Cardi B shuts down split rumors with Stefon Diggs in viral video

Express Tribune3 days ago
Cardi B and NFL star Stefon Diggs have silenced breakup rumors with a surprise joint appearance in a workout video uploaded by Diggs.
The video comes days after fans noticed Cardi had deleted all photos of Diggs from her Instagram, sparking widespread speculation about the couple's relationship status.
The rumors intensified when Cardi B posted a cryptic message during Paris Fashion Week, simply stating, 'I'm sooo tired.' Social media quickly filled with theories, many believing the couple had split. However, Diggs' recent YouTube video, titled Mental Reset, featured Cardi B joining him for a workout, casually crushing the narrative of a possible breakup.

The unexpected gym vlog took fans by surprise and reignited speculation—this time, about whether the social media wipe was a marketing move. Some believe it was a brief fight, while others point to Cardi B's upcoming album Am I the Drama?, dropping on September 19, suggesting the drama may have been part of a PR strategy.
Cardi B responded to the gossip with fiery posts on X, telling fans to 'Get off the internet… ENOUGH!!' She later added, 'Enjoy these looks and day …..and ignore the bored.'

The couple, who went public earlier this year after Cardi's split from Offset, had been seen vacationing in France, with Diggs reportedly renting a Victorian castle for her. Despite the digital drama, their public workout appearance suggests they remain together—if not as lovers, then at least as teammates in life and fitness.
Stay tuned as Cardi gears up for her album release and fans continue watching this headline-making duo.

Hip hop fest cancelled amid Kanye furore

The Slovakia festival due to welcome Kanye West next week has called off the event following the uproar over the US rapper's May release of a song glorifying Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. Before the July 20 gig was cancelled, Bratislava's Rubicon hip hop festival was set to be West's only confirmed live performance in Europe this year. Though he has won 24 Grammy Awards over the course of his career, the erratic rapper has become notorious in recent years for his increasingly antisemitic and hate-filled rants. West, who has legally changed his name to the shorthand "Ye", released the song Heil Hitler on May 8, the 80th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II. In the wake of the announcement of West's appearance at Rubicon, thousands of people signed a petition against the gig. The rapper – a vocal supporter of US President Donald Trump – is "repeatedly and openly adhering to symbols and ideology connected with the darkest period of modern global history", two groups behind the petition said. In a statement on Instagram late on Wednesday, the festival's organisers said the decision to cancel the event was "due to media pressure and the withdrawal of several artists and partners". "This was not an easy decision," the organisers said, without drawing a direct line between the rapper's planned appearance and the cancellations. Contacted on Thursday by AFP, the Rubicon festival did not offer further explanations. Styling itself as the central European country's premier hip hop hang-out, the Rubicon festival was set to run from July 18 to 20. US rappers Offset and Sheck Wes were set to share top billing with West. Australia cancelled West's visa on July 2 over Heil Hitler, in which West raps about his custody battle with ex-wife Kim Kardashian before the song ends with an extract of a speech by the Nazi dictator. West's wife, Bianca Censori, is Australian.

BLACKPINK's ‘JUMP' earns biggest YouTube music video debut of 2025

BLACKPINK's latest single "JUMP" has achieved a massive milestone, earning the biggest music video debut on YouTube in 2025, with over 19 million views and counting. Released on July 11, the video quickly made waves, surpassing expectations and drawing intense fan reactions. However, the excitement surrounding the release led to unexpected technical issues, with YouTube experiencing a glitch. They broke the internet, literally. — AI Viral Insights (@playpal001) July 11, 2025 Fans noticed that the video's like count outpaced its view count, causing confusion. Some speculated that the platform had "frozen" the views. In response, YouTube confirmed that the issue was caused by a surge in real-time engagement, which they were actively addressing. YouTube support reveals BLACKPINK broke the platform with their 'JUMP' video after fans noticed likes outnumbered views. — Buzzing Pop (@BuzzingPop) July 11, 2025 The "JUMP" music video, which garnered 1 million likes in just over an hour, also earned the title of the fourth-fastest music video by a female K-pop act to hit this milestone. This record-breaking speed places it among the top tier of BLACKPINK's achievements. The video exceeded 9.3 million views and 1.8 million likes just hours after release, further solidifying the group's dominance in the digital music world. The song itself is the group's first new release in nearly three years, following their August 2023 track "The Girls (Blackpink the Game OST)." It debuted live during BLACKPINK's DEADLINE World Tour opening concert in Goyang, South Korea, on July 5, 2025. The track was co-written by Teddy, Diplo, and several other collaborators, with Diplo also co-producing. The accompanying music video, directed by Dave Meyers, features bold visuals and hardstyle sound elements, resonating with fans worldwide. Despite early critiques surrounding the tour's management and content, "JUMP" has proved to be a massive success, reaffirming BLACKPINK's status as global superstars. The DEADLINE World Tour will continue into 2026, with upcoming stops across North America and beyond.
