Stray Kids top 400m views with ‘Thunderous' music video

Korea Herald07-02-2025

The music video for Stray Kids' 'Thunderous' amassed 400 million views on YouTube, said label JYP Entertainment Friday.
It is the band's second video to achieve the feat, following that of 'God's Menu.'
'Thunderous' is the focus track from its second studio album 'Noeasy,' its first million-selling album that was released in August 2021. The single topped iTunes Top Songs Chart in 52 regions and earned it six trophies from television music charts in Korea. The song was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America last year.
Meanwhile, the band will host a fan meeting in Incheon, Korea next week. From next month, it is set to resume their "dominATE" tour, starting in Santiago. The tour spanning across 34 cities around the world will run until the end of July.
Highlight to host fan concert in March
Highlight will host a fan concert in Seoul on March 8-9, agency Around Us announced Friday.
As the event title 'Welcome to the High-Mart' suggests, the live show will be full of upbeat energy as the four members welcome fans to standalone concerts in Korea.
They celebrated the 15th anniversary of debut last year and toured five cities in Asia — Hong Kong, Bangkok, Kaohsiung, Tokyo and Singapore — after a three-day gig in Seoul. The Seoul concert was made into film 'Lights Go On, Again' as well.
Highlight originally debuted as Beast and earned its right to the former band name last year, having come to an agreement with prior management company Cube Entertainment.
Its last album is fifth EP 'Switch On' from March last 2024, which topped iTunes Top Albums Chart in nine regions and main track 'Body' came in first place twice on television music chart shows at home.
