A woman revealed how she got her garden lawn looking lush and green again.
Patricia Munday took to social media back in 2020 to share her hack to get your grass healthy again.
She shared before and after pictures of her garden and before using her bargain buy, her lawn was looking lackluster.
The majority of her grass had turned brown and had also started balding in some places.
But after using the miracle product, her lawn was back to looking thick and lush, and it took just a couple of weeks.
She said: "Just wanted to show our lawn after using Speedy Seed from Home Bargains.
"Absolutely amazing we were going to re-turf parts of the garden and our so glad we tried this, highly recommend."
While she may have shared the buy years ago, it's clearly stood the test of time as Home Bargains are still selling it for just £4.99 for 750g.
Home Bargain bosses: "Fast-acting grass seed and easy to use, this Speedy Seed Grass Seed is a great way to fix dead patches in your lawn.
"This lawn seed features fast-germinating seeds to provide you with a flawless lawn in no time. Perfect for bringing new life to old lawns and restoring the greenery of your garden."

In the comments of the post shared in the Facebook group, Gardening On A Budget Official, Patricia, revealed how she sowed the seeds and how long they took to work.
She said she sowed the seeds generously (especially on the bald patches), before stomping them into the soil with her feet and watering them daily.
Patricia added that the seeds began to grow within two weeks and just two weeks after that, her lawn was good as new again.
People who saw the post were quick to thank Patricia for the hack while others confirmed the buy worked wonders.

People begged for my skincare routine claiming I looked 19 not 39 – Korean beauty is a gamechanger & my 2 tips are FREE

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A 39-YEAR-OLD woman with flawless skin has been mistaken for being 20 years younger than she actually is. The mother proudly showed off her make-up routine online but was met with disbelief from many after revealing that she will soon be celebrating her 40th birthday. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 A mum-of-four has revealed the secrets behind her youthful complexion Credit: tiktok@bananalianas 2 In addition to Korean beauty, the 39-year-old shared her five-step routine for flawless skin Credit: tiktok@bananalianas Numerous social media users begged Liana, who is from the UK, for her skincare routine and now, the gorgeous fiancée has set the record straight on the secrets behind her youthful look. According to this brunette, she swears by Korean beauty - a beauty trend focused on the 'glass skin' look - for flawless skin. Not only this, but she also got candid on the two tips she recommends to defy wrinkles - and luckily for those on a budget, they are totally free. Showing off her 'go to everyday make-up routine' as a busy mum-of-four, Liana added concealer under her eyes, liquid bronzer to her forehead, nose and cheekbones and liquid blusher to her cheeks. Following this, the content creator, who has ditched foundation for good, applied gel to her eyebrows and finished off her natural look with a subtle brush of eyeshadow under her lash line, as well as a touch of Vaseline on her plump pout. But Liana's TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @bananalianas, sent social media users wild and quickly amassed 152,000 views, 15,600 likes and 252 comments in just three days. Viewers couldn't believe their eyes at Liana's age and raced to the comments to express their thoughts. One person said: 'You look like you're around 19-25.' Another added: '39!! I thought you were 22.' A third commented: 'You look mid 20s what.' From banana skins to ear massages - five natural anti-aging hacks revealed At the same time, one woman begged: 'Sis drop the skincare routine.. you look incredible.' Meanwhile, someone else asked: 'Do you use any skincare? Because you don't have wrinkles at all.' I think the game changer for me has been hydration and stopping vaping Liana In response, Liana wrote back and confirmed: 'I do use skincare, I can do a tutorial of what I use. I do have fine lines and wrinkles close up but skincare and hydration has helped minimise the look.' Not only this, but in addition to skincare, Liana also clarified her two free tips for an age-defying complexion, as she added: 'I think the game changer for me has been hydration and stopping vaping.' Biggest skincare trends for 2025 Face The Future's Head of Clinic, Kimberley Medd, shared the five skincare trends predicted to take off in 2025. 1. Exosomes Exosomes are the buzzword for 2025, taking advanced skin regeneration to new heights. These micro-messengers signal skin cells to repair damage, boost collagen, and accelerate recovery, and they're a gamechanger for targeting ageing. 2. Streamlined Skincare The age of 12-step routines is fading as consumers shift to more intentional, multi-functional products. Streamlining skincare not only saves time but also reduces the risk of overloading your skin. In 2025, we'll see a rise in hybrid products that combine active ingredients for simplified, effective results. 3. Vegan Collagen Plant-based collagen will dominate the skincare world this year, providing a sustainable, ethical alternative to traditional animal-derived collagen. Expect vegan collagen in everything from moisturisers to serums. 4. The Rise Of AI AI is revolutionising the beauty landscape, making it possible for consumers to get truly personalised skincare solutions. In 2025, we predict a dramatic shift towards AI-powered tools that help people understand their skin on a deeper level. 5. Hair Loss Solutions - Hair loss is an issue that affects more men than we often realise, and it's no longer just something we're talking about behind closed doors. This year, expect to see a continued rise in demand for treatments that not only tackle hair loss but also nurture overall scalp health. Liana's five-step skincare routine Moments later, the mother posted a short clip showing off her game-changing skincare routine, leaving many gobsmacked. First things first, she used the COSRX 6 Peptide Skin Booster, which works to improve skin elasticity, fine lines, pores and radiance and is now reduced to £18.90 on Amazon. Following this, Liana applied the K-SECRET Seoul 1988 Retinal Eye Cream, which has been slashed to £10.99 and the K-SECRET Seoul Retinal Serum, which shoppers can nab for £13.46. 39!! I thought you were 22 TikTok user After this, the mother applied the Mary&May Under Eye Cream, which is on sale for £7.46 and works to reduce dark circles and improve uneven skin tone. For the fourth step in her routine, Liana used the Corsx Advanced 96 Snail Mucin Power Essence, which is a number one best seller on Amazon and is now available for only £16. The bargain buy repairs and rejuvenates the skin from dryness and ageing, whilst giving a natural and healthy glow. To finish off her five-step routine, Liana used a gua sha to sculpt her face. Showing off her flawless skin, the mother beamed: 'All done, skin is looking dewy and glowy.' Unlock even more award-winning articles as The Sun launches brand new membership programme - Sun Club

