Ex-Steelers QB Kenny Pickett injured at Browns training camp
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Pickett suffered his hamstring injury at the end of Saturday's practice — and is set to be re-evaluated later this week.
The Steelers traded Pickett to the Eagles last offseason — who then sent him to the Browns, where he's involved in a four-way competition for the starting QB position in Cleveland.
Pickett was splitting reps with QBs Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabriel, and Shedeur Sanders for the Browns' starting spot — and despite a strong early showing at camp, the ex-Steeler will likely fight an uphill battle for the job while nursing his hamstring.
Here's to hoping the former first-rounder can return quickly and earn the role for Cleveland — as the Week 6 revenge game, when the Browns visit Pittsburgh, hinges on Pickett under center.

He returned in time for the network's Super Bowl 59 coverage and is expected to be back full-time this season on 'Sunday NFL Countdown.' As for Sanders, many feared he might be preparing to step away from coaching altogether. A video surfaced Monday showing Sanders acknowledging that he was preparing to make his will, which fueled speculation about his future in Boulder. "It was never in my spirit, in my heart, I would never coach again," Sanders said, via On3's Brett McMurphy. Although life may now look a little different for Sanders, he made it clear he's in good spirits and ready to coach. And that's nothing but a positive sign for Colorado. Over the past two years, Sanders and the Buffaloes have become one of the most must-see teams in college football.
