It is a historical fact that
WWE
stars have tried their hand at capturing the bright lights of Hollywood at some point in their career. The Rock famously left the promotion back in 2003 to become a movie star and is now the highest-paid A-lister in the business today.
Even John Cena and Batista have followed suit and are known for iconic roles in The Peacemaker series and Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, respectively.
And it seems another megastar is preparing to make big strides in what could be the final few years of her Hall of Fame-worthy career. Case in point:
Becky Lynch
!
Becky Lynch to Star in New FX Series Titled 'Movers'
Sometime back, there were rumors of 'The Man' hanging up her boots for good amidst her year-long hiatus from WWE. However, the Irishwoman returned at WrestleMania 41 and is now reigning as the Women's Intercontinental Champion on Raw.
But this doesn't mean that Lynch is giving up on her Hollywood dreams.
In fact, Lynch is reported to star in the upcoming FX comedy series 'Movers' alongside Darius Homayoun, Manny Montana, and Maz Jobrani. The series is created by one of the minds behind Reno 911! According to a July 7 report from Deadline, the network has officially approved the pilot. This means the pilot episode will be made, and based on how it turns out, F/X will then decide whether to order a full season.

The series is expected to be an improvised workplace comedy based on the lives of a group of movers. Robert Ben Grant, who created Reno 911! is the show's lead. Apart from this, fans will see Lynch in Netflix's Happy Gilmore 2 later in the month and Star Trek: Starfleet Academy anywhere between now and 2026. The trend of wrestlers featuring in films is not new, but recently, it has seen an uptick.
Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns are set to appear in the live-action reboot of the Street Fighter franchise, with Rhodes donning the role of Guile and 'The Tribal Chief' playing Akuma.
Moreover, Lynch's former archnemesis, Liv Morgan, recently filmed a role in the upcoming Takashi film called 'Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo'. As of now, Lynch is set to defend her Women's Intercontinental title at Evolution 2 in a triple-threat bout against Lyra Valkyria and Bayley.
It will be interesting to see how 'The Man' performs at the second-ever all-women's PLE. For the unversed, Lynch also appeared on the first edition of the event back in 2018 in a brutal Last Woman Standing match against Charlotte Flair.

Divya Deshmukh devastated in FIDE Women's World Cup final draw against Koneru Humpy

Divya Deshmukh devastated (Screengrabs) The first game of the FIDE Women's World Cup final between 19-year-old Divya Deshmukh and 38-year-old Grandmaster (GM) Koneru Humpy ended in a tense draw on Saturday in Batumi, Georgia. But it was the emotion on Divya's face at the end, hands covering her disappointment, that told the real story of a missed opportunity. Watch: Making her debut in a major final, Divya came in with bold intent. Playing with the white pieces, she surprised many by opening with 1.d4, a move she hadn't played all tournament. It was a clear sign of targeted preparation. For the first hour, the young International Master (IM) held a clear edge, pushing Humpy onto the back foot with sharp, aggressive moves. But as the clock ticked and pressure mounted, Divya began using significant time for key decisions. The advantage slowly began to slip away. Humpy, ever composed, showed why she's long been India's top female player. She neutralised the pressure with precise calculation and calm defence, turning the tables slowly without ever forcing the issue. Shawn Kelce's basement confession fuels wild rumors about Jason and Travis Kelce's secret third brother