My bargain Shein haul if you're struggling this wedding season & the dress you couldn't pay me to expose my cleavage in

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) WEDDING season is officially in full swing - but finding the perfect frock can often prove to be a real challenge. Searching through thousands of results on numerous websites for a stunning wedding guest dress can often feel like a full-time job and when you're a tall girl, it's even harder. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 8 With a wedding to attend right around the corner, here, Abby Wilson shares her honest thoughts on six dresses from Shein Credit: Abigail Wilson 8 Not only did she get candid on the biggest loser of them all, but she also revealed the dress fashionistas will need to race to nab Not only do you want a frock that will fit nicely and be bloat-friendly as well as suitable for hours of dancing, but many of us are after something that won't burn a hole in our purse. As a result, Abby Wilson, a Senior Digital Writer, who is a size 12 and 5ft7, ordered six wedding guest dresses from Shein, on a mission to find the best bargain buy that is not only the right length and fit, but is affordable too. Here, the Shein shopper shares her honest thoughts on her recent haul, including the best dress you won't want to miss. As well as this, the bargain hunter also got candid on the biggest let down of all, that left very little to the imagination… Dress #1, Floral Strapless Maxi Dress When I saw this Strapless Maxi Dress on the Shein website, I instantly knew I had to have it. 8 This dress scored a 4/5 Credit: Abigail Wilson As well as being super trendy, it's also not too tight, which is great for a post-wedding meal and endless glasses of Prosecco. While it was originally £24.99, I managed to get it for just £15.49, which I think is a real steal. As well as being purse-friendly, it immediately left me really impressed when I tried it on. It's pretty, floaty and in my books, is perfect for a summer wedding. My rating: 4/5 Frankie Bridge slammed by fans again for SHEER wedding guest dress that's 'too much' and will 'upstage the bridge' Dress #2, Lavishia Solid Color Mini Dress My hopes were incredibly high for this Solid Color Mini Dress, which had been slashed from £15.99 to £8.27. 8 But this frock was a big loser Credit: Abigail Wilson It looked gorgeous in the pictures, but was somewhat of a horror show when it arrived. Yes, beggars can't be choosers when spending less than a tenner on a dress, but unfortunately, there was not much right and a lot wrong with this frock. The material of the dress, particularly the skirt part, felt very cheap and rather than chic, how it appeared online, it instead looked a bit of a flop on my figure. I liked the colour and neck scarf, but the material of the bodice didn't do me any favours, making this dress something I couldn't force myself to wear out of the house, let alone to someone's special day. My rating: 2/5 Dress #3, Plunging Back A-Line Dress I imagined I would feel out of this world in this A-Line Dress, but the plunge neckline was not appropriate for any event, let alone a wedding. 8 This dress left very little to the imagination Credit: Abigail Wilson The saving was impressive - while it was once £24.99, it had been reduced down to only £11.68 - but you couldn't pay me to bare my cleavage in this. The colour was nice and the material was great for the price, but when it says plunge, this dress really means plunge. Wedding Guest Outfit Etiquette If you're struggling to decided on a dress to see you through wedding season, here's a few rules on what not to wear so you don't get in trouble. Folklore says that wearing red at a wedding means you slept with the groom. Casual attire like jeans and flip flops should always be avoided. Any colour that could be picked up as white or cream - even if it's not. Most would agree that your cleavage needs to be covered. Wearing white is a massive no-no if you're not the bride. My entire chest, literally everything, was on show with this maxi dress, which made me feel more exposed than ever before. If you're not afraid to get your assets out, it might not be a total loser, but for me, it's a definite no go. My rating: 1/5 Dress #4, Sleeveless Ruffle Tiered Spaghetti Strap Dress Yellow is super on trend at the moment and what perfect colour for a destination wedding on a sunny day? 8 If you're searching for something flattering, this could be your best bet Credit: Abigail Wilson I'm a huge fan of ruffle dresses, which are super flattering for those who are self-conscious of their tummy. This Spaghetti Strap Dress, which I got for just £19.49, after it was reduced from £31.49, left me beaming. Not only is the shade gorgeous, but it's super comfy and a great length too. To top it off, it's also got a lovely tie back detail and for less than £20, is a win win in my books. My rating: 4/5 Dress #5, Halter Tiered Chiffon Maxi Dress With a 48% off saving, bringing this Chiffon Maxi Dress from £29.49 to £15.38, it was a great price, but not so great a dress. 8 This dress comes up very large and is super heavy Credit: Abigail Wilson As well as being incredibly heavy, it didn't look anything like the picture and barely covered my side boob. It comes up big and if you want something that looks like a sack, then it might be for you, but for me, I'll be sending it straight back. While it is described in the listing as 'elegant', in my opinion, it's the total opposite. Yes, it arrived quickly thanks to the fast posting of Shein Club, but it left me not very disappointed with the unflattering, oversized fit. My rating: 2/5 Dress #6, Asymmetrical Neck Ruched Ruffle Hem Dress Last, but certainly not least, this Ruched Ruffle Hem Dress is the star of the show for me. 8 This frock took the top spot, with a five out of five rating Credit: Abigail Wilson Not only is the colour great, but it's super flattering too. While I thought it might be somewhat uncomfortable, this £13.49 frock, which had been reduced from £28.49, proved me very wrong (in the best way). If you're searching for a last-minute wedding guest dress, you'll want to nab this, and fast Abby Wilson My partner gasped when he saw it and not only is it sure to turn heads, but even better, it's really comfortable too. I'm normally more of a flowy dress kind of girl, but now I'm not surprised this beautiful, bold frock is a Shein bestseller. If you're searching for a last-minute wedding guest dress, you'll want to nab this, and fast. My rating: 5/5 Unlock even more award-winning articles as The Sun launches brand new membership programme - Sun Club

