Daniel wore a classic black tuxedo, and put flowers in his chest pocket which matched the pop star's bouquet.
To announce the news of her wedding, Aitchison did it in a rather unusual but iconic way as she posted on TikTok wearing her wedding gown.
'When George isn't crying when he sees me walking down the aisle,' the caption over the video jokingly reads as she is seen leaving the room she just entered.
She added in the caption of her post that, luckily, her new husband cried when she was walking down the aisle.
The couple met in 2021 while working on a collaborative project, and in May 2022, Aitchison officially confirmed their relationship in an Instagram post.
In November 2023, the lovebirds announced that they are engaged with a sweet post on Instagram.
The hitmaker subtly revealed her engagement with a selfie showcasing a diamond ring, followed by an official announcement featuring intimate photos and a tea tray with the engagement ring box, hinting at how Daniel proposed.
Fans of the pop singer congratulated the singer as she embarks on her new chapter.
'Ahhh I'm so happy for you Charli and George!! I'm going to be blasting the 1975 and Charli XCX music all night to celebrate for you guys,' a social media user shared.
Another user added: 'Congrats, babe! Wishing you a long and happy life together.'

Something on the side? Nando's pokes fun at Astronomer CEO
Nando's has done it again with another hilarious social media post, this time mocking Astronomer CEO Andy Byron who was recently caught cosying up to his alleged mistress during a Coldplay concert. While Nando's originated from South Africa, its Australian counterpart took a page out of its book with a cheeky advert. In an Instagram post, the flame-grilled chicken restaurant ran a promotion that poked fun at Astronomer CEO, Andy Byron. The ad read, 'Little something on the side? Enter Coldplay for a free regular side with any main.' View this post on Instagram A post shared by Nando's ANZ (@nandosaus) In a clip that broke the internet last week, Byron was caught canoodling with an employee, Kristin Cabot, during a Coldplay concert. Byron is a married man whose wife's name is Megan Kerrigan Byron. Lead singer Chris Martin said of the awkward moment: 'Either they're having an affair or they're very shy.' Meanwhile, Astronomer – the DataOps company Andy Byron worked for – has responded to the social media storm with a cheeky video of their own. In the clip, an unexpected guest – Gwyneth Paltrow, the ex-wife of Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin – made an appearance. In it, she tackled several 'burning questions' about the company and the scandal. Claiming that she had been 'hired on a temporary basis' in a PR post, Paltrow said: 'Astronomer has gotten a lot of questions over the last few days – and they wanted me to answer the most common ones.' The Hollywood actress went on to indirectly answer a few spoof questions about what had happened. 'We'll now be returning to what we do best: delivering game-changing results for our customers,' she added. The video comes after Andy Byron stepped down from his post as Astronomer CEO amid the backlash. Let us know by leaving a comment below, or send a WhatsApp to 060 011 021 1 . Afrika Tikkun celebrated its talent day at DP World Wanderers Stadium
Smiles, cheers, and jubilation filled the DP World Wanderers Stadium on July 26 during Afrika Tikkun's talent day. The talent day is a chance for 3 000 children from different Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres around Gauteng to come together to show their talents. Afrika Tikkun is a South African non-profit organisation transforming the lives of children and youth from cradle to career. Also read: Scouts welcome Johannesburg Children's Home for weekend of fun and friendship The talent day was made up of sporting activities, including netball, soccer, running, and dance competitions. Afrika Tikkun's CEO, Marc Lubner, explained that although there were prizes for winners, every single child present would receive a prize. 'The Talent Day Initiative started approximately 12 years ago; we were a much smaller organisation. We've got a new group that's here today from Marikana, which is part of our latest outreach programme.' Lubner added that the NPO has begun to engage with children with disabilities in an inclusion programme. 'So rather than keeping the disabled children separate, we involve the children in mainstream.' SCROLLBACK SATURDAY: 'You cannot park there sir' — Highvelder, 1975 edition
#ScrollbackSaturday: Long before TikTok trends gave us the viral phrase 'You cannot park there!', Ermelo had its own parking fail that made local headlines. This gem comes straight from the Highvelder archives of 1975 and features a certain Mr W.A. Kleynhans and a gravity-defying car flip that would have gone viral today. The original 'You cannot park there' moment During one night in 1975, Mr Kleynhans of Smuts Street somehow managed to park his car, upside down, in a ditch near the old Paratus Centre. According to the newspaper article, the car landed on its roof without sustaining any serious damage. An impressive feat… if that was the goal. 'Dit wil gedoen wees' The report humorously noted that passersby were puzzled by the vehicle's position and even quipped, 'Dit wil gedoen wees.' (Translation: 'That takes some doing.') TikTok would've loved this Fast forward to 2025, and this moment would've probably been an instant hit on TikTok if someone had captured and captioned it with the now-popular 'You cannot park there!' audio. It just proves that viral-worthy moments existed long before the internet, they were just recorded in newsprint instead of on smartphones. A nod to local history Moments like this give us a humorous but heartfelt glimpse into our town's past. Not every archive entry is about politics or tragedy, some are just about a man, a ditch, and a very unfortunate parking job. Have your own memories or photos from Ermelo's past? Drop them in the comments or tag us using #ScrollbackSaturday.
