worth of instructions the judge had just read to them before the deliberations started. However, Judge Arun Subramanian insisted all the jurors follow his instructions rigidly - even if deliberations take some time. ‌ The second note - sent several hours later - asked for clarification on the part of the instructions addressing drug distribution — an allegation included in Combs' racketeering conspiracy charge. This was addressed and deliberations continue, with some indication a verdict may be reached this afternoon (UK time). ‌ Diddy, 55, has been charged with two counts of sex trafficking, two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and one count of racketeering. He denies any wrongdoing. The hip-hop mogul could face life in jail if convicted. The defendant and his supporters bowed their heads in prayer in the courtroom moments before the jury - comprised of eight men and four women - was let out to deliberate. The jurors must now sift through seven weeks of sometimes graphic and emotional testimony about the musician, who has won three Grammy Awards. The trial had heard about Diddy's propensity for violence and his sexual predilections, including drug-fueled sex marathons dubbed "freak-offs" or "hotel nights." Wearing his customary sweater and khakis, Combs stood facing his supporters in the audience and bowed his head with them. As they finished, they applauded, along with the hip-hop legend. The star, born in New York City, has pleaded not guilty to federal charges of racketeering conspiracy, two counts of sex trafficking — relating to two of his ex-girlfriends — and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution for allegedly arranging to fly his girlfriends and sex workers across state lines. ‌ In closing arguments last week, federal prosecutors and Combs' defence team took their last shots at convincing jurors to convict or acquit the musician. Assistant US Attorney Christy Slavik said: "The defendant used power, violence and fear to get what he wanted. He thought that his fame, wealth and power put him above the law.' She said that he used his "close inner circle and a small army of personal staff, who made it their mission to meet the defendant's every desire, promote his power and protect his reputation at all costs." But defence lawyer Marc Agnifilo hit back. He said: "This isn't about crime. It's about money." He noted that one of Combs' accusers in the criminal case also sued him in civil court. "He is not a racketeer. He is not a conspirator to commit racketeering. He is none of these things. He is innocent. He sits there innocent. Return him to his family, who have been waiting for him,' the lawyer told jurors.

"It's true!" Goncalves' family said in a Facebook post. "We are beyond furious at the State of Idaho. They have failed us. "Please give us some time. This was very unexpected. We appreciate all your love and support." Kohberger is expected to plead guilty to the brutal killing of the students in their own home in exchange for live in prison, NewsNation first reported. The four consecutive life sentence comes with no possibility of parole and he must reportedly waive his right to appeal, according to ABC. A court hearing over the bombshell u-turn is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, where a judge will decide whether to accept it. Kohberger, 30, was due to go to trial in August for the fatal stabbings of Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin in an off-campus home in Moscow, Idaho, on November 13, 2022.