Humble deck chair gets ultra modern makeover… complete with phone charger and screen glare block

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) THE humble deck chair has been given a 21st century makeover to cater for the modern beachgoer - including a phone charger and screen glare block. Dating back to the 1800s the deck chair has now been given a modern twist which could become a staple on British beaches. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 4 The redesigned deck chair comes laden with modern tech Credit: James McCauley/PinPep 4 A screen glare blocker makes scrolling in the sun easier Credit: James McCauley/PinPep Solar panels and a battery pack have been added to the new and improved high-tech deck chair which can now keep your electronics topped up. A drinks holder and a built in fan have also been added to the new design as well as a bespoke horn to scare off greedy seagulls. PayPal created the modern seaside seat which Brits can visit from August 9 in Brighton. The construction of the contraption was prompted by research showing one in five Brits shop on their phones or tablets at the beach. A poll of 2,000 adults found clothes and fashion (37 per cent) are among the top purchases, with food and drink (34 per cent) and gifts for others (24 per cent) also on the cards. With nearly a fifth (19 per cent) spending between £51-75 when shopping online at the beach, with some spending up to £200. Phones overheating (43 per cent) and a lack of WiFi (36 per cent) are among the things holding consumers back from a seamless scrolling experience on the beach. While a lack of shade (31 per cent) and getting sand in the phone charger hole (23 per cent) are other inhibitors. Consumer behaviour and retail expert Dr. Amna Khan, speaking in partnership with the brand, said: 'Smartphones have transformed nearly every aspect of our lives, from how we navigate our cars to how we manage our health and shop for essentials. 'This digital shift has made shopping anytime, anywhere second nature – even on the beach, positioning it as the next frontier for a tech refresh. The UK's best beach bar – with DJ sets, sunset views and signature cocktails 'The once simple beach experience is getting a long-overdue upgrade. 'With tech-enhanced deckchairs featuring innovations like built-in glare-blocking screens, beachgoers can now seamlessly blend relaxation with connectivity, reflecting the evolving expectations of today's digital-first lifestyles.' The research also lifted the lid on all the factors people consider when picking a perfect beach spot, with shade (48 per cent) ranking as the top factor ahead of privacy (40 per cent) and proximity to the bar (36 per cent). When it comes to beach nostalgia, buckets, spades and sandcastles are among the items 70 per cent associate with childhood trips to the seaside, with arcades and slot machines also featuring (52 per cent). 4 Solar panels and a battery pack allow Brits to keep their phone topped up Credit: James McCauley/PinPep 4 A handy horn has been implemented to help keep seagulls away from your snacks Credit: James McCauley/PinPep Striped deckchairs were cited by 41 per cent, with mini fridges containing snacks (29 per cent), solar panels for charging (21 per cent) and pop-out book holders (25 per cent) among the other creative add-ons people would like to see incorporated in the classic beach staple. Dave Jones, head of consumer from PayPal, which has introduced a three per cent cashback incentive to help people put money back in their pockets, added: 'We can see from our research that more and more people are bringing their phones to the beach, and their shopping habits too. 'That's why we've reimagined the classic deckchair with a modern twist, making it easier to stay connected and even earn cashback while soaking up the sun.'