Shawn Kelce's basement confession fuels wild rumors about Jason and Travis Kelce's secret third brother (Image Via X) Imagine a hidden Kelce sibling whose story is almost invisible. Recently, a comedic video emerged online featuring a man calling himself Shawn Kelce, saying: 'What's it like being the third Kelce brother? I'm not gonna lie, it's rough sometimes. ' He claims he still lives in their mother Donna's basement. This clip made many people curious. Who is this Shawn? Is he real or is it a joke? The video was made with CBS and stars Donna Kelce in a mock scenario that plays on the fame of Jason and Travis Kelce . The short clip created a mystery and suspense about whether a third Kelce brother truly exists. Shawn Kelce says he is the third Kelce brother living in his mom's basement Shawn Kelce introduces himself as the older brother of NFL stars Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce. In the video (made in February 2023), he says it is hard living in his mom Donna's basement while his brothers are famous. He says, 'it's rough sometimes' and that he has his own podcast called the Kelcecast. People often stumble on his show by accident when looking for Jason and Travis's famous 'New Heights' podcast. In the skit, Donna even jokes she wishes Shawn would move out of her basement. However, credible sources confirm Shawn Kelce is not a real Kelce brother. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like This Man Took a Selfie With His Dog And The Police Showed Up Immediately Learn More Undo The entire story is a humorous creation. CBS worked with Donna Kelce to produce the video as a playful idea. The character supposedly lives in the basement, feels overlooked, and plays up a fictional narrative of the third Kelce trying but not succeeding. There is no real Shawn Kelce born to Ed and Donna Kelce as a third son. Donna Kelce confirms there are only two Kelce sons, not three Jason Kelce is the older brother, a former center for the Philadelphia Eagles, retired after 13 NFL seasons. Travis Kelce is the younger brother, star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. Both are public figures, host the popular 'New Heights with Jason & Travis Kelce' podcast, and are often in the media. Their mother Donna actively appears in interviews and social media. There is no evidence of any third sibling in interviews, biographies, or reliable journalism. The fictional Shawn Kelce is simply a satire, designed to spark curiosity and jokes. The comment on his life being 'rough' and living in his mom's basement is part of the script. It plays on fans' recognition of Jason and Travis, but is not based on reality. Thus, all claims about the third Kelce brother are comedic fiction, not factual reporting. Dibyendu Bhattacharya recalls bonding with Saiyaara star Ahaan Panday on sets of 'The Railway Men': 'He used to come to my van and take me to...'

Veteran actor Dibyendu Bhattacharya reflected on the film industry's unpredictability and praised Ahaan Panday's successful debut in 'Saiyaara.' He fondly recalled Ahaan's time as an assistant director on 'The Railway Men,' emphasizing that genuine emotional connection trumps marketing strategies for a film's success. Dibyendu believes sincerity in filmmaking is key, as predicting audience preferences remains impossible. Veteran actor Dibyendu Bhattachary, known for his powerful performances in Jamtara, Dev D, and Poachers, recently reflected on the unpredictability of the film industry and the rising star power of debutant Ahaan Panday . The Monsoon Wedding actor recently shared his thoughts on what makes a film connect with audiences—and revisited his warm memories with Ahaan from their time together on the sets of The Railway Men, where the Saiyaara lead was then working behind the scenes as an assistant director. From AD to Lead Actor In conversation with News18 Showsha, Dibyendu expressed genuine warmth for Saiyaara and its debutant Ahaan Panday, reflecting on their time together during the shoot of The Railway Men, where Ahaan served as an assistant director. He recalled how Ahaan often accompanied him to the set and engaged in friendly conversations. Having recently spoken to Ahaan, Dibyendu shared his happiness about the young actor's debut, describing it as the kind of moment one hopes for at the start of a film career. Why Saiyaara Stood Out Cracking what truly works in the film industry is no easy feat—many star kids have made their debuts recently, but Ahaan Panday has clearly stood out with an impressive start. Reflecting on his breakthrough, Dibyendu Bhattacharya shared his happiness for the young actor, acknowledging the impact Ahaan has made right from the outset. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Free P2,000 GCash eGift UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo The actor further reflected on the unpredictability of the film industry, especially in an era crowded with fresh talent. When asked about Saiyaara becoming a nationwide hit despite limited promotions, he emphasised how there's no clear formula for success. In his view, if there truly were a set code or strategy, then every film—from indie projects to those backed by giants like Warner Bros, Dharma, or Yash Raj—would be a guaranteed hit. Marketing Can't Beat Emotional Connect He also pointed out how unpredictable audience preferences can be, stressing that even the most well-planned marketing strategies can fail if a film doesn't strike an emotional chord. He noted that if there truly were a foolproof marketing formula, everyone would be using it. According to him, a genuinely good film should be able to resonate with viewers even without aggressive promotion—because ultimately, it's impossible to predict what will connect with the audience. For Dibyendu, the only dependable rule in the unpredictable world of cinema is working with sincerity. He believes that filmmakers and actors should focus on giving their best with dedication, while leaving the outcome to destiny—because no one can truly predict which film will succeed or how things will unfold. What's Next for Dibyendu and Ahaan On the professional front, Dibyendu Bhattacharya was recently seen in Fateh and Kapkapii. Meanwhile, Ahaan Panday's debut film Saiyaara is on a dream run at the box office, inching close to the Rs 200 crore mark within just a week of its release.
