Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton expecting second child
The couple shared this joyous news exclusively with Vogue on 7 June, accompanied by a stunning maternity photoshoot.
The announcement came just before the UK premiere of Tom's latest film, The Life of Chuck , held at the SXSW festival in London, according to People.
Zawe proudly displayed her growing bump on the red carpet, wearing the elegant Emilia Wickstead gown paired with a matching cape.
Tom complemented her look in a sharp grey suit. Zawe expressed her gratitude for the support she received during this 'sensitive red carpet dressing moment,'.
'I feel really lucky to be working with someone that I know and who's been such a champion of me at this sensitive red carpet dressing moment.
I feel like I'll be very held on an evening, whereas as an expectant mother you can feel a little bit exposed'. TOM HIDDLESTON AND ZAWE'S LOVE STORY
The couple's love story began in 2019 when they met while starring in the West End production of Harold Pinter's Betrayal . They later reprised their roles on Broadway.
Their relationship blossomed quietly until they announced their engagement in 2022.
That same year, they welcomed their first child in October, although they have kept the baby's name and gender private.
Zawe shared fond memories of her friendship with Emilia Wickstead. 'We met years ago at the British Fashion Awards when she dressed me, and we attended together.
It was the most fabulous night and instantly felt like kindred spirits. We aligned so much on fashion and womanhood, and I've always loved her designs.
They embody a seamless blend of classic and contemporary, and she's also just an incredible craftsperson.
You feel the level of detail that goes into every piece when you wear them'. Emilia herself described dressing Zawe for the maternity shoot as a 'full-circle moment.'
She remembered how Zawe had worn one of her gowns during her previous pregnancy, keeping the news under wraps at the time.
As the family prepares to welcome their newest member, fans worldwide eagerly await more updates.
Tom once shared in an interview, 'I'm very happy,' a simple yet heartfelt expression that resonates deeply now as their family grows.
Congratulations to Tom and Zawe on this wonderful new chapter.

Cardi B hit with civil battery lawsuit following 2023 Las Vegas concert incident
Cardi B is being sued by an unidentified woman who claims she was attacked by the rapper with a microphone at a 2023 concert she attended. Image: Image:Instagram/@spicybardi Rapper Cardi B is facing a civil battery (common assault) lawsuit stemming from a July 2023 concert incident at Drai's Beachclub in Las Vegas. The lawsuit, filed by an Ohio woman identified in court records as Jane Doe, alleges that the US rapper threw her microphone into the crowd, striking her after she (Jane Doe) splashed a small amount of her drink toward the stage. According to 'People', the lawsuit claims that the 'Bodak Yellow' hitmaker seemed visibly overheated on stage and, while holding a mic, asked the audience to splash her with water. Doe claims she acted in response to Cardi B having encouraged fans earlier in the show to splash water on her to cool off. According to the court complaint, when Doe complied, Cardi B allegedly 'suddenly and forcefully' hurled the mic in her direction, causing a physical impact and emotional distress. Additionally, she is suing Drai's management group for negligence. According to the allegations, Cardi B acted in apparent anger and without warning, suddenly and forcefully throwing her microphone directly at Doe, which caused her to experience immediate fear of harm. After the incident, the woman reportedly filed a police report. However, the case was closed due to insufficient evidence, and no further action was taken at that time. Despite the Las Vegas police closing the criminal case due to insufficient evidence, Jane Doe is now pursuing civil action to hold Cardi B accountable. The lawsuit also notes that the microphone was later auctioned for nearly $100,000 (over R1.7 million), which Doe claims further worsened her emotional distress.

Denise Richards slaps restraining order on Aaron Phypers amid explosive divorce drama
This week, actress and reality TV star Denise Richards made headlines not for a glamorous red carpet event, but for sharing unsettling allegations of domestic abuse against her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers. Image: Instagram In Hollywood, celebrity breakups often come wrapped in public statements, polite words, and carefully curated social media posts. But sometimes, the real story is darker and heartbreakingly human. This week, actor and reality TV star Denise Richards, 53, stepped into the spotlight not for a red carpet appearance, but to reveal shocking allegations of domestic abuse against her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, 52. According to court documents filed last Wednesday and reported by "People", Richards has been granted a temporary restraining order after accusing Phypers of a pattern of physical and verbal abuse. The details, raw and unsettling, pull back the curtain on a relationship once painted as glamorous and supportive. 'Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack, threaten to kill me…' Richards alleges in her statement. She claims the abuse has left her with at least three concussions and adds she was too afraid to speak out earlier, fearing for her life and Phypers's threats to harm himself. Photographs included in the documents show Richards with a bruised, swollen eye, a painful glimpse into what she says was happening behind closed doors. Phypers, however, has fiercely denied the allegations, telling TMZ: 'The claims are not true. She is creating a story to save her image… I have all the real evidence.' A love story once shared with the world. For many fans, this breakup hits harder because Richards and Phypers didn't just share their love privately; they invited audiences in. From their 2018 wedding featured on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" to Phypers stepping behind the camera to shoot Richards's photos for her OnlyFans account, their bond was framed as playful, creative and deeply trusting. 'He shoots a lot of my photos, and I value his creative input,' Richards told "People" last year, praising his support as she launched her OnlyFans page. Phypers described his approach as 'high-fashion Vogue… not crazy, but sexy.' Richards seemed genuinely grateful for his involvement. Video Player is loading. Image: Instagram When the picture-perfect life cracks Their split became public weeks ago when Phypers filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The filing included requests for spousal support and, perhaps surprisingly, the return of his power tools. According to "US Weekly", Phypers claimed he made no income in the past year, while Richards reportedly earns around $250,000 monthly. They share no biological children, but Phypers named Richards's youngest daughter, Eloise, 14, as his stepdaughter, a reminder of the blended family they once presented to the world. While celebrity lives often feel distant from our own, experts say these revelations highlight truths many people quietly face. Saying that domestic abuse is often hidden behind the public image of a perfect relationship, especially when there's fame, money, or shared creative projects. Victims may fear speaking out because of threats, love, or concern for the partner's mental health. Studies cited by the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) show that, on average, victims may leave an abusive relationship seven times before leaving for good. Financial power imbalances, public image, and emotional manipulation often complicate decisions to speak out. Richards's claims about fearing Phypers's threats to kill himself if she exposed the abuse echo what domestic violence researchers call 'coercive control', a pattern of intimidation and manipulation meant to keep victims silent. Studies cited by the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) show that on average, victims may leave an abusive relationship seven times before leaving for good. Image: cottonbro studio /pexels When fame meets vulnerability Stories like this do more than satisfy celebrity curiosity. They challenge us to see the difference between what's shared online and what happens in private. Social media and reality TV often make relationships look effortless, but experts continue to warn that abuse can thrive when there's public pressure to look perfect. While Richards and Phypers's divorce is playing out under the glare of the tabloids, it's a sobering reminder: even relationships that appear picture-perfect can hide painful truths. For readers, it's a chance to reflect on what healthy love really looks like: trust, safety, respect and why fame doesn't shield anyone from domestic violence.

'I got to star in an action movie, that is something I never thought I would ever say. I love this character because I find him extremely relatable. The rest of the cast includes Rachel Brosnahan, Caitríona Balfe, Jon Bernthal, Michael Stuhlbarg, Holt McCallany, Julianne Nicholson, Adrian Martinez, Danny Sapani and Laurence Fishburne.
