Boy band signed by Diddy reveal the moment he 'switched out of nowhere' when they were just teenagers

A boy band signed under Sean ' Diddy ' Combs' record label recalled moments the disgraced mogul 'switched out of nowhere' and took his anger out of them while they were still teenagers. Diddy, 55, is currently standing trial on racketeering and sex-trafficking charges, to which he has pled not guilty, and his ex-Cassie Ventura has given shocking testimony about his 'freak off' parties. Jurors watched video of the rapper attacking Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel in 2016 as she tried to escape one of his 'freak offs', and Ventura described Combs as unpredictable, claiming he had outbursts of violence when his 'eyes grew black.' As his trial continues, this week members of the group B5, who signed with Combs' Bad Boy Records in the early 2000s, told the US Sun they witnessed his aggressive behavior first hand. Patrick Breeding, one of the groups lead vocalists, recalled a moment when Combs became aggressive with him over the phone when he was just 14. 'We were getting ready for our second single, You Got Me, and we were working on choreography,' Patrick told the outlet. 'We were making adjustments to it, and [Combs] was like, "I don't like that, let's change this." So, when we left rehearsal, he had called. 'I was on the phone talking with [Combs]. "I'm like, 'What's going on?" He's like, "How's it looking? Have you guys made the changes?" 'I'm like, "Yeah, we made the changes. It looks great. I feel like everything is pretty much good to go." 'And then he kind of just like switched. Just switched out of nowhere and started raising his voice. Like, "No, it ain't. It ain't better."' Patrick said he tried to explain to Diddy that they changes were good, but 'he just went off.' 'I was surprised and shocked because I haven't experienced that. We met him multiple times. We did showcases. So, I was very surprised, and I was kind of like confused like where it was coming from. B5 member Dustin Breeding, added, 'He just didn't like the answer, I guess, it set him off.' 'For me, I just had an experience with him just kind of jumping on the phone with me. I guess I said something to my mom, which I don't know how he got that information. 'He was yelling at me. I was taken aback a little bit, like, where's this animosity coming from?' The band members, who are all brothers, shared that they were not surprised to learn about the charges levelled against Diddy. 'Everybody knew. He was always throwing parties. He was here, there, music, clothing, and also he was the CEO, so he was always all over the place,' Patrick said. Another Diddy protégé, Aubrey O'Day, recently revealed she will not be testifying during his trial despite being contacted by Homeland Security. O'Day, 41, rose to fame as the lead singer of the girl group Danity Kane, which got a record deal with Diddy's Bad Boy Records in 2005 after winning season three of MTV's Making The Band 3. The singer — who has spoken out against the disgraced hip hop mogul in the past and called his indictment a 'win for women' — said she will not take the stand at the trial, which entered its fifth day on Friday. 'No, I'm not here to testify for the Diddy trial, that I know of,' she said during a premiere episode of Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes's iHeart Radio podcast covering the trial. She had previously caused speculation she'd appear in the courtroom after recently sharing a social media video from New York.
