Selena Gomez Celebrates 33rd Birthday With Benny Blanco, Taylor Swift & More

Yahoo5 days ago
Selena Gomez rang in her 33rd birthday a few days early, with loved ones including fiancé Benny Blanco and longtime friend Taylor Swift by her side. The singer and Only Murders in the Building star shared her birthday party photos on Instagram, where she also penned a letter reflecting on the past year, on Sunday (July 20).
The party appears to have happened in Los Angeles this weekend, just before Gomez's actual July 22 birthday. In a rooftop picture from the celebration, what seems to be the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel sign is seen, with a sighting of the Loews Hollywood Hotel in the near distance.

All smiles, the birthday girl wore a glamorous sequined jumpsuit with a flared leg (the Tianna Silver Jumpsuit by Nadine Merabi) topped with a shaggy jacket. She accessorized the party outfit with a Brilliant Earth x Jane Goodall necklace.
Gomez locks lips with Blanco in one snapshot. In another, she poses with Swift in what looks to be a balloon pit.
'As I prepare to celebrate my 33rd birthday, I can't help but reflect on the incredible journey that has brought me here,' Gomez, who released the album I Said I Love You First with Blanco earlier this year, said in her birthday note. 'This past year has truly been the most beautiful year of my life, and I owe so much of that to all of you.'
She added, 'Thank you for your unwavering love and kindness. Whether you cheered me on from the sidelines, shared in my highs and lows, or simply offered a listening ear, you have made this year unforgettable. I am extremely humbled and insanely appreciative of all your love.'
'As I step into this new year, I'm filled with excitement and hope for what's to come. I look forward to sharing more moments with all of you, creating new memories, and continuing this beautiful journey together. MADLY LOVE YOU ALL,' said the soon-to-be 33-year-old.

News will continue as a digital brand, including its website, E! Online, and social series, including The Rundown on Snapchat, Hot Goss on Instagram and RE!CAP on YouTube. The announcement follows NBCUniversal's decision to split its broadcast offerings. However, just after the news was announced, Knight shared a video on Instagram where she lip-synced the lyrics of Megan Moroney's "6 Months Later." "You were part of an incredible Hollywood legacy hosting E News! Part of history! I hope you feel so proud. ❤️," one fan wrote, while another user commented, "That's the sound of doors bursting open ❤️‍🔥." Former E! News co-host Vazquez also praised Knight and Sylvester's work. PEACEMAKER Season 2 Image Features a Monstrous New Character; New Synopsis Released — GeekTyrant

James Gunn is taking things to another level in Peacemaker Season 2, and we've got our first look at a wild new addition to the DC series. Den of Geek shared new behind-the-scenes images from the upcoming season, and one of them features Gunnstanding in front of a rubber-suited monster, and it's holding a little rat-like thing in his arm. The mysterious creature that looks like something straight out of a sci-fi horror flick. I have no idea who or what this is, so go ahead and let your theories fly! Whatever it is, chances are this new creature is going to make life even more complicated for Christopher Smith aka Peacemaker and his ragtag team. Along with the image, WB and Max also dropped a new synopsis that teases where the story is heading this season: 'In season 2, Peacemaker discovers an alternate world where life is everything he wishes it could be. But this discovery also forces him to face his traumatic past and take the future into his own hands.' The previous description adds: 'The new season follows Christopher 'Chris' Smith, aka Peacemaker, the vigilante Super Hero as he struggles to reconcile his past with his newfound sense of purpose while continuing to kick righteous evil-doer butt in his misguided quest for peace at any cost.' Sounds like we're diving deep into multiversal chaos this time around. Gunn confirmed as much in a recent interview, saying: "People are realizing that Peacemaker Season Two is about two dimensions, and that's really the core of the show. But it's not as if one of these is old DCEU and one's DCU. That's dealt with in a different way, very upfront in a season where most everything in Season One is canon and some things are not. And in fact, I did a podcast with [actors] Steve Agee and Jen Holland. And we did every episode of Peacemaker, and in those episodes, I talk about what's canon and what's not. I basically chip off little things from Peacemaker Season One that aren't canon, like Aquaman. But most of the stuff is canon." So,we're getting alternate realities, canon shake-ups, and a wild-looking new monster in the mix. If Season 1 was wild, Season 2 is shaping up to be absolutely insane.
